She was able to book me a session this afternoon. I am beyond perfectionistic & I had a very bad experience at my prior salon leaving me REALLY nervous to have another stylist color my hair. Bobbie is a dream. She welcomed me right away & had a long, VERY professional conversation about where my hair was at & where I wanted it to be. She was honest, kind, caring & most importantly- made me trust her expertise & eye. I'm SO happy I did! She worked on me for 3 hours & even gave me tips on how to style my naturally curly hair, guided me towards the right products to use at home and repeatedly let me know that it's okay to ASK QUESTIONS & let her know if I had any concerns or wasn't happy with the way my hair was looking. That wasn't an issue because Bobbie did an impeccable job on my blonde balayage. She was able to blend my ends seamlessly into the partial balayage, add definition and was SUPER sweet, calm and welcoming throughout the whole service. The thing about Madison Reed is that you cannot reach the salon directly by phone, but rather speak to a corporate customer representative. So I cannot call the Summit location. I sent a text to my colorist, the manager. She will not respond. I contacted customer service via email, and the response explained that Madison Reed is not legally responsible for "damage of property" (I paid them to dye my hair, not my clothing), but they'll give me $50.00 towards a future service. As if I'd trust them with a future anything. So, no, I don't have nearly as wholesome a review as they pretend to have values.
