I guess because of the hours, there is one girl manning the phones... and also, Zuzanna is pretty booked, but I'm glad one was accommodated. Parking lot is shared and a little tiny, but I believe there is on the street parking (on the side). Aesthetically pleasing and very clean inside..The only issue that I had and almost made me walk out was my beginning experience.. not really warm and fuzzy when I entered in for the first time. I was told that I really needed to make my appt right at 5:45, so I was shocked when I hadn't gotten seen until at least 30 mins later with no check in from the front... just when I was about to leave (had limited time to begin with), Zuzanna called me in.... from there my experience was on the up and up. Very professional, warm with just enough conversation, yet intensely thorough and in control of the process. It seemed as though I was in and out and she did a fabulous job! I have to write an even MORE raving review. I just recently turned 30, and have been feeling hella old. My hair color from my last salon, well, I felt it aged me. It was this warm blonde color and was a very rooted look. I never really loved it but my old hairdresser insisted it was perfect for me due to my age and complexion. Unlike the previous salon, Larissa took my image of what I wanted during my consultation and made it into a reality, and assessed whether it'd suit my skin tone and everything. She even added a shadow root (her image) to make it look more seamless as it grows. Such a difference that even my mother and father in law liked it and could tell a noticeable change in my hair (words like softer, healthier, more blended.) And they used to HATE my blonde hair. :-O The first time I came in, she fixed my "heavy" layers and I haven't had a bad hair day since. Def my forever hair salon and hairdresser now. I see great reviews of her on this website. She did great work, but they decided to get rid of her anyway AND EWC did not even have the courtesy to sign off on her paper to submit to the state to obtain her license. The requirement for this is 1 month; she was employed almost 7. The state requirement is to work for 1 month and be proficient in "temporary hair removal". The state form does not mention anything about how much she needed to sell or pre-book. Shame on EWC. They take advantage of their employees. She never called out; she covered other peoples shifts; even sometimes did not take breaks in which she almost passed out one day. I am filing a complaint with the State......stay tuned. Oh and did I mention that there was no accruals for sick time on her pay stubs. I thought sick time was for full time and part time employees.....

YES minutes. I didn't make it past the washing before storming out of the salon with my hair dripping wet. It wasn't until I got home and took a shower that I realized she shampooed my hair with BLEACH because my eyes were on FIRE. I had never seen ADELA before, but she reassured me that she could work with my hair type, which WAS thick and curly. Little did I know, this woman would take vengeance upon my scalp. As she scrubbed my hair with pounds of shampoo (my hair was clean mind you) she dug her nasty fingernails into my scalp even after I made it very clear that she was hurting me. My once luscious, black, bouncy curls are now thin, frayed, and dry. My ends are red and my overall head is a light brown with blonde wire streaks. NOT TO MENTION THE CHEMICAL BURNS induced by BLEACH being rigorously scrubbed against my scalp and HAIRLINE. Who knows if my hair will grow back since she killed it at the roots, but one thing is for sure--GOD was on my side when I stood up and left with wet sopping hair. Never even got the blowout, but I'm sure ADELA would have loved to finish the job with hair pulling and hot ironing tools. One piece of advice, NEVER trust a stranger with your hair and ALWAYS follow your instincts when you feel something isn't right. Getting your hair done should never be painful.

Upon arrival at 9:30 a.m., two staff members escorted us to begin the massage services. Shortly after the massage began, the therapists offered several "enhancements," including lavender oil, lemon oil, and hot stones, priced at $30, "discounted" to $20. In my experience, massage oil has always been included as part of the service, so I found it unusual and disruptive to be upsold during a relaxation treatment. During the facial portion, the esthetician asked when I last received a facial. After I responded, she immediately recommended a "derma facial" due to dryness, priced at $100, discounted to $50. She then pointed out dark spots and suggested laser treatment at $20 per spot, which I declined. The continuous upselling made the experience feel more like a sales pitch than a spa visit. At checkout, I was surprised to learn that I owed an additional $96, on top of the $180 already paid. I was also not informed that a third staff member would be performing part of the facial service. When it came time to tip, I provided $20 each for the 3 therapists ($60 total). I was then told that the staff member who worked on my daughter should receive an additional tip, so I added $15 more. While I do not mind paying for services, I strongly believe that all pricing, add‑ons, and staffing details should be clearly explained before the service begins. Transparency is essential, especially in a spa environment where clients expect relaxation rather than unexpected charges or persistent upselling.
