I have thick hair, and while it was short, it is now very long (down to my waist) and Morgan has not only made me feel gorgeous even on my worst days (and she's seen them!) but the care and attention she gives my hair means it's healthier than ever. I go an entire week between washes, and I work out daily with extensive cardio. Whether she is curling my hair or doing a full body blow out, I always leave loving it. Never do I feel judged, nor like I'm boring her or wasting her time. I don't feel forced into uncomfortable small talk since the conversation flows so naturally; she's smart, professional, and sincerely cool. Lauren encourages me to share my ideas, photos, million questions, and requirements before we start. I did however get over myself and found Natural Creations and was feeling a little more optimistic after researching them to trust my hair in their hands. I was told when I called that they had two locations, and was able to get into the location at Pulse that very weekend. I arrived early as I always do, and parked conveniently out front. I wasn't sure how to get to the salon so I walked through the gym and was finally directed to the salon which is on the left side of the building. My stylist wasn't there yet, so I chatted with another stylist while I waited and she brought me some tea. When my stylist arrived we got to work discussing what my expectations were, and also about my last experience and what I definitely did not want. I've used the same Aveda "recipe" for almost 10 years and nobody has had a problem with it until I moved to new England which is odd to me. Anyway, she was able to figure out what I wanted and we got to work. The only downside of this location is that it is SUPER small. They only have two stylist stations and only one wash sink. I imagine it's not usually an issue but when I was there, they had to do some inventive musical chairs to accommodate us three clients. Once the foils were out, I held my breath but it looked great. Prices are reasonable for the product and the stylist's focus on their work. I was super pleased with the outcome, and am also interested to return for a blowout and see how they do on that as well. Parking is convenient and close, and the location is easily accessible near the tennis hall of fame. Great people, great work, and great representatives of Aveda! I will definitely be returning.

If you've ever planned a wedding, there are some things that you remember you need to do last minute. For me, it was my hair! It was so last minute that my maid of honor was planning on bringing a curling iron to do my hair! Sharon, who already had clients asked them if they would be willing to shift their appointments to allow me to get my hair done on my very special day. Her awesome clients agreed (thank you!) and we were booked. From the initial conversation, I could tell she was a positive force that exudes energy. When I showed up to my first appointment, we didn't skip a beat. It was as if we had known each other our entire life even though it was the first time meeting! We were laughing, singing, and chatting in no time. Working with Sharon is like getting the perfect banana split. Her personality is the maraschino cherries on top but the way she does hair is the vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, banana, extra sprinkles, whipped cream and the chocolate syrup! I mean this woman is a miracle worker. I came in with two photos of hairstyles that I would be interested in. Sharon looked at them and was like they're nice but I think we can do them better, she analyzed each part of my hair and identified curls that she could incorporate to give it more lift and showcase my headpiece in a manner that blended with my hair. A few years ago I had to cut my hair up to my chin because of how badly my hair had continued to break off and give itself a non intentional mullet looking cut. Gross right? And what was even grosser was the Well Water I had to use at home that made my hair break off even more, feel like straw and turn my blonde hair copper. I would have to go back monthly for my hair color to go back to platinum ashy blonde, use a purple shampoo religiously and wash my hair daily. For the past two years I had been trying to grow back my hair that was once long, thick, and healthy. And nothing was working, not even Biotin Vitamins. Ever since I started going to the Glossarie, I can go without dying my hair for 3 to 4 months. Holy Crap! Right? My last hair appointment was 40$ for a haircut. I usually have to spend over a hundred every time I go in there. The last time I spent 40$ on a haircut was maybe when I was in the 6th grade. Anyways.... It gets better! My hair that I use to wash daily, I now only wash twice a week. Once I wash it myself and the other time is at the Glossarie. But Wait.... there's more! My hair has grown significantly!!! Many people will ask me if I have extensions in because they don't believe that my hair could have possibly grown that fast.... but it did! I can now wake up, roll out of bed for work, and not have to touch my hair for 3 to 4 days. My hair is incredibly healthy and LONG! I have found myself to become a Product junkie purchasing a new IGK product every time I go in there. Courtney Steele is extremely informative when it comes to educating customers on the products that they use. Speaking of staff, they are great! I have my regular appointment weekly with the same hairstylist. I already have him scheduled out for the next two months as they have a easy app that allows you to schedule your own appointments at any time in the day and also modify your appointment if you need to! I could keep going on about how much this place has changed my life for the better. I wake up daily feeling confident and no longer embarrassed of my hair. #NoBunsNecessary I'm not usually even the type of person to write a review about a place, but I am just incredibly impressed.
