Very rude employees. I would suggest hiring more people to answer phone calls I called three times no one picked up the phone. I went up to the store because it says " curb side pick up" and the employee was very rude DIANNE or Donna whatever her name is needs to work on her customer service.I work in retail too and she does not handle customers nicely. I was in a few weeks ago and needed help with color. Angela was a tremendous help and her recommendations on product and color were right on the mark! She took the time on a busy evening to make sure I had everything I needed. My hair still looks great weeks later. I'll definitely be back! 4 stars rather than 5 is due to shelves not being too full, as I heard other customers say the items they needed were sold out. read more

Second time there in a week to try to correct the shoddy result of the color product "recommendation" the women there gave me. Hair is green and brass yellow now. Trying to find a pro to fix this mess ASAP. The products they push are crap. When asking for info on any product the one girl reads off the bottles because it's obvious she has zero knowledge of what she's doing. Terrible service!! The young girl who could have been my daughters age accused me of stealing. The manager did not apologize or rectify the situation and allowed her employee to yell across the floor to go back and forth with me. Been in here a few times and every time the manager has been nothing horrible to her employees. Literally screaming at them right in the store with customers around. Talking to them like they're slaves. It's absolutely horrible. She obviously doesn't have the ability to deal with people correctly. Literally every time I go in there I have a terrible experience because of the way the staff acts. They are wildly unprofessional, whether they know their stuff or not doesn't even matter. The customer service is horrible, they act like they're hanging out with their friends rather than working and barely give you the time of day. I've been to a lot of different locations, this one has been my favorite. Some of the customers that come in are just rude to the employees that work there and they just smile and continue to serve them. There has been a middle aged woman working each time I go and she's so pleasant to talk to. I always forget to get her name. I came here to compliment the store because I am there so much and it is my favorite one in the Monmouth County/Ocean County area. I am quite shocked to see coincidentally that someone came on yesterday to write a review that someone thinks the African American women there are racist....I am white and race is NEVER an issue when I walk in...they don't speak like that or in terms of race ever ....notice how in the other person's review they made it about race not the staff lol...anyway their staff has basically saved me from making mistakes I was unknowingly making to my hair and shown me much better products than I was using. Arrived 15 minutes before opening and I knew it was early and decided to stand outside store. Upon arriving by door, African American Woman Banged on the window and with an attitude yelled at me that the store was not opening until 11. After I made my purchase from a younger African American girl at the register , I told the Older African American Woman that I knew the store didnt open until 11 and she did not need to bang on the window and yell at me. Well she immediately denied it, so I asked the young girl what was the womans name and she would not tell me. saying she did not have to tell any names. Then the Woman started yelling at me again telling me she was not afraid of a complaint. I told her by now that I di not need to be talked to and treated this way and that she was RACIEST against white people. Well she really went OFF. Yelling at me even louder and said I was raciest. Some of my best friends are African American and I have a mixed Granddaughter so of course this is not the case. I just left the store as she was still yelling at me.
