actually the worst experience ever. my hair has never been the same after coming here. Vern and her sister were so rude because I booked a partial highlight thinking that was for half the head they proceeded to tell me that they didn't have time to do half of my hair and rolled their eyes telling me I booked the wrong service instead of talking me through it or giving other options. Vern told me she could get it done as quickly as she could and I agreed since I was already there not realizing the damage she was about to do. She completely over dried my hair w the paint and heat. after washing it my hair has not been the same. It is dry brittle broken. They are careless and money hungry. Never go here!!! Hello everyone, just trying to share my nightmare experience with this salon, that I went through!!! I came to salon to make my hair look better and Nicole she completely burn my hair with this results. They charge me over $450 and then when I asked for refund Nicole, she was offering me keratin treatment over the phone and as you see from our conversation that I did my own research how bad is a keratin treatment after damaging hair so bad, so she start refusing, that she ever offer me any treatment like that and with zero compensation, instead Nickole and her sister they were threatening me to call the police and leave the place, with zero refund ....,be aware!!!' Stay away from this miserable people, because after damaging and making your hair terrible, they will kick you out from the salon with no compensation!!! read more

It was my first and final time coming here. I decided to come to GOD SALON DIVA for a blonde balayage, and I wanted to go to Vern after looking on her instagram and her work looked amazing. What I got instead in terms of the service and my hair was HORRIBLE. As I mentioned before, it was my very first time coming to this salon, first and foremost, the salon location wasn't convenient at all and it was extremely hard to find, I tried to enter the salon name in the uber app and it couldn't be found, I still took an uber and it dropped me all the way on the other side at the back of the building. I called the salon asking on where they are located and how about should I get there. The receptionist on the phone kept being rude and on top of that, yelling at me and was getting frustrated, keep in mind, I was being polite this entire time on the phone, and excuse me all I'm trying to do is get to your salon!! Second, I wanted to get a blonde balayage done (which I usually get done by my other hairstylist) and I wanted to come to Vern and she was being extremely rude and unprofessional. Basically, if you aren't a rich ass person with hair of a hair model, don't bother on coming to this salon. You can see how they treat their rich clients compared to their middle class clients. I hate to say this, but that's how it is in this salon. Moving forward, my hair was outgrown for 4 months due to quarantine and lockdown and I still wanted a balayage done. Vern kept telling me that my hair was too difficult to do and it would take too long and a bunch of other excuses and basically I couldn't get what I wanted done. She didn't listen to me AT ALL, kept rushing me and telling me " I have other clients and I don't have all day" so without listening to me she went ahead and mixed some bronde colour into my hair that I didn't ask for. My hair was brighter going in than going out of the salon. Plus, my hair was stripy and was damaged. Just an FYI, this salon doesn't use any type of hair bonder for your hair so it doesn't get damaged such as Olaplex or Colorplex for their lightening service, which they should. Truly a money grabber's salon and a lot of the workers in there have a snobby attitude and they clearly survive off of their rich privileged clientele that go there. If it weren't for those clients they have, I'm sure they wouldn't be in business till this day. The only person that gave me a good experience at this salon was their assistant named Cassandra. She was the only one who treated me with proper respect, she gave me nice beach waves as well! Just a note for the owner and hairdressers of this salon: let your workers know to treat every client that comes into your salon with the same and equal respect for all of your clients, actually give your time to listen to what your client wants, not what is more convenient to you, also don't damage people's hair coming out of the salon and expecting them to pay for their service. That's all I gotta say. Don't come here for your hair services and needs. Go to a different salon that actually listens to you and one that will actually treat you with respect. read more

WAY OVER PRICED. I went in wanting my hair lighter. I am already a natural blonde and just wanted it to be a few shades lighter. I book my appointmen with Vern after looking at her instagram, all she did was bleach my hair and had so younger girls color, wash and style it ( Vern even left half way through the appointment) at the end I paid over $400 and my hair is not much different. I went to this salon despite what ppl say about this place that the staff is full of attitude. It is true, this salon gives off a vibe as if the girls that are working there are doing you a favour by doing your hair and answering any questions you may have about your hair. It's like their tight-lipped about giving any pointers on the maintenance after-care for your hair except to purchase they're products. I did my hair with VERN. She can barely say how are you and lacks simple customer service. She justifies her high prices because she takes a lot of time to do the hair. In the meantime she mixed color, put it on and she's done. The rest of the time someone else is washing me, toning, doing roots, blow drying and styling. I showed her a