She worked on my brows until they were perfect ( again), and made sure to listen to me when I stated " I like them sharp, but thick. " ( I have naturally "dramatic shaped" eye brows) Robina was gentle, and quick and left me feeling pleasant versus raw and irritated feeling. When Robina applied the cooling lotion, she massaged it in, versus some places who just slap it on and send you on you way. When I went to go pay she gave me a Preferred customer card, and pointed out their hours. She seemed to be hurting for business, and asked me to spread the word. Which I was glad to oblige as you can see here. Not only do they do threading, they also do henna tattoos. I'll definitely be going back to this location, as I prefer threading over waxing and plucking!

Two days after (1/10) I received a voicemail stating I could call them back or go online to Vagaro to make the appointment. So I went onto this website and made the appointment for 1/25 at 9am. On 1/22 I received a message stating "Click this [link] to confirm your appointment Thu, Jan-25-2018, 09:00AM with Sophilia Kim at The Blue Lotus." I clicked it and received another notice stating it was confirmed. The day of the appointment at 7:19AM a TEXT was received stating my new time was 9:30AM then again at 8:41am it was moved again to 9:45. I had to wait for Sophlila to even open the store to go in to reschedule this appointment because I would have been late for work if I didn't start until almost 10. On 1/25 I made three appointments one for 2/2 at 10:30 (which was moved the day of to 10:45) the second appointment was made for 2/24 at 10:15 for a fill (which was just moved this Wednesday to 1pm) and a third was made for 3/9 for a fill. Not once did I receive a call before moving my appointment. The only thing I received the first time was a 30% off my fill in March since I actually had to pay for that. On Wednesday 2/21 when I received the text notice that my appointment was moved from 10:15AM to 1pm I called, someone picked up stated Sophilia was with a client but would call me back. At 4 that day still no call I called them and no answer so I left a message. The next day I went to stop there on my way to work they weren't even open so I sent them an email. No email response received STILL and still no call. I called them this morning (2/23) and left another voicemail - still no call back. At 1:16 I received yet another text stating my appointment for sat 2/24/2018 is confirmed. I called them to make sure they cancelled it and still no answer and another voicemail left. My eyelashes started falling out 10 minutes after I left and at least one-three fell out every day to the point I had the middle lashes gone by the end of week 1. I don't understand how inconsiderate they can be because my mom loves them and loves going here. It is very disappointing that this is how they are treating people and the fact that my fill was already paid for and I'm just trying to see if it can be transferred to my mom.

I originally booked an appointment just to have my cheekbones threaded, but Monica made me feel like the rest of my face needed to be threaded as well, pointing out that she could see hairs on my forehead, lower cheeks and chin. She was very insistent that I should also get those areas threaded, and I ultimately got suckered into paying for the more expensive, full-face service. I think she came too close to the hairs on my right eyebrow, as it appears shorter than my left. I also dealt with a bad rash on my chin several days after the threading, and I am still dealing with breakouts all over my face. Overall, feeling frustrated and pushed into more than I had planned to have done.
