After all the good things I've heard, I was frustrated to have such a bad experience. Only real welcoming person was the woman who washed my hair. My haircut was awful. I'm spending upwards of $90 again 3 weeks later getting it fixed elsewhere. I heard they have some very talented colorists and I've seen what they've done so that's why I'm still leaving a few stars. read more

I highly recommend Salon Fusion in Wilmette! The staff is friendly and greets me by name when I check in. They ask my about my service upon check out. Julie Park has been cutting my hair for a few years - she gives a great cut! She is fun and edgy and knows how to cut my curly hair so I can wear it natural or blow it out. And she's super friendly! I love her cuts. Briann does my color - she is helping me embrace my grey hair growing in, adding hi-lights and low-lights to "blend" my greys. I love my color! i went in today for a color correction consultation, and told my stylist that i wanted my hair to be a light brown and get rid of my red tones in my hair and i did not want to do the correction if my hair was going to be redder, which he told me that he could tone out if it was. I left with very red hair and my scalp is severely damaged. My scalp is tender to touch with two weird red marks on scalp right above my neck. They were very nice but as for my hair and scalp it is very damaged and not at all what they promised me. read more

Just had an amazing blowout with Jessica again! Jessica is an expert at blow drying my thick hair. I attended a wedding in Maryland and my hair looked great the entire weekend. Although I was pleased with Frankie...I was not too happy with outcome from Julie...Not because she wasn't sweet...the language barrier seemed to be a problem..I continued to tell her "NOT TOO SHORT PLEASE"...It was too short...anyway..for an $82.00 haircut and a $15.00 TIP..I told the girl when I checked out ( I looked for her name on the receipt) that she didn't always understand me..the checkout girl took a yellow small POST-IT note and wrote something...I wasn't sure what she wrote..BUT.. I asked..she said she was going to tell Julie when somebody might encounter a language barrier Julie should come ask someone in the salon..THAT WAS AFTER THE FACT..the girl just said she was sorry...NOT good enough for me..I adore Frankie but my next visit will be back to my last girl that cut my hair at a DIFFERENT salon... read more

I got the full Keratin treatment with Briann and it turned out AMAZING. I put off getting it because it is pricey everywhere, but I couldn't take my frizzy mess anymore. I finally relented because I was going to southern Florida in August. I washed my hair as usual, put a dollop of cream in it and brushed it. That's it! I let it air dry in the Florida heat and it's Marcia Brady strait and frizz free! It's so great!! I just need to keep it out of the saltwater. read more

I give this salon zero stars. I went in for highlights and left the salon with hair darker than when I came in. I was told to "wait for my first wash" to see results. After two washes and even a week in the sun, there was no difference in my hair color. After reaching out to the manager, I received a disingenuous and dismissive response, denying any fault and offering no compensation for the inconvenience and subpar service provided. I was told to go out and buy more products to fix it or return to the salon, after they can now no longer be trusted. I will not patronize this salon again. read more

They paired me with Ann & I can say ANN is my go to, she does it all, color, cut, styling. She is friendly, gentle, knowledgeable about what's good for your hair, & I always leave happy.
