The ladies working were nice, but I was so displeased with my service. I went in to get a natural lived in look that would be easy to maintain and first left with blonde stripes at the root of my head. I asked for it to be retoned and they did, but let me leave with sopping wet hair and unable to see the final result till I got home. I got home and dried it myself and was just as displeased. I called and asked to go back for another round of toner at which they did but again, they let me leave with sopping wet hair. Once that dried for the third time I was still displeased and unsatisfied but realized I did not need to give them any more of my time. Were they nice? Yes. Were the helpful? Slightly? Were they accommodating? Yes. But letting a unsatisfied customer leave with wet hair twice was the last straw for me. I hope they figure something out /: photos for reference. I also found out the stylists the good reviews are about aren't there anymore - something to consider. read more

(Side note: I never write reviews, this is my first) I haven't had my hair done in so long and I found Salon Bella just typing in the closest hair place near me and liked the reviews so I booked an appointment ‍. When I got there everyone was so nice and welcoming. And my hairstylist, Nikki I believe, was so great and gave me exactly what I wanted. Really listened to what I wanted and gave me her opinion when I asked. I not only love it but I've gotten A LOT of compliments on it too and it's really my first time getting highlights on my dark brown hair. The cut is beautiful and the company was great. Melissa was not interested in me or in giving me the haircut I wanted. She not only ignored my instructions to keep length, but then proceeded to tell me she'd only taken off one inch (more like eight). She added horrible thick chunky layers which I did not agree to and they are so short I can't even put my hair into a ponytail (my hair was almost to my mid-back before the cut and now chunks are so short they don't even reach my chin). I'm livid about it. Never going back. The worst part? I tipped her 20%! (Face palm). I couldn't wait to get out of there - she seemed surprised when I didn't want her to blow dry it into a beehive and I left with it still wet. Nightmare. read more

Staff are really really nice and did a great work with my new hair cut!! I had super long hair and needed lots of trimming for damage control and my friend recommended me this place. It's really close to where I live so hey, why not? And yessss they did a great job and they use all Aveda products. It is larger inside that it looks from outside and oh the hair products they use smells amazing!! (I need to get them as soon as I'm done with my current ones) It's really clean and cute inside so if you're around, check it out!! read more

I have been driving 2 hours to northern MA for the past almost 6 years to get my hair done because I never wanted to leave my old salon. I made the jump and finally booked an appointment locally and saw Nicole today. She was AMAZING!!! I did a pretty heavy change on my length and I am so happy I did, my hair feels fresh and so much lighter. She was so friendly, welcoming and I am really in love with her work! Parking was easy, the salon itself is clean, well organized and pretty! I used to manage a day spa in MA and tend to focus on the little details and they did not disappoint! What a great experience at Salon Bella. I called for an appointment and they were able to fit me in right away even though I could tell they had to do a bit of shuffling to fit me in, which I really appreciated. As soon as I walked in to this Salon (which had great parking right in the Belmont plaza in the heart of Wakefield), I was immediately filled with a beautiful scent of relaxation. Definitely added a spa-like feel to this beautiful salon. The decor was fun, stylish and welcoming, and the employees were very professional, warm, and so personable. Happy to of met some great ladies, and enjoyed good, easy conversation. The hair trim and style I received by Nicole (the owner) was outstanding and one of the best I have ever received (only have met one other hairdresser who did my hair as well). Very happy with the products used (Aveda), the wash received, trim and style, and blow out/straightening. All of it was easy, standard amount of time, and great results. I will certainly be checking out this salon again. The owner and staff should be very proud of their beautiful business with quality work being provided. There is such a special feeling when you find a good fit for your hair and walk away feeling beautiful. Sometimes you need that time for yourself, to focus on you, and refresh. Love this place. First, totally Covid safe. They take this seriously. Then, the atmosphere. You are warmly greeted when you walk in. NO WAIT. My stylist, Jill, is the perfect combo of professionalism, artist and raconteur. I don't even bother to say what I want because I know her ideas are better. And prices are reasonable. The only downside is that I always spend too much money at Belmont market next door (plus side - great location so I can also get to cross a few chores off of my To Do list when I get my hair cut) read more

I was in full panic mode when I found out my hairdresser was moving to Florida. Jessie was the only one that I trusted with scissors and color near my head. And it took me awhile to even consider playing with colors. Since I trusted her, I trusted her referral to go see Nicole, who now owns Salon Bella. I admit, I couldn't completely ignore the fear that I could be setting myself up for a potential "hair scare" experience, but that fear disappeared after my first visit, and I have now been returning to Nicole's chair for the past 2 years. It makes complete sense why the former owner trusted Nicole to take over the salon. Her style eye and skill goes well beyond the sink. If you're looking for a chic salon with an extremely talented, fun and accommodating staff, Salon Bella in South County is where IT'S at. She's a magician, has saved me from multiple bad haircuts done by others, and even rescued my hair from peroxide blonde purgatory.