photograph of what I wanted and asked if she could obtain those results. With a whole lot of confidence and without a doubt she said yes. Well when my hair was done it was nothing close to what we agreed upon. When I told her I was unhappy with my hair she refused to fix it without me spending more money at the salon. All they care about is money, not your hair or if the customer is satisfied. I was already $300 in the hole at this point with something I didn't ask for. She then replied by saying I should know it's a "process" to achieve the look I want. So her story changed after my hair came out looking nothing like I wanted. Had she originally explained to me that it's a process and why, I would have expected I may just not get the hair color I want that day. I'm not a hairdresser I am a customer, why or how am I supposed to know this?? That's why she's the "professional" and I'm not. Afterwards she kept contradicting herself. I purchased some products from the salon upon leaving and had a few questions and it seemed as though no one wanted to be bothered even listening. VERN's sister Nicole gave me so much attitude just for asking about the up-keep of my hair that she stood up and started walking away. The salon doats over their "regular" customers by complimenting their hair and making sure they photograph their hair. At the end of all this I am left with less $300 and less my time I took to go to this salon. I decided to return my un-used shampoo but before I got my money back they had to measure with another bottle of shampoo to see if I actually used some rather then just trusting that I told them I never did use any. If you want to get your hair done I strongly recommend not going to this salon. If you do you will have to eat up your pride as they treat you like their better than you. If your not happy with your hair you can reach back into your wallet. They are extremely overpriced and lack customer service. A note to the owner and all her fellow employees that work at this salon.. it doesn't take much to be on the same level as your customers whom are the ppl that keep you in business. If you have to fix the odd customers hair to keep them returning to your salon.. you do it. Simple business tips. If you think you don't give off this vibe read your other reviews and maybe do a workshop on how to treat customers! I know I will never return and sadly it's not just about my hair, it's about the attitude at this salon. Customer service is huge because after all word of mouth is what keeps a successful business thriving. It's not everything but hey when they couldn't even do hair then you gotta think why would I go to a salon that is way overpriced, no customer service, and can't achieve hair goals!?! There is not a rating low enough to describe this salon. The service was beyond unprofessional, the ambiance was like being in a low rent dive of a basement type feel. The owner Verne is one of the rudest so called business owners I've met. Her prices are outrageous at $350 for hair color/highlights, and the staff lack any bit of talent. I'm sure the outcome at a cheap salon would far outweigh the results you'd receive at Diva Salon, and you'd actually receive a much warmer welcome no doubt. I have never had such a horrible experience in a salon before. The price for highlights was absolutely outrageous - $320 ++. My top was destroyed by the bleach or whatever they use. They did not return my calls when I called to complain. The atmosphere in the salon is absolutely deadly - nobody talks - and I mean nobody. Trying to have a friendly conversation with the owner was like pulling teeth. She made it very clear she was not interested in talking to me. All the other stylists were the same too. I had the absolute worst experience at this salon. When I got there I sat down for my consultation with Valeria and I showed her a picture of a white blonde & ash grey balayage. I explained to her that I liked the icy blond and ash colour dimension together. She told me she understood but cautioned me that I may not get as light as the picture at this time because lightening is a staging process which I already knew because I've been going through this process for years. She asked me if I wanted to keep my roots I said yes. She then proceeds to aggressively tease my whole head as she does her work. Side note- their internet sucks and I was left with no magazines and no distraction as I was left alone for the 2 hours I spent waiting for my hair to get bleached. They wash my hair and I have me sit in the sink chair with my neck slightly tilted back so my hair stayed in the sink for an additional 30 minutes while my hair is being toned. Then they try to brush out all of my teased hair which is the most painful process I've ever been through at a salon. She dries & styles it and $260 (plus a $60 tip and I bought products from the salon) later I am sent on my way home. I don't notice until 3 days in when I wash & dry my hair that underneath has turned completely copper and the whole shade of my head is a gross orange brassy colour. I message her a picture of what I found and she has me come in and tells me that she left in my OLD colour for dimension!! I'm sorry but I am no hair dresser and I wasn't aware that dimension meant leaving in your old colour, not creating some new shades. My own ignorance and I've paid for it greatly. I'm extremely disappointed that my old colour and new colour look absolutely horrible together and it was not blended well at all. I also left with the EXACT same amount of grow out I came in with (I know I asked to keep my roots, I didn't mean ALL of my root). The owner tried to call me to discuss what had happened but instead of hearing me out she just shoved her opinion down my throat and did not want to listen to me at all.
