My hair was done by the owner, Ramona, and when I was there I was quoted a price between $50 to $55 dollars between no conditioner or deep conditioning. I agreed to the price of $55 for deep conditioning. This was for a wash, blowdry, straighten and curl which is my norm. In the middle of my hair washing, Ramona wanted to increase the price on me within the middle of my appointment, which I did not appreciate and I told her that we had agreed to a set price in the beginning of the appointment and as a customer it would be unfair to me having a price hike in the middle of getting my hair done. Luckily, she didn't press any further. During the process, she seemed frustrated and was really rough with my hair. I have been to this salon before and have had the other hair stylists work on my hair and they were never as rough as her. My hair was pulled roughly so that it ended up hurting,I kept getting jammed by her nails multiple times in the face, and got burned a few times while doing my hair. I understand that this may happen on occasion but this is the first time that this happened so frequently and this was my first time with Ramona doing my hair. The other hair stylists working there were not rough at all and have always been so gentle during the hair services that I receive. I am pretty sure that they were speaking ill of customers in Spanish which I did not appreciate at all. Also, another thing that I did not appreciate is that I was set to the side mid-way of my appointment so that she could first off another customer who had come after me and came to her appointment late! I was a bit annoyed at that as the process was about a good 40 minute wait to work on this customer's hair. She charged this customer only $40 dollars and whispered this to the customer for the same hair services that I was receiving! When she was finished with the customer, she started it back on me and kept on complaining to me how long it was taking to do my hair. I have been to this hair salon, and it always has taken about 3.5 hours for them to finish and style my hair and even this time it was the same. It would have been much shorter if I didn't have to wait the extra 40 minutes for her to style someone else's hair. By the time that I was finished, Ramona told me to my face that the next time I come in here that it wouldn't be $55 but $70 right inside her shop with other customers present. Did you not forget that I also waited midway during my appointment, I have my frustrations too? Overall I did not appreciate this experience with her and I believe it shall be the first and last time having her style my hair. For the record, I myself work in a career in customer service, I am respectful towards all the people I encounter in the nature of my work and at no point was I ever rude to the hair stylist and owner, Ramona, nor did I show points of annoyance with the wait and the roughness while styling my hair. Word of advice, Ramona, please treat all your customers fairly, equally and most importantly respectfully! I feel like you can definitely leave a thing or two by the service that your other staff provides and please follow suit! Normally, I would leave a tip, but due to this poor customer service, I just couldn't tip since I was not provided good customer service by you. However, overall, I thank you for doing my hair. Salon Anna Noelle is a beautiful, super clean shop with the most friendly staff. Immediately I felt at ease. The decor is lovely and welcoming. Anna is nothing short of incredible. I showed her a photograph, and Anna knew exactly how to make it work for me. It's not merely a hair style ~ it's a true cut so when recreating the style at home, it falls into place. I actually came back to the salon about 20 minutes after my appointment because the haircut was uneven, and I told you in person that I hated it. It didn't look like any of the photos I showed you -- I asked for long, blended layers - the length to be 2" below my collarbone, and instead my hair was cut into a much shorter bob. The result is at least 5" shorter than what I requested, and the bottom 3" of my hair is very frizzy from the thinning shears. I never get the bottom of my hair layered nor did the pictures I showed you have that style. You also charged me $240 instead of the $160 I was quoted for root color, highlight touch-up, and a haircut -- a 50% upcharge that you said was for extra product. It doesn't make sense that all three services cost $160, but "extra product" alone cost $90 more. This is not blackmail. I waited months hoping you would make it right, but nothing was done. In the meantime, I've had to spend hundreds of dollars on products and tools trying to manage a haircut I didn't ask for -- one I will now be stuck with for a year while it grows out. My review reflects my honest experience so others know what to expect. I would have gladly refrained from posting a review or updated it if my concerns had been handled professionally.

For those of you familiar with the area it is just passed the football field where Burlington city highschool plays games ( or did in my youth). They have flexible hours and will even come in on a Sunday or Monday! This is nearly unheard of in hair care circles. The salon is spacious and clean. They have about 4 sinks, 4 dryers and a tanning bed. They also have relaxing touches like a coffee machine, cold water, a couch, movies, and magazines. It has a vibe that says, "stay a while." In regard to the styling experience they use high quality products: I got Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner and jane carter styling products. They also had a bunch of shea moisture products and some kinky curly products. While i was there they were also experimenting with some of my favorite products including heena, dabur vatika coconut oil, and rose water. My hair loves natural things so this was a treat for me! In addition to the nice products they also had respect for people's time. While it is (of course) best to make an appointment they also take walk-ins. For those with an appointment you don't linger endlessly while they work on multiple people. Instead you get asked questions such as " how do you wear your hair," "how do you maintain your hair" etc. You get enough individual attention to feel heard. As a rollerset girl for life, I decided to branch out and get a twist out done. Sadly I remembered why I rollerset: TWIST TAKE FOREVER TO DRY. I can only do short stints under the dryer. But my stylist was kind enough to pin the twist into a style and invite me back the next day to have my hair styled. I was able to go out and enjoy my day and let my hair air dry. The next day I returned and was shown different options and allowed to pick how I wanted my hair styled. Overall I was very pleased with my experience.
