While staying on Whidbey, I randomly looked up hair stylists and was extremely impressed by the phenomenal safety protocols that Salon Bella had (health waiver with sanitized pens, one client at a time, sanitization of chairs and tools in between customers, and even sanitization of POS surfaces used for payment). Tal was also able to accommodate a same day appointment at his very clean and modern salon. He helped me cut off 10 inches of quarantine hair into a lob that I absolutely love! Other shops around town might give lip-service to safety protocols, (one shop only put on masks when they saw me at the door, and when I looked inside, they had their dogs running loose in the shop. I walked away), but the folks at Color Box don't play: they sanitize in and out, use gloves when appropriate, disinfect between each customer and greet customers outside. Lets just say, I was lucky to have any hair at all when she was finished. The mop on top was beyond damaged; breaking, tangled and burnt. Shawn agreed to consult and came up with a repair plan.
