Had my hair cut and colored many times and always have had amazing results. At one point I even decided to get bangs (which was a big deal) and she cut exactly how I wanted. Also have referred friends and family to her who have said nothing but fantastic things. One of my best friends had her hair botched at a different salon and walked in to Salon 675 the same day, crying, and said she fixed her previous terrible haircut and couldn't be happier. Sadly my family and I have moved to Arizona but whenever I'm in town I plan to stop in. Would definitely recommend!

Sam Martirano Salon hands down was my first pic. My service began with Anamaria who was beyond amazing in guiding me in choosing a hair process color and or a style for the festivities. My plan was to dye my entire hair one color and she pointed out that a roof touch up would be a better choice since I had natural highlights and they would be covered if I did an entire hair service. She has a great eye for style and really was comfortable working with my hair texture. She shared her experience of working in the Ms. world beauty pageant competitions and doing the hair of contestants. Hands down, Anamaria is very talented. I highly recommend her. My next stop was Jackie. She did waxing, eye brow tinting, and provided a skin consult and was able to identify I had an allergy to retinol products. She told me what to do the night before my event, and just like that, my skin appeared almost back to normal for the event I was attending. All the staff here is very well trained and attentive to your needs. If you need a quality salon. This is your go to.

Sam was my primary colorist for the day. I'd sent images of my hair & screenshots of the look I wanted & it was clear that Sam had put thought & effort into preparing the best method for my color well before I arrived! It was a welcoming & pleasant experience to be in her chair & I appreciated very much that, at one point when we were using different terminology for the same thing, she took time to communicate with me & make sure we both understood what the goal was - so refreshing as I've had some stylists/colorist have a confused look on their face after a consultation, but plunge ahead anyway assuming they know what I mean. Unfortunately my phone camera doesn't capture any of the many dimensions of color, so it looks more like ombre, but believe me it's quite exact to the look I was going for! This person who recommended me always had beautiful color. I was looking for a single process dye. I wanted my highlights to show through. If someone is trained properly with color, this is not hard. Apparently, the woman I was recommend to did not have the training. Her name is Sona and I would NEVER recommend her. She is a nice person but runs her clients like an assembly line. She does not listen to the customer. I came in with sun bleached hair. I do a lot of gardening. The sun does change the color. I wanted her to get as close to the natural color of my hair as possible which is brunette. This has never been a problem before. She looked in my hair and said she could see where it was darker. Instead of making the color what I wanted, she made the color match the sun bleached hair which was easier for her so she could get to the next client. My hair has a red glow. It is really ugly. I refuse to go out in public looking like this. Does nobody understand what this does to a person? I just want to cry every time I look in a mirror. She really did a number on me. She also said I needed a glaze. I never had this before from anyone. I have no idea what a glaze is or what it does. She never explained this to me nor did she tell me the cost. The customer always needs to be informed so the customer can make a logical decision. I figured this would be a temporary color wash. Maybe $10? When I went to pay I got sticker shock they added on $35.Not everyone in the NorthShore is wealthy like most assumes. I know the value if a dollar but I struggle for every penny. This was a scam in my eyes and to get a commission for something that was not needed. Be ware of additional costly services that are not needed. In all my years of having my hair colored,I never had a glaze on a single process dye. I still have no idea why one needs this. I did talk to the manager. I wanted to talk to the owner but she made herself obsolete. I don't like talking through people. This is how misunderstanding and miscommunications happen. I did talk to the manager who talked to the owner. Horrible! You need to talk directly with the owner. This never happened. I asked many times. I also asked this manager if this somewhat of a colorist is a master colorist or on her way. I wanted to see her certificates. Apparently she is just someone off the streets who does coloring. She has no certificates for me to see. She was not licensed. In all my years of coloring my hair, I have never seen anything like this. I was told they would tear up my check. We will see if this is true but I was also told I can not have any of their services again. They think this is customer service friendly. I don't think so. I was left with a mess that will be very costly and take many months to correct. The color is uneven. I am so embarrassed. They simply do not care. I do not recommend going here. It was a horrible experience. Just be honest if you can't do what the customer wants. This is all I have ever asked.

I asked if I could also have a no-chip manicure and she arranged the appointments consecutively, so I didn't have to come back. When I walked in, I was greeted by everyone, and introduced to Susan and the nail tech, Iwona. both did a very professional job and took care of my long-overdue manicure and hair color & cut. Susan convinced me to try highlights, for which I needed another appointment, and returned a week later. It made a big difference! I've definitely found my new go-to place for my hair and nails!

Don't let it scare you away! Inside Lift it is a hidden gem of a place. Bo took my appointments over the phone and couldn't have been nicer. What a friendly, kind soul he is. He greeted me at the door and introduced me first to Tina, who gave me the best facial experience I've ever had. She also did my eyebrows and lip. She used hot rocks for the massage part-- it was AMAZING! And the bed was heated, which on a cold day like yesterday, just felt heavenly. She was so thorough with the facial and took her time to tell me what she was doing each step of the way. This was my first facial in 10 years-- but I'll be back. What a treat, and very reasonably priced! Then I moved over to Jennifer, who took so much time listening to what I wanted to do with my cut and color. I'm currently in the mid-stages of letting my natural color (gray/ white) grow in, and I explained this to Jennifer.
