They keep reporting my review on Google so here it is again:…read more This review is for the salesman Zeke. Zeke once called my office asking for a quote for his client. His client just came to America few weeks ago and had NO credit score, so of course the insurance is going to be high because he has no record of credit here in the United States of America. I proceeded to tell them the price (it was very high because once again, no credit history in USA) and he spoke to me like I was stupid. He said something along the lines of "Do you hear the price you're saying right now?" Like yes, I'm not deaf and I'm literally just reading off the generated quote my company is offering him. He then said that he's been working in this industry for "so many years" so he knows more than me. He is a car salesman; I had to take a course, and pass a state test to get my license to sell insurance. So not quite the same. Since he knows so much about my industry, then why didn't he take into consideration that his client (no driving history with DMV, no Credit score) is someone that reputable auto insurance companies do not want to insure because they do not want to take on that risk. After berating me again and again, he also told me that I will be "hearing from him" and then he hung up. Ok. What an unpleasant person. The way you treat others is a reflection of yourself. Zeke, how about you don't berate another professional next time just because they conveyed information to you that you did not like. If I go to Walgreens to pick up something and see that the price is too high for me, I simply just walk out and find somewhere else to purchase it. Same thing could be applied in this scenario. I'm sorry that you had to take more time out of your day and call different insurance companies to get this client his car insurance so he can drive off the lot. I know you want to close as many deals as can each day, but that doesn't give you a pass to treat someone else in the process like they are beneath you.

Some people sell cars…read more Some people change lives. Two days ago, my sister lost her husband to a 9/11-related illness. The grief is overwhelming. Along with losing the love of her life, she suddenly found herself facing financial decisions no one should have to make while planning a funeral. As a 9/11 survivor myself, this tragedy hits our family in ways that are difficult to put into words. One of those decisions was getting her out of a truck that was becoming a crushing financial burden and into something safe, reliable, comfortable, and affordable. We walked into Open Road Honda in Edison hoping to find a vehicle. Instead, we found humanity. Our salesperson, Conrad Matthews, is one of the finest human beings I have met in a very long time. He didn't see a commission. He saw a widow. He didn't rush us. He listened. He cared. He treated my sister with dignity, compassion, patience, and genuine respect at a time when every conversation was difficult. There were no sales tactics. No pressure. No games. Just honesty, kindness, and a sincere desire to help. Because of Conrad, my sister left in a vehicle she can afford, one that is safe and dependable, with one less burden to carry during the darkest days of her life. People often say, "Customer service is dead." Conrad Matthews proved that statement wrong. In a world where it's easy to find someone who can sell you a car, it's incredibly rare to find someone whose character leaves a lasting impression. Conrad didn't just earn our business--he earned our family's respect, gratitude, and trust for life. Open Road Honda should be incredibly proud to have someone like Conrad representing their dealership. Employees like him don't just build sales--they build reputations. They create customers for life. They remind us that compassion still exists. Conrad, thank you for reminding our family that there are still truly good people in this world. During one of the worst weeks of our lives, your kindness made a difference that you'll probably never fully realize. If you're looking for a dealership, don't just go to Open Road Honda. Ask for Conrad Matthews. You'll understand exactly why this review has nothing to do with buying a car--and everything to do with meeting an extraordinary human being. Some heroes don't wear uniforms anymore. Sometimes they simply greet you at the front door of a car dealership with kindness when you need it most.

I highly recommend SEBASTIÁN MORENO at Open Road Honda in Edison New Jersey…read more He attentively listened to what I needed instead of rushing me into a decision. He felt more like an advisor rather than a salesman with no pressure, just genuine guidance. Sebastián took the time to get to know me as a customer, treating me more like a human being rather than a commission check. As long as he is with Honda, he will always have our business. Do not hesitate to work with him if you plan on buying a new car.

I saw the BELOW COMMENT by the purported owner William posted Mar 10, 2025 .It caught my attention…read moreas Bill's picture is shown as the Owner's response, inferring that he is onsite. To my knowledge ,Bill retired and stepped away from GT automotive at least 6 years ago. I've been there a few times after Bill stepped away and more times prior to Bill retiring. Perhaps he is still the owner on paper, none of my business. I believed that the new owners were, Julie and her husband. I did not go to GT to make friends, but high quality work. However, Julie is rough, arrogant and lacks any semblance of HUMILITY and appreciation of customers. I stopped going to GT as the front desk woman "Julie" was consistently rude and dismissive. GT does great work, however, Julie was a terrible "Know It All" . ************* July 17, 2026- UPDATE - Responding to the "Owners" response to my post of July 4, 2026.... As to my standards and expectations, Customer Service is not limited mechanical work, it also includes respect, kindness, being treated with dignity. IMO, the "Owners" response to my comment reflects an unwillingness to accept constructive feedback, the need and desire to try to insult, rather than embrace, hence, reflecting a lack of humility, or ownership, full stop. In possessing a civil litigation background, I ask questions, not intended to put one on the defensive, as it may. Julie's husband (a seasoned mechanic) is kind. I just could not tolerate Julie, who works the front desk, and for the most part answers the phone calls as well. She displayed impatience with my questions. She is the conduit to the mechanics. In any business, the front desk gives the best impression on the appreciation of customers or lack of. Julie should be grateful and thankful that GT Automotive is doing well. This is demonstrated in having a high bar on respect and kindness to all customers. My comment should not be misconstrued as a vendetta as alleged, nor do I consider my comment a "bad review" as further alleged. It is intended to provide an opportunity for Julie to receive and accept the feedback in that this is how she may come across to some. Yelp Guidelines is to rate the "Overall" Experience. It is my first hand experience. Unequivocally, I am not a mechanic, nor is Julie. I had not dealt with Bill on my few last visits, as he'd long ago retired, at least 5 -6 years ago. Once again, GT DOES GREAT WORK. ********************* Business owner information William G. Business Owner Mar 10, 2025

Your company does not know how to build cars that withstand rain, so mine flooded. I was a loyal customer and paid off my loan several years ago. The company has taken over 19 days to resend a lost lien release letter for a lost title. When they resent it, it was sent from Nissan, not Infiniti, and of course DMV would not accept it. Dmv offered to take a fax statement that the company is the same, but Infiniti wont send it. I have called and emailed your local, financial, and consumer services. They have offered no resolution. I still don't have a letter for a car I paid off. You company is blaming rain, the postal service, and DMV, but taking no accountability. They can't email, deliver or notarize in a dealership, nor send overnight mail (that I would have paid for). I still do not have a letter. Customers can't trust your cars and customer service.
