Kevin and Kristen are the people to go to here. Kristen is sweet and wonderful. Kevin has such a great sense of your individuality, and knows what's best. I could not be happier with my cut and color. My husband had Kristen and he looks fabulous with his edged shave and new cut. They are appropriately priced because these are professionals. We had been to Salon image many times in the past and never had any issues. My daughter made an appointment the day before prom to get her hair highlighted (she was already a blonde). She had been chatting with the stylist beforehand via messenger sending pictures of what she wanted. Once she arrived the stylist said "that will take to long i cant do that, but i can do highlights....wellll that is what we booked for so cool. Once my daughter's hair was washed we saw the problem. Her hair was GREY with black splotches all through it. We asked for blonde highlights and she ended up with white/grey hair and black splotches all over her head. The root smudge was not done with a brush but done by rubbing the smudge on her fingers and just rubbing into her hair, which was then all over my daughters head and never cleaned up...The root smudge was BLACK, not even close to what it should have been...We had to go to another Salon who said they cant even fix the HORRIBLE job for 6-8 weeks. On top of this, we have called twice and no manager has ever contacted me... PLEASE SHOP AROUND and find a salon who has stylists who knows what they are doing. read more

I have thinning, stick straight grey/black hair and have come to terms with it. I usually have it layered and have it done 2 to 3 times a year. Brooke took her time and asked me questions on how I wanted it and the length of it. She made me feel very special, something that I didn't think i needed. We booked my daughter's color online. Only option for what she wanted was "all over color". We gave the time frame we had, which was 6 hours and we were told 3pm-6pm. When we got there they said they couldn't do the service as the stylist said, and I quote, "I'm not doing bleach right now." Who ever heard of a hair colorist that doesn't use bleaching products? The staff made us feel like we had done something wrong when we booked the appointment. They were unprofessional and dismissive. Maybe they should include an option for bleach related services when booking online. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! This was my first visit to this salon and I decided to do something pretty drastic. I was lucky enough to meet Kristen who not only advised me the whole way through the change, she warned and encouraged me to do and not do a few things which led to the most amazing color, cut and shave out there!!! I went from a pretty bland long blond bob to a cool snow colored funky cut with the coolest under shave. Not only only is this cut the funkiest style I've ever had, I'm already cooler for this hot summer. I HIGHLY recommend both Kristen and Salon Image - everyone there was professional and weighed in. I went here a few times when I still lived in the area. My appointments were on Saturday mornings and every time my stylist was clearly hung over. This would be fine if he actually was able to pay attention to what he was doing. However, the last time I went he left lightener on my hair for too long and my hair was so damaged that I ended up having to just cut it. I let all this go until now because I unknowingly still followed their page on Instagram. Well as I was flipping through my stories they came up. They posted multiple stories about how anyone who supports Biden is a moron/sheep/etc. I don't care what my stylist's political party is but it's pretty unprofessional to post things like that on your business page, alienating your clients. read more

I got my hair done here and was treated fairly well. Tried something very different, went from blonde to dark on top faded to purple. I will be going back to see what magic they can do. Loved that I got a hot chai tea while waiting during the processing periods and they had HGTV on the tv! Felt very welcome and intrigued to get other services done. read more

Very sad is all I can say. I am new to the area, looking for a salon that could color my hair blonde. I had an appointment and showed a picture of what I wanted ( blonde-all over), the colorist suggested a Baylage Brown into blonde and then the next time a complete blonde color. I understood the transition, no problem. Welp, My hair is brassy orange highlights right now, was not asked if I liked it, just oh it Will be lighter next time. Gave me a 20 percent off for next visit because I think she knew how bad it was. Then the bill was $176 ???? Really for highlights???? A conditioning treatment ( which I agreed to for $25 extra) but highlights for 150??? How is this fair??? Everyone was nice, I agree but I'm the one who now has to walk around with brassy orangish highlights. Sorry... hi-way robbery! I would NOT RECOMMEND this salon. I've been here once in 2019, and had a pleasant experience. However I tried to make an appointment recently and was told 1-the day I picked was not available because the nail lady wasn't going to be there and 2-the service I chose was no longer offered. Really disappointed because I literally work every single day, and I happened to have one day off due to a cancelled three day weekend. They need to update their site to reflect changes in offerings and availability, because I was excited and I 100% cannot reschedule. read more

I am torn with this review... Walking in the service is great, it is a nice clean establishment everyone is super nice and friendly and they have excellent service... I also have friends and family go there that recommend the place to anyone who will listen. However, I won a fantasy makeover awhile ago and when I went in and they bleached my hair twice and I don't know what process they used (it was free, I did not care at the time) but it killed my hair. My hair got this really weird rough texture, almost like I was shampooing regularly with hairspray, and my hair just stopped growing! I believe the bleaching process damaged my hair follicles... I had to completely shave my head to have my "virgin" hair grow back in, and months later it is still very short and I hate it. I wish I never entered that contest. However like I mentioned above, I have friends and family members that are regulars there and love it and have no problems whatsoever, I am going to give them one more shot, my hair is not growing back in well and I need a trim to shape it and help my hair to look more appealing. I came to Salon Image a few weeks ago after not having my nails done in years. I was excited to try this place out since it was close to home. I love the clean, friendly environment. The first time I went in, the reception staff was friendly, I met the nail tech who was super nice. She offered me a drink and allowed me time to pick a color. My first time was amazing, aside from not being able to get tips to lengthen my nails (which was my fault during booking, however the options can be a bit unclear). A couple weeks later (about a week ago) I went back to get a full set gel manicure. The nail tech, Sam, was very nice throughout the whole experience. However the experience was a bit different. I was not offered a drink in the beginning like last time (which isn't a huge deal, but was definitely great the first visit), and my manicure was honestly not that great. She did not trim my cuticles like the other tech did the first time, and she started the gel polish way below the cuticle, which ultimately made the manicure look grown out even a few days later. Also, the polish seemed very bulky and looked like a fake nail was slapped over my real nail. A few days later, it started to chip and today a couple of the nails started chipping down to the acrylic. I had to repaint a few of the nails myself a different color to make them look not completely awful, and that didn't end up well. Long story short, it's only been a little over a week and my manicure looks like a disaster. I really want to give Salon Image another chance due to my great experience the first time, but I'm hesitant due to my second experience. I will definitely need to get my nails done very soon, but I'm not sure if I will be going here long term, at least for manicures. read more

This Is a great local business with fair pricing and skilled massage therapists. I got a prenatal massage here and loved it. There is ample parking in a private lot. It was very easy to make an appointment I got a last-minute Saturday morning appointment less than 24 hours in advance. The salon itself is large and open. It seems to offer a wide range of services hair,makeup massage etc. I had a 45 minute prenatal massage. It was perfect. The therapist was concerned with my comfort the whole time and regularly adjusted my pillows making sure I was comfortable and in a safe position. One of the best parts was that there is no product sales pitch like there tends to be in chain salons. I wasn't pressured to buy anything/tip my therapist a certain amount or make a follow up appointment. I made my next appointment happily though. I highly recommend this place to any expectant Mama's.
