Absolutely enjoyed my first waxing experience at Radiant Waxing. I've been looking for a waxing studio that uses Soft Wax and had experience employees. I booked a Brazilian wax via their website and for new customers you received 50% off your first wax. I thought why not try it out. The ease of booking online was great and I liked that there were time slots available for my needs. My appointment was with Michele and she made me feel so comfortable from checkin. She has many years of experience and gave me great breathing techniques to get through those moments (ladies you know what I'm talking about!!) she was really easy to talk through and even asked about my prior experience. This is the first time in a long time where my Brazilian was tolerable and I attribute that to the soft wax but also my waxer. This place discontinued the service they were offering to me after being a loyal customer for years and spending thousands of dollars at their establishment. They called to cancel my appointment with one day's notice, leaving me a cheery voicemail, apologizing for any inconvenience . Management never returned my phone calls when I called repeatedly asking to speak with somebody. And they continue to send me emails, reminding me to book an appointment for service they no longer offer. I have heard from former employees that management treats them poorly, messes with their schedule and has no respect for keeping customers aligned with the person who you have established a relationship with. To me this demonstrates a disregard both of their employees and their customers. I understand that businesses can choose to make decisions based on a variety of factors. I am not writing this review based on their decision. I am writing this review based on their handling of their decision, which, in my opinion could not have more poorly. Before all of this, I was happy with the establishment for years. i'm sure there are good people that work there who provide great service. So in under a week I've gone here twice and had two wonderful experiences. First I saw Amanda for my brows, nostrils and lip. She did an amazing job and was super diligent. Asked me tons of questions and made sure I was happy with how everything looked. She was so sweet and personable and the session went super quick just because we chatted through it! Today I saw Annette for my Brazilian. A new person can always make you nervous for that but Annette was so great. She chatted with me the entire time, went super quick but also paid attention to detail, and helped me with some stubborn ingrowns. It takes a lot for me to go on here and write a bad review, but when I do, I feel it's necessary. I've been to the Morristown location at least once every 1-2 months over the last 2 years, and each time I've been, the service is more rushed, careless, and inconsistent. The woman I had earlier on left after a few months, and ever since then I haven't been satisfied with the services. I keep going back because I hope one of the waxologists there will be better than the last, but they aren't. It's hard to leave a wax review without adding TMI details, but I've left the studio with wax still on my skin, hair not completely removed, and the process is more painful than it needs to be because they rush. I was in there for 10 minutes when a proper wax would have taken at least 20-25. I've been to the Lunchbox in Westfield and the service is much better and the waxologists are much more careful and considerate. Today was my last visit with the Morristown location. Convenience isn't worth it over proper care and treatment of your skin. read more

The staff was very friendly and took me even though I was running late for my appointment. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because my Brazilian was incomplete. Great place to receive a full upper-body wax, at least coming from the hairy male perspective. The staff is super-friendly and accommodating. Virtually every waxologist I've ever had there has been incredibly sincere and thorough. On that note, I would recommend Annette. Although, I must say, the prices are rather high. Bethany was amazing. It was my first time getting anything but my eyebrows done, and she made me feel really at ease. I told her it was my first time and she totally walked me through the process, pausing periodically to make sure I was okay and wanted to keep with my plan (full bare). The facility is very clean and modern, the products are fine for sensitive skin, and there were no weird moments. Prices were also very reasonable, and the payment process is all electronic so no random receipt to be found in my purse. I will definitely go back. read more

I was super nervous about my first Brazilian in a while. Esther was great explains everything but quick and semi painless. I don't feel pressure to buy any products which is nice. I told them about my upcoming vacation and how I thought I'd need a touch up before the trip. Esther marked in my profile that if I need to go back nadir the date of my trip the touch up is free. That's great customer service! I will definitely go back for future Brazilian waxes and all other waxing needs. I took it upon my self to by the body buff exfoliant and LOVE it! It's amazing! I did not have an appointment and went in to see if they could take me for a brow wax. Everyone was so friendly and the shop is so clean! The front desk associate was able to fit me in with Ariel. I explained to her that my brows were botched at another salon, so she took the time to show me how she would wax my brows. I am very upset with lunchbox waxing. The service was absolutely amazing and I loved the lady who gave me the wax. However, I booked my appointment online because it was my first time in. With their checkout deal, there was a buy one, get one. After I booked online, my final price was $58. However, when I came in, I was charged the full $106! They blamed the system, but this was unacceptable. It was fault in their system and I budgeted out for half of what I had to pay. Im very very upset about this because it was false advertising and I will not be back in for a "free" wax in 6 weeks because I only wanted the one time deal and I will not be in town. If they had disclosed this information before the waxing started, I would not have been upset nor would I have gotten what I did. I would recommend them otherwise. Great service! Had very good experiences here until recently. I had an appointment on Sunday at 4:30PM to get my eyebrows waxed which I booked on the Friday before. I had work in Hoboken until 3PM but was staying with family in Morristown on Sunday night so I figured I would go on my way back from work before I was scheduled to meet with family. They called me on Sunday (the day of my appt) at 12:30PM to ask if I could come in earlier (i.e. 3:45PM) because I was their last appointment for the day and they wanted to leave early, to which I replied that I would try. As it turned out, I couldn't get out of work any earlier than 3PM and the traffic was horrible, so I called them at 3:30PM (before my "early" appointment) and left a message to see if I could still come at my original appointment time. I tried to call back three more times in the next 20 mins and there was no answer. It is now almost a week later and I still don't have an answer to my message. If they were hoping to close early on Sunday, I would have expected to receive a phone call at least a day in advance to leave time for me to rearrange my schedule. I would also not want to be the "last customer" of someone on a Sunday who was waxing my eyebrows and was itching to leave. I will not be rescheduling my appointment here due to this inconvenience. read more

I love this salon! I usually can walk in any time without an appointment and get my eyebrows done. I find it a bit more expensive than getting them done at the nail salon though, but thats ok because the whole place is clean, well lit (so you can see how clean it is!), and everyone is really friendly and professional. This place is a little pricey but well worth it for the clean, pleasant environment and talented "waxologists." Alanna is my go-to for eyebrows.
