I've been introduced to Kelsey as a referral from my friend. It is so nice to literally know a stylist who really takes quality time to get you the hair you want the most. The consultation is so important and I feel even though it can be short, Kelsey takes that time to get a mutual understanding of what you want, and explains what she will do to get you there. It is not only helpful, it will give you realistic expectations to decide whether you wish to do what you want for your hair. It is also very educational to learn what you need to maintain the look you will achieve with her. I have done both a bunch of blonding sessions and coloring sessions with her. She has given me the blonde I've wanted (platinum blonde) every time I've gone and does it while not having my hair feel like pure death when I touch it! And I love doing crazy colors. She never fails to give me a look that will turn heads and make random people come to me to just ask where I got my hair done. Who did it for you to make you look that amazing! I love my haircut! Let me preface this by saying that I've had some real nightmare experiences with stylists doing what they want, rushing through my appointment, and being "rough" with my precious head - there's nothing worse than a stylist who forgets there's a sensitive human attached to that head they're jerking around - lol. My first cut with Kelsey was the opposite of that! She was welcoming and kind. Before the cut, she took time to consult with me about what I wanted and get a (literal) feel for my hair, my lifestyle, etc. Her energy's calming and she was gentle with my head (thank goodness!) which made for a relaxing experience. She was precise with her work and pleasant to chat with. You could tell she takes pride in what she does - and her lovely new salon space. I'm so particular about who I let touch my hair because I've had bad experiences with cuts and coloring. I went to Kelsey for a cut, balayage, and toner with hair that hadn't been colored since 2017. She NAILED IT! I showed her my inspo picks, talked about what I wanted and she was very receptive. It took me months to find a hairdresser I trusted and my roots were loooooong. Kelsey took me from ombré to amazing! I have never went with a whole bleached head but she convinced me to rock it and I'm obsessed !!! My hair has never looked so beautiful. Andrea knows EXACTLY what she's doing. I went in with a vague idea of wanting blue streaks in my hair. I described the color (very poorly) to her, and then she showed me a photo of the exact color I'd been imagining. She's like a mind reader.
