In this case, the expert colorist doctored my thirty-something sprouting grays back to my 'natural' twenty-something high/low lights. Then the stylist cut to precision: just within my safety zone--tastefully tweaked with enough style to stay on trend without conforming to fad--well inside regret (i.e. My Jennifer Aniston circa 1995 mistake). The colorists and stylists here are true masters in their field. There's clearly a lot of training and experience behind their work. I'm hard-pressed to prebook more than 2 weeks out, so I jump around per availability. Recommendations: Dawn, Judy, Jeff (Color) and Kelly, Helen, Cyndi (Style). Bottom line, I consistently leave a better looking me (obvious talent). But it's not just about beauty, balance is equally important--from the get go. Mind your own first impression: the receptionist greets you by name, asks about your last trip, then ensures you're legally parked. "Thanks, Stephanie. Yes, I will leave my worries at the door." Then it's ME TIME: relax, be comfortably silent or chat pleasant conversation, soak up the spa-like ambiance, faint coffee-house music, head massage, hot tea or cucumber water (and secretly flirt with lash extensions). While you're at it, Beauty & Balance, toss me a terrycloth robe, slippers, and wrap my satin sheets to go!

Then we walked in and handed our Groupons to the receptionist which was also the hair stylist. My cousin and I flipped through the binder with magazine clippings to get an idea on what we want. She pointed to a honey blonde color and the lady told us that she can only dye our hair a dark color because our hair was long and it won't cover my cousin's "gray hair". I told her our Groupon stated Coloring/Highlighting. She explained she won't honor it because they will only dye it dark and we had long hair. It didn't state anything like that on our Groupon! The end result was TERRIBLE. My cousin's hair was tri-colored (honey blonde on top and red all over with black spots) My hair, was fine. Although, you can't even tell I got my hair dyed as it was just a brown color and 4 strands of highlighted hair. Bad service. Won't honor Groupon. Not worth saving the $30. Go somewhere else.

I went to Salon Fusion for the first time in December of 2017. I've been to A LOT of different salons in the area over the years, and let me tell you, this one is incredible! My stylist was Robyn, and she exceeded my expectations!!! I walked in feeling really down and out about myself, but I left with a renewed confidence! I was lost, and didn't know what I wanted to do with my hair, so I left it 1000% in Robyn's hands. I told her to cut it however she felt would look best with my face, hair type, age, etc. Needless to say, she did not disappoint! I looked, and felt, better than I have in years!!! I definitely didn't feel or look like a mom of four boys! I could go on and on for centuries, but there are honestly no words to describe the amount of talent that she has! If I was rich, I would hire her to be my daily personal stylist in a heartbeat! I've seen some of her styles and updos...Gorgeous!!! She should be styling at Paris Fashion Week!!!!! Robyn is also the sweetest person you will ever meet! So easy to talk to, like you've known each other for years! That awkward silence that happens during a shampoo/cut/style, yeah, not going to happen!Smiling and laughing will occur though, I can guarantee that! BUCKLE IN. I've been going to Teddie's for the last couple of years for haircuts for no particular reason. The atmosphere there is always cold and depressing and the stylists don't seem happy... I came to Salon Fusion for my cut and color, and I felt a positive energy between all the employees. I was greeted warmly and everyone was so friendly and made me feel comfortable. There was absolutely no arrogance in the air My haircut is the best haircut I've had in TEN YEARS. Kat is seriously incredible. She took a classic popular 70's style and brought it back to life, making it fit me perfectly. She was very detail-oriented and energetic, I swear there's no way you're not going to leave her chair unhappy! My hair color is my DREAM COME TRUE. Dylan is a true artist!! I asked for blue / mermaid hair, and it came out above and beyond what I could have imagined. He was so focused and took his time to make sure everything was PERFECT. I recently got my hair cut by stylist Katharina and got it colored/my makeup done by Jill, from boring brown long hair to now a trendy, short, rose gold blonde. I LOVE it. I was really afraid to cut my hair short, but what Katharina did with it is beautiful, it sits absolutely perfect even without blowdry/curl and is exactly what I wanted. She is also such a lovely person to talk to. The color is great as well, I've gotten a lot of compliments on it because it's so unique. Would totally come again and get my hair done by both of them. I've been consistently impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the desire to make sure that all customers' needs are met, and the fact that I have never had a bad haircut and have always walked out not only satisfied, but genuinely happy with the way my hair looks. I absolutely love Lola at Salon Fusion for color. She's so talented. And Robyn for cut. They are both excellent at what they do. I've had the Keratin treatment there as well and plan on doing it again in the Spring. The whole Salon is well-run, they have a "customer comes first" attitude in every way, from front desk to stylists to the owners. I have been EXTREMELY comfortable going there during Covid-19 with the precautions they are taking.
