I don't think that Trudi who does massages is accredited or not, or even needs to be, but she gives AMAZING, therapeutic massages, has a full understanding of what the body parts are, and how they work in conjunction with other body parts. She has a knack of knowing where my pain is and uses her knowledge to relax and relieve those stress areas which results in taking my pain level down. I LOVE AboutFaces Spa! I get my hair done there and facials with a chemical peel. I've also gotten a message and manicure/ pedicure often. I go at least twice a month! They are the best! I went for a simple cut and trim, but there was a chunk of my hair that was not cut. Their hairdressers are friendly though.

Great experience. Sauna was hot and steam room was empty. Got a fantastic massage. Will repeat and recommend.

I need to thank EVERYONE at About Faces. We not only had a wonderful experience we also received a gift card from someone. I wish to thank this person (They did it anonymously) From the bottom of my mom's heart. My mother is terminal. She had never experienced a spa day and I wanted to give her that! She had never felt so special in all her life. We had also received a dozen roses each! I have been going to this spa for over 10 years. I don't live in the area and I visit infrequently at best. I knew without a shadow of doubt where I wanted to take my mother. There are other salons and the new one that's basically an assembly line. I wanted my mother to have "The real deal" salon experience. Now my only problem, My mom wants to keep going back. She says it was addictive. My mother has never known such kindness in her life. Okay, this is a great establishment but I have to give it 4 stars because I am from Las Vegas and spas there are above and beyond. There is no comparison. Sorry! I do have to recommend a few people though. Lachhimi- Does the most amazing waxes and she really makes you feel comfortable! Patty P.- I tend to be very hesitant about getting my hair done. She is my eastern shore hair savior because she listens to what you want, she cuts great and does amazing dye jobs! Leslie - If I could afford $80 bi-weekley mani/pedis, I would go to her cause she is one of THE BEST nail technicians on the eastern shore! But sadly I can't so I gotta go somewhere. And usually, that somewhere I am on edge the whole time hoping that my cuticles don't get cut and I don't get some funky disease. =/ read more

About Faces in Salisbury was amazing for my wedding. Juanita (#1 Aestheticism on the Eastern Shore) did a quick and painfree job with lots of waxing, a facial, and a peel. I have never been so pampered. She even waxed my fiance's eyebrows which looked great! Kaitlyn did a fabulous job with my make up and my tiny wedding party. She traveled 40 miles to do it on site and we perfected the make up a week before in a practice session. Guys who never comment on things like make up told me how beautiful it was and the pics are amazing. read more

I went Monday night 5:45 to get a pedicure from Erika who did a fantastic job while I was paying a client came in for her 7:15 appointment (pedicure) in the middle of a rainstorm & she was told by a young lady at front desk they couldn't do it bc she was 15 minutes late. The customer showed her phone appt that read her appointment was 7:15 & she was on time. She said that she had talked with them & confirmed the time. The employee said yes she did but still took the stance she couldn't do a pedicure. The customer was told that the business had some problems that day with clock. They could give her toes a new color but no pedicure. The employee was absolutely doing nothing but would not do pedicure which takes an hour & they closed at 8. They never offered to make new appointment with half off for their mistakes. With the way I saw her treated so disrespectful they lost a customer & have one that saw what about faces that doesn't care about the customer who wasn't wrong & a witness to this wrong!! read more

Walking in to About Faces, you could almost feel an immediate difference! Every single staff member was smiling & courteous! I went for a wax & was introduced to Juanita. Not only was she fantastic at making me feel comfortable & easy to talk to, she did an amazing job!! I truly couldn't wait to get home (& not be driving) so I could give this place an amazing review! If you would like to feel appreciated as a customer, this is not the spa for you. I was pleased with my first visit, however, after I booked my second appointment with Lachhmi Taylor, I kept getting the run around from her and the spa about my second appointment. They rescheduled me three times and kept pushing to schedule me with someone else, which left my feeling as though me or my patronage was not wanted at this business. I am truly disappointed and wanted to support a business in Salisbury as well as a technician who I thought was qualified. However, qualifications are not just about the service you give your customers, but in the way that you treat them. I now put this spa in the category of a lot of businesses in this area. While people of color can work for this business, it is a different story if you actually want to be a customer. read more

this place SUCKS. everytime i go to get my hair done they ALWAYS mess it up. i asked for curtain bangs today and it looks like i just forgot to cut my regular bangs and grew it out! ALSO they didn't wash my hair and cut my hair DRY. HOWEVER this is not the first they have cut my hair poorly. the first time i asked for neck length hair and they cut it to my EARS. i am TRAUMATIZED by how horrible the hair cutting is. please consider this rating before going there. read more

I have had massages in the past and all were great experiences up until now. Megan made me feel as though I was inconveniencing her day and she was a little rude. Lachhimi Taylor was amazing! She came to a house in Ocean City, Maryland for my brother's wedding to do all of our makeup. My sister in law made the most beautiful bride ever and everyone's makeup looked stunning! She was so nice and accommodating and had a positive and cheerful attitude the whole time. She asked what my preferences were and we talked about it and my makeup was on point! I have had my makeup done many times before but this one was exceptionally great and it lasted the entire night and then some! We went to APF spa to start off a bachlorette weekend for my friend. They greeted us with a giftbag and smiles. I had Bret for my deep tissue massage and Hanh for my pedicure. Both were very professional and friendly. Bret listened to me and gave me some exercises to do day to day for my posture which is what causes a lot of pain in my upper back (i sit at a desk all day). Love this place! My sister and I came in to get our hair done this morning and had a wonderful experience. Sheen did my hair exactly how I wanted it, made me feel comfortable and was so friendly and pleasant to be around!!! I love my hair! My sisters hair was done by Christine and she also made my sisters day when her hair was finished (shes never had a good experience in a salon until today!) It looked great and she loves it as well!
