    Visited this location, as my regular Sephora was out of the item I was searching for. I called in…read moreadvance to ensure the item, was indeed, available. It was! I walked into the store and went straight to the product. Excited! I waited in line to pay, and was serviced by the RUDEST associate I have EVER encountered!!!!!! I first, set my product on the cash wrap. Then reached for my gift card and was in the process of handing it to the associate. At the same time, the associate was hitting keys on the register. I paused, as she looked "busy". She waved the gift card away, so as to say, "I don't need that right now." I asked, "What do you need from me?" She tells me "That.", meaning the product. Her tone INSTANTLY rubbed me the wrong way. I gave her the product and began entering the phone number tied to my account. My face must have shown my frustration with her attitude, because out of nowhere, she tries calling me out in front of her colleagues and other customers by stating "I'm not ringing you out. You're rude." EXCUSE ME!!!!!!! I said nothing to this associate for her to display such unprofessional and nasty behavior. Her co-worker, while wrapping up with her client at the next register, suggested she walk away. The associate THEN continues to call me rude, all while I'm fuming, staying silent. Welp, she called me rude one too many times, and I responded that she, was in fact, the rude one. I let her know her behavior was unacceptable! While I could have, and VERY much wanted to say exactly what was on my mind, I chose to take the high road and dismissed the situation. Another associate intercepted, APOLOGIZED and wrapped up my transaction. I'm thankful she stepped in and stepped up. She was fantastic and quickly diffused the situation. Kudos to her! As for the obnoxious, confused and unprofessional associate, I'm hoping she is held accountable for her disgusting behavior and takes ownership of the consequences of said behavior. What was to have been a quick and easy trip, turned into an unfortunate teachable moment....for her!!! My suggestion, introduce 'mystery shoppers' to monitor the quality of the customer experience. I'd love to connect with customer service, management or executive stakeholders, if additional insight regarding my shopping experience is required.
