They can guide you with what services and beds are best for you if you're looking for advice. But I especially love that they have seen me at my WORST and I've never felt an ounce of judgement which is amazing since I have been to so many salons where I feel otherwise. The salon is always spotless. The beds are all high levels and you are pretty much guaranteed to leave bronzed and beautiful. If there is a line for the beds, they have so many other services you can do in the meantime while you wait. I literally love this place so much and highly highly recommend it

I had 3 different email chains with various salon workers until Jean Tretheway got a hold of me. She proceeded to scream at me over the phone about how it was rude to get a refund because someone spent time on my hair already. (um...WHAT?!?) she also told me that my hair would grow back and then she screamed that I was not a good fit for the salon when I had frequented for years to have Hannah color my hair (Hannah was the best and did not do this haircut). Avoid Shear Design at all costs. A word of advise to the owner, Jean - the managing director of the salon - should probably be put through SEVERAL customer service trainings. You can imagine my panic of who was I going to find in the mountains right? BECKY at Salon E. She actually did a color correction after I made the mistake of going to a 'high end' stroudsburg shop. Becky took her time, was very meticulous, and patient. She even corrected the cut I got. I didn't feel rushed or like the shop was just trying to fill the chairs. The hair washing was important as well, she got in in scalp and scrubbed. Some places it feels like they don't even get down to the scalp. They take their time and the styling was also important. Becky took her time to dry a section at a time and curl. I loved it. Shop is small but very cute. And what they may not have in the size of the shop they certainly have in skill. Definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed.
