When things opened back up after the pandemic, I to Cost Cutters and met Cody. Cody decided he was up for this task. My first visit consisted of a cut and color. The look was professional and the color turned out nice. Nothing too drastic. My second visit, I came in with a reference picture. Cody made some suggestions to adjust the style to my face, and made sure to clear time in his schedule so he could the adjust the cut if I was unhappy. The picture from my second visit is attached. I just had my third visit with Cody, and I must say he outdid himself. I showed him a different reference picture. Cody asked me what specifically I wanted from the cut, and again made some suggestions. He was able to get everything perfect. He made sure to thin out my hair so I wasn't too hot, and worked with my cowlick to make the style just what I wanted. A picture from this visit is also attached, but I curled it after visiting. Cody is extremely detail oriented, and wants to make sure you're happy with your cut. He's also nice to talk to. If I could recommend him more, I would!

This review is for the one stylist that I have recently seen. I normally don't give out names and review, but I will this time. this stylist name was Marie. A few days before I scheduled an appointment, I found out a family member who I was extremely extremely close to passed away unexpectedly. I was utterly devastated and was struggling immensely, so I decided to give myself some self-care and make an appointment before his funeral. I was only available during one time, so I made an appointment for 7:30 PM. I understand that this was late, and I work in adult foster care. I totally understand being tired the last hour of your shift. I walked in in Marie with my stylist. During my haircut, my hair was not wet while she was cutting, I found that kinda odd but I know a lot of stylists have their own preferences so I just thought that it was something that she prefers! At the end of my haircut I loved what I was given, but I thought it was kind of odd that my stylist kept giving my hair double takes, I truly just thought it was because she was tired because it was the end of her shift. I gave her a good tip and walked out. I went to my friends house after and he let me know that my hair was severely crooked and very messed up. I asked for layers, curtain bang, and a nice cut on my hair. None of those things happened. I am under the impression that she was aware that my hair looked off when I was leaving, she kept staring at my hair, but never said anything. I have been going to Cost cutters for a long time, and I've never had this issue. If you are looking for a great haircut place, I really would recommend cost cutters! I would just make sure you know who your stylist is before you go in, because I've never had an issue like this until recently.

She proceeded to do my makeup (which was $50 plus more for false lashes), did not match my skin tone, blend into my hairline, apply any highlight/lipstick/contour and here's the real kicker: told me to apply my own mascara at home.
