Today was my second time visiting the salon. My stylist was Khatia Pass. I received a honey treatment and asked for a perm rod set. I wish I would have canceled the appointment. First, she didn't apply an ample amount of setting lotion or foam wrap. Second, she applied the curlers horizontal instead of vertical. Lastly, hair was sticking out of the rollers. When i dried my hair was looking dry as ever! There was no luster or shine. She added oil to "pull the curls out" and that didn't help. This was horrible. Please bear in mind that my hair was recently relaxed by her so there was no reason for my hair to look like this. My hair looks like i had these curls for 3 weeks and i just left the salon an hour ago. The salon itself is nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Just make sure you have the right stylist. I am ashamed, however will certainly post photos. I contacted the stylist who has yet to respond to my texts. UPDATE: I received feedback via Google from the salon which prompted me to call. I spoke with the manager who asked me to send photos so she could review them with K the stylist. I sent the photos and a text to confirm receipt of the photos. I have yet to receive a confirmation. I really hope that they try to correct this to make my experience ELITE. I will certainly let you guys know how this play out. UPDATE: I heard back from the stylist who offered me an appointment on friday to correct this error. However, after she saw my review (that would have been updated if she fixed the problem) she no longer wanted to correct the issue. I got a text message state she had to cancel the appointment due to the review left on the salon's page. Not everyone can accept constructive criticism. Everyone doesn't stand behind their work either. Stylists if you don't know how to do a style, tell the client, don't just throw something up there to get their money. read more

This Salon is very on point at being pros at this !My daughter came here to get her hair done and let me say they have a great person who was at the desk and just watched the entire staff treat each customer like a superstar was blowing me a way! Located on a side street you may need to use your GPS but once you find it you won't for get. Smooth,hip and clean is the theme that i picked up here. a pink and black theme in the waiting area with cozy chairs and pillow couches. While waiting for her we were offered drinks and something to eat. Wish I took a picture of my daughters hair.This was her 1st time here and she will make that 2 hour drive back because her hair looked great as well as the professinal way of doing business. read more

Beware of any salon that asks for half the cost of services upfront. I had a stylists named Emonie who tried to run off with my deposit. She canceled on me then went ghost. I had to track her down through the salon. The owner hires unlicensed stylists who are scammers. It's nothing Elite about this salon. After 3 weeks of waiting on the stylist and filing a complaint with the salon I get my hair done. Only to be washed in cold water, a deep conditioner that made my hair shed, blowed dried fried and a braid style that lasted 2 weeks. This young girl shouldn't even be doing hair but the salon keeps saying because she rents a booth she doesn't have to be licensed. Huh? You are advertising unlicensed horrible stylists on you web to make a profit. I had to file a complaint with the State over this trash salon. read more

Very unprofessional. Accused a young lady of trying to leave without paying when that was not at what was going to happen. Extremely judgmental and demeaning to individuals who are simply trying to express how their experiences went. Could use more work in the area of customer service. Had a bad experience with stylist Katie for a shampoo/roller set. She was nice but seemed unfamiliar with doing hair. Shampoo was not thorough and she had to redo the roller set. We tried to resolve the issue with ownership, but they stated that they do not take responsibility for the stylists' work due to them being independent contractors. Odd policy that I haven't experienced before but it is what it is. In the waiting area after hair was finished another stylist asked if I was waiting to get my hair done. I had already gotten it done but clearly didn't look like it. Would love to have had a good experience because I heard good things but unfortunately didn't happen. read more

I was scheduled to see BJ today to get crochet braids taken out and I also wanted shampoo/conditioner/press. I was advised by her that the amount would be $85 (which is fine/good). BJ sent me a text to inform me of what the $85 includes (trim/shampoo/conditioner/blowout/silk press/style). I texted back to inform her that I won't be getting the trim. She then replies back saying... LOL when is the last time u had one. I responded, someone else usually trims it for me and I said thanks. (Currently, my stylist is not available due to being on medical leave. But I wanted to get my crochet braids taken out which I've only had them for 3 weeks). Fifteen minutes later, I get another text from BJ saying, "Oh ok u can go to that someone else your press won't last without a trim which I'm sure you need coming out of crochet. No thank you." I gave her a call to inquire but she never answered. I texted her back.. Not sure if I offended you. But ok. Thank you. I called the salon to see if someone else could do my hair. I advised the receptionist what had happened and she put me on hold. After a few minutes, she gets back on the phone to tell me that no stylist here will do what you are asking for without the trim. Well, I've been natural for years and I didn't need a trim as gotten that previously. I was just trying to get the crochet out and hair shampoo/conditioned and just pressed. I was not concerned with how long the style would last. Without the protective styles, I wear it different ways anyhow. The level of professionalism at this salon is in question. read more

Nuk is the owner and my stylist. She is a constant professional. I was suffering from damaged hair as well as hair loss. . My hair is now shiny, healthy, and growing pass my shoulders thanks to Nuk. She has helped me tremendously with my natural hair journey. The shop so spacious and clean. A plus considering how small and clustered some salons can be. I really love my hair experience, Nuk and the salon. read more
