Bad, bad, bad. Clearly and plainly explained what I wanted via her requested. Did not listen, understand, or both. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and disgust, told me it would grow out in 8-10 weeks. Terrible come back. I gotta wear it. Why should I wait? I am the customer. Plus cut my ear, and mangled my eyebrows. Receptionist show I was livid. Told me it looked good. Terrible observation trying to sell a bad cut. Best to keep quiet. No photos. I had gone to the same barber for nearly 46 years in my life. He always gave me comb-able scissor cuts with razor trims to my neck, sideburns and edges. It has been 15 years since Sal retired, and I have since been looking for a barber or stylist who gets that all right. Meanwhile my hair has changed, a bit in texture, entirely in color, and some in volume. So, what I needed was someone who could reinterpret me in a similar finished style despite my changes. I found that today in Bonnie's amazing workmanship at Salon 7! I secured a convenient, prompt appointment from Vicki who received me at the front desk. Within an hour, I was sitting at Bonnie's impeccably clean workspace. She was highly professional, efficient, and friendly. I could not have received better service and have now put her in my calendar for monthly cuts. Thank you, Salon 7 for your new stylist. I have referred people to her also who have been delighted with the services too. This salon is reasonably priced and have always loved the result. One of the stylists here gave me the UGLIEST HAIRSTYLE I have ever had. I asked to look like Posh Spice. To have a thin, sleek bob that is longer in the front, shorter in the back. It looked like someone took a salad bowl and chopped. Literally. A bowl cut without any bangs. I looked hideous. It was thick, uneven and WAY too short. I was sobbing. How is that anything close to a Posh Spice haircut, and how does a modern hairstylist not know what a Posh Spice cut looks like? DO NOT GO HERE! Old, old, old. Outdated, and only for older women. Much older women. In fact, I should have known it was bad when I walked in and most of the clientele were in the 60s. read more

The receptionist, Janice, is a beyond stressful individual and she honestly should not be answering phones of a salon where women and men go in order to feel pampered. She constantly cuts clients off on the phone when you're trying to schedule an appointment, she groans if people walk through the door and the phone is ringing at the same time, and she talks nonsense constantly while looking for an available appointment for you. I don't need to know a hair dresser has a doctors appointment or is leaving early for the day when I'm trying to schedule a hair appointment with someone completely unrelated to the ones she's mentioning. Other than that, the salon is wonderful. It's a shame that individuals have to encounter her when they first walk through the door! read more

This is my first time to this salon. I had a manicure appointment with Linda, I was her last appointment of the day and I felt it. She was rushing, texting on her phone and even walked out to her car at one point in the middle of my services. I did not feel like an important client and that she'd rather be heading home. I was nervous about getting cut she was rushing so much. I will definitely be looking for another salon to become a regular at. These ladies saved my hair! I was in town visiting my parents when I decided to bleach my red hair blonde (note: NOT a good idea). A very nice salon (with spa services) located in West Chester! The salon is always clean, and for the most part they run on time and stay true to your appointments. I've used a few different stylists while mine (Carol the owner) has been out on vacation, and I have been pleased with everyone (which isn't easy for me). They are reasonably priced, well run, skilled and friendly, definitely worth visiting them! read more

Upscale salon at reasonable prices. They will even offer you a glass of wine! The products they use are far superior to other salons as well. The color lasts (i.e. permanent color really does mean permanent without fading). HIGHLY recommended. read more

I had my hair "smoothed" at Salon 7 in West Chester PA 19380 610-696-2211 My hair is not only more frizzy then it was before I had the treatment -it changed the color of my hair. I went back to the salon - frizzy hair as plain as day and the salon owner would not return my money. My hair is breaking and frizzy and ugly. The manager offered to flat iron my hair. What a joke. I paid $320.00 for them to ruin my hair. read more

Waited 30 minutes past my appointment time today before walking out. Receptionist was frazzled and blamed the client before me saying that she didn't let them know she had long hair. Let me start with the good part of my review. I was seen on time and left on time. My message therapist was AMAZING!!! Would recommend her to everyone I know! She was so kind and welcoming. The manicurist was very nice and did an awesome job on my feet and tried to do the same for my hands but felt rushed and to which I have a load of bubbles on my nails. Make up lady was a joy. She did a nice job. As for the lady for my hair... Well this is very upsetting. I was under the impression I was to have my hair washed and styled. Due to having very thin hair I brought a hair piece in for a BACK UP but never did my hair get washed... Never did she attempt to style my hair. Then she started to tell me it was going to be more money to put my hair clip in cause then it would be considered an up do. I paid $190.00 and tipped 20% and felt like a freak when I left there. The hair stylist was so snippy and rude I just wanted to leave. I decide not to review yesterday cause I do not post bad reviews, but as the time goes by today I find myself even more upset thatI spent hard earned money to have to go home and redo my hair. Everyone was getting rushed so I could be in this supposed BEST hair stylist chair that my nails have bubbles. I am seriously wondering if she thought I was not worthy of what she would give another client? I am getting married in 2016 and was really hoping this would be the salon I would go to for my special day. Well... Unfortunately it will be not. I have a hard time trusting people with my hair cause it is so thin and yesterday proved to me that I was correct especially when you have someone working on you who just wants to charge you more. Everyone is very professional, my stylist, Jamie is amazing and they are very fairly priced.
