Extremely upset. I went in to do a root touch up and a glaze to even my color. She make my roots a lighter color and rest of my hair darker. the salon have dim light so I didn't Realize it until I went home. and it's too late because they were already closed. Excellent service. I got a same day appointment, called about 2 hours in advance and they were able to take me. I was in and out in no time, but was not rushed. This is the BEST salon, not only on the island but in all of NY! Every time I come in for a color or cut, I always leave extremely satisfied. Gabrielle and Monique are great colorists and actually take the time to examine your hair and explain to you what you can do in terms of going lighter or darker. I have been to other salons in the past where they just want to make money and have clients leaving with brassy orange hair when they promised blonde or jet black hair when I asked for brown. Their blowouts are amazing, when I win the lotto, I will come in every day just so they can blow dry my hair. Their prices are very reasonable and the salon is clean. I love their music playlist as well, makes the experience even more enjoyable! Def recommend and I am an extremely picky person! read more

After having horrible results with ombré from other salons, I came here in hopes my hair could be saved. Gabrielle was able to fix the mess that these other 2 salons had done to my hair. After I saw what a great job she did, I trusted her to do the keratin straightening on me as well. Gabrielle is always super friendly and helpful and she gives the BEST blowouts! wow! going to Salon NV was a really good experience. As soon as i walked in they welcomed me with such joy. I had one of the girls do my color and a haircut and they couldnt of done it any BETTER!! it came out so wonderful! they really took they're time to use they're creativity and my imagination and put it together AMAZING!! couldent be happier!! I have gone to so many other salons and they just couldnt seem to get my color right untill i came here! so happy i found this place and they're very nice women who make you feel comfortable being there.And the place is extremely clean. I have been going to Salon NV for over a year. When you come in its always warm and friendly. I have had cuts, color and hi-lights done and I am always pleased. I'm never pushed to purchase any products, which I have always hated about other places. If I ask, Monique, my stylist, for help, she always makes good suggestions so that I end up looking my best. Love Salon NV - always leave looking amazing!!

I have been going to Gabi for over 10 years with my niece and my mom has used Salli both are beyond amazing. When I started with Gabi I had just removed extensions (THAT I changed 3 times in under 6 months) and my hair was beyond wrecked!!! I was bald in some spots..... Since I was in my early 20's I could never grow my hair even close to the top of my bra strap, my hair was always fine with forever splitting ends no matter how careful I was or what expensive products I was using. I am a natural brunette. I am now 45 my hair is BLONDE with blonde highlights, it is halfway down my back, thick and strong, not a split end in site EVERRRRRR and still growing. MY hair is as healthy as anyone could dream of and Im there every 5 weeks religiously. Yes bleach on my hair that often and my hair is gorgeous!!!! I now I have my step daughter going there as well. OH and I might add we all live over 30 minutes away. I would drive for hours to get to Gab. I will never ever let anyone else touch my hair. Added bonus everyone who works there is so sweet! PS Monique and Kayla are amazing stylists as well, I am an observer and see all their clients when they leave.... Color, cuts, styles you name it they are all as talented as talented come!!!
