I had been looking for a salon to do my hair and 4 bridesmaids, my moms and the flower girls hair for my upcoming wedding. She had known this before she ever highlighted my hair. I would have thought she would make sure my hair was correctly done. Overall I'm pretty disappointed. This was my first and last time going to this salon. I don't usually leave reviews, but I am…read morehonestly so upset about my experience. From the moment I walked in, the stylist was not very friendly or welcoming. There was very little conversation, and I didn't feel like there was much effort to understand what I wanted. I brought in a photo for reference and explained that I was looking for more shape and a few additional layers. I was not planning to take much length off at all. The entire haircut took less than 10 minutes, which immediately felt strange to me. As she was cutting, it felt like she was just chopping into my hair as fast as possible. I was shocked by how quickly it was over. My hair was thinned out way more than I wanted, and now that I've had a chance to really look at it, there are uneven pieces throughout. The worst part is that there is a large section on the side of my head that is about 1.5 inches shorter than the rest of my hair. It's very noticeable and looks like a chunk was taken out for no reason. When I got out of the chair, I was honestly in shock. I've never had someone cut my hair so quickly or so aggressively. I mentioned that it felt like I had lost a lot of hair, but at that point I hadn't really processed what had happened. Once I got home and looked at it more closely, I realized just how bad it was. Hair grows back, but this experience was incredibly disappointing.
