The salon is very clean, and calm. They play a good mix of music from all over the place. To me, it has been worth every penny I've paid to see my color be exactly what I want it to be. When you go and you want your hair colored a specific way, come in with an open mind and she will guide you the rest of the way. Got a last second appointment with Tawny. I was traveling to the area for work, and needed a new cut and fresh color. Tawny knew I wouldn't be a repeat customer, but took a lot of time to explain the process to get the color I wanted, and what it would cost ahead of time. She took a lot of time to style it perfectly as well, blow drying and pinning up rolled curls...which I really appreciated as I find this can often be where stylists want to cut corners and rush you out the door. The environment is really lovely, and all of the stylists seemed very warm. They have a little clothing and accessories shop to peak at while you wait. Fun place to get your hair done, highly recommend it! read more

Shannon did THE WORST hair color on me, I left the salon nearly in tears, I came in with virgin hair, and she practically destroyed my hair. Before she started I showed her at least 4 pictures of what I wanted, I explained to her what I wanted and if she could do what i wanted and she said she could, I was very specific of how I wanted my hair to look and specifically how I wanted the color and style. She did some sort of balayage, poorly blended, absolutely NOTHING like I wanted. When she was done she didn't even ask me if I liked it! She gave the mirror for a second and pushed me out of her chair, she couldn't get me out of there fast enough and she charged me $135 for it! A beauty school student would have done a better job. Now I have to pay someone else so fix it. Worst part is I have to wear my hair in a bun until it's fixed it looks so bad, I'm embarrassed to wear my hair down. read more

If I try a different person it seems to take awhile or a few visits-- in the end I see Samatha who knows my preferences and cow licks. Salon EllaPar was the only salon I found that had someone do my hair exactly as I wanted it every time I had it cut. Was so happy to find them. Went back today for first cut after the state's Covid-19 restrictions were lifted. No one mentioned via text or on the phone there is now a Covid-19 sanitizing surcharge. It was't until I went up to pay I discovered the $10 extra fee. A bit of a shock and I certainly can't afford $50 hair cuts. My friends go elsewhere and they don't have these fees. I understand the need to do a little extra, but $10 a customer seems a bit much. Can it really cost hundreds a day to sanitize? read more

Although I am very satisfied with my hair stylist and color and cut I was quite unhappy with the $10 surcharge per client fee for the disinfecting and sanitizing. No other business that I have gone to has done this. In the hour and half I was at your salon at least 8 to 10 clients were there so you made $80 to $100. Hand sanitizer and disinfect first of all doesn't cost that much. Plus I give a 20% tip and so you actually got $12 dollars as the fee is integrated into the total! In a time that many are unemployed you should be ashamed of yourself! Shame on you! You have lost a client. read more

What a great place! I'm new to the area. I tried 2 other places for a simple one-step color and 1 other place for a simple bikini wax before trying this place. I am so happy that I tried it! My hair appointment was with Shannon. It was so nice to be able to get an appointment quickly and not have to wait weeks to get my hair colored. Shannon is so sweet and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable, and her work was wonderful. I will be a regular customer with Shannon!! For the bikini wax, my appointment was with Melissa. All I can say is... Best Bikini Wax EVER!! The room was cool and relaxing with spa music playing. It was the most painless wax job that I have ever had. I will be a regular customer with Melissa, as well! I have been there twice. The first time, I would describe my experience as "meh"... nothing bad, just nothing great either. I paid $45 dollars plus tip for an ok haircut that honestly, was completely unnoticeable. So, the second time, I brought a picture of what I wanted. The girl looked at the picture once and said she knew exactly what I wanted. She was so confident, that I really didn't question anything while she was cutting. Well, I should have. She cut off WAY more than we talked about. It was supposed to be to the shoulder and it ended up barely below the chin. The cut is ok for someone else, but not at all what I wanted. I can't even put it in a ponytail until it grows out because it's too short. I take half the blame for not paying more attention. But, I probably won't go back. Sorry, but I gave it two tries and I was not impressed. I did however get a really cute top in the Boutique. read more

A hidden gem in Saint Marys!!! I had the best massage and facial of my life. Christina is the BEST masseuse on the planet. Already made an appt to see her again! I have lived with back pain for the last 15 years to the point where I forgot what it felt like to not have pain until today. I'm thankful I found her!! And my facial was great too!
