We checked in after 5pm, and it was pleasantly quiet; most guests were in the common area lounging or eating, with very few people in the baths or saunas. If you're looking for a low-key visit, a Monday evening seems ideal. My husband had a great time, and we wrapped up with a meal at the café. They then assign you a small locker for your shoes and then you go inside to the gender specific locker rooms where you have a larger locker. They issue you a uniform that you need to wear while in the common areas so you need to change into that in the locker room. Since the locker rooms are gender specific, all baths within that area require full nudity (I did not participate in those but I heard they were wonderful). Any service like mud bath and scrubs require full nudity and you can sign up online or right inside the locker room. If nudity isn't your thing, there are still plenty of things to do (just no bath stuff). In the common area, all genders intermingle and there are 5 different saunas will all different temperatures and all different themes. They have a sleeping room (which is also used for a nice yoga class), lounge chairs, a common sitting area, a cafe, and a small eatery. You can rent games at the cafe for free and the cafe has a huge menu of both healthy and indulgent treats. You can sign up for different massages, facial, hair, or foot treatments right in the common area. I do suggest signing up for these services online beforehand because they fill up quickly (all services are an extra charge and automatically add an 18% gratuity). We spent about 7 hours here with a group of 7 people and we wish we had more time. I do wish that they had proper showers inside with curtains and/or a changing area for those of us that are a little shy. Staff was friendly and we'll definitely be back. Afternoon got crowded so I would suggest going earlier in the day if you're going on a weekend.

Shortly after, they called back and informed me that they only had one masseuse available and would no longer be able to accommodate the couples massage we had specifically booked. I find this extremely unprofessional and disappointing. If they knew they were unable to honor the reservation, I feel they should have notified me at least a week in advance rather than waiting until only two days before the appointment. At that point, finding another couples massage appointment elsewhere was extremely difficult, especially for such an important occasion. Unfortunately, this completely ruined plans I had made for our one-year anniversary. I understand that unexpected circumstances can happen, but the lack of communication and the extremely late notice were unacceptable. I would not recommend booking here for a special occasion, as there is no guarantee that your reservation will actually be honored. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.

And, wouldn't you know it, making an appointment to see Lucy was to guarantee Jennifer would be waiting for me. Wouldn't you know it, I arrive and who is waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs? Jennifer. Due to the stiffness in my back and the tightness of my leg muscles, I had a real difficult time negotiating the stairs. As I was making my way down the stairs, I made a mental note to self to make sure Jennifer spent extra time on my calf, thigh and back muscles followed by some mild stretching to make sure my muscles were relaxed enough to climb back up those formidable stairs once the massage was over.
