    Dale Johnson so unprofessional with customers. They are advertising Lexus TX Starting $609. When I get there he is like laughing at me saying they don't have those rates. Everything is close to $1K

    The sales lady Stefani is very professional and extremely helpful. However, her sales manager is awful and misleading. First day, I get an appraised value on my trade in and spend one hour with Stefani to discuss an ESH lease. Before I leave, the sales manager came on board and says he can get my monthly payment down from 468 to below 400. But I need to do this deal today. (Typical sales technique) I ask him about invoice price and he didn't say NO on that day and give me an impression that he can makes things happen because it's the end of the month and I'm a returning customer. From my perspective, the only two way to bring down my monthly payment below 400 is either from chopping down msrp to invoice or giving me more $ on my trade in. So I think it's pretty sweet deal along with the current lease rebate. The next day when I go back with my tile, two car keys, my trade in car original window sticker and insurance quote and try to get this deal done, The game begin. Right before I sign everything, I go over the number again and I find out he is playing game with me by using my trade-in tax credit (which i will get no matter what) to lower my monthly payment. (Not the invoice I was asking for from the beginning of day1). I begin to ask him how did he get the monthly payment down? He goes like why do I need to know? Really? That's the main factor I can determine if you are actually giving me a great deal or just playing your stupid game with me. If I didn't double check the number he present to me before I sign, he almost got me. No transparency at all for this manager, full of BS. At the end, he says things like there is shortage and he will not give invoice price to anyone. Well, Just say that on the first day if you don't want to give me invoice, don't waste my time and my sales lady time, I won't be bother come back next day with my tile and everything. FYI, the car is sitting on lot for 90 days, it hurt your inventory turnover and you don't want to present to your big boss next time he visit (probably end of fall) that you can't sell a new car for 3 month in a hot market like you mentioned, chip shortage etc. Plus, 4,500 rebate is probably the highest you will get this year( past and future month).And 22 model will kick in. It's the end of the month and the car is still here with the 4500 rebate going on for a month. What does that mean? Be more honest with your customer and stop playing your silly game. I just laugh in my heart when I watch you trying hard to use your sales technic on me. You did a good job entertaining me and wasting my time. As a sales managers, your job is to help your sales lady, not to get on her way. Period. To all car buyers out there. Buying preowned car, ask what they pay for auction price and if there is any reconditioning request. Most CPO will have this. Add both together and compare what they sell u for. Or look for the trade in value. Leasing new car, look at total cost you paid over your lease period and plus your residual, the closer you get to the invoice or msrp, the better lease deal you are getting. Buying New car, wait for 2022 model come out and shop for 2021 model. Usually you can save a lot from msrp.

    I'm not sure what to think of this Lexus dealer. It's a different experience. They have the familiar amenities in the lounge while you wait for your service to performed. But the service advisors don't seem exactly friendly or service oriented. Or at least mine didn't. My service advisor was on the phone 3/4 of the time while doing my paperwork at the same time. I will say he was efficient. But it's considered rude to talk on on the phone at the same time while dealing with a customer. They have the coffee machine, bagels, and pretzels in the lounge. Car wash was conveniently down, when I really needed a wash. And they left the number tag on the rear view mirror. Maybe I'll try a different location next time, pretty interesting at the levels of service you experience at each. -_-

    This is an update to my previous review where I had encountered working with a service consultant with poor costumer service. Today I have to say my experience was almost exceptional. Deborah Negin, went above and beyond with helping me with my concerns. I have tire and rim warranty, and she made sure to help me identify the problems with my low profile tires. My tires kept leaking air slowly within a month period causing me to bring my car to get checked. Finally we determined my front rims are bent causing a low leak. Luckily for my warranty, and a great service consultant, my rims are being replaced. They even gave me a loaner car of my choice, and IS 350. The car service driver Dennis was also very exceptional. He really knew his way around town and got me to work in 8 minutes at 8 am. Unfortunately I couldnt use him to help pick me up due to time constraints and traffic. So glad I was able to return and work with such great people here. Hope to return again soon.

    The service and professionalism by the service department staff at Lexus of Edison was excellent, especially the service advisors Sumit Patel. This is my 4th time to this dealership and they went above and beyond to make sure my experience was smooth and rewarding. The loaner cars are clean and reliable- unlike other dealerships. There is also a nice array of refreshments for the customers. The Cashier checkout/payments could be a little quicker though, as there is sometimes a line.
