My 17 year old daughter had a terrible experience at this salon. She went in for a balayage and was never told the price upfront. There was zero communication from the stylist about the process or the cost, and when it came time to pay, she was blindsided with an outrageous bill ($468). This is completely unprofessional and feels deceptive. A reputable salon should always be transparent about pricing before starting a service, especially one as expensive as balayage. Instead, my daughter was taken advantage of. I called the salon and asked to speak with the owner who basically told me to take a hike and never return to the salon. I would strongly caution anyone considering this salon -- if they cannot be honest and upfront with clients, they do not deserve your business. read more

This was the worse experience of my life. I arrived early for my appointment. Asked if they could move up appointment. They said no but did I want to cancel. I said I would be happy to wait. Every client that came in had their coat hung up and given a complimentary water and salon robe to wear. I was not offered any of that. They shampooed my hair calling me the wrong name and had me wait over45 min with wet hair. This was some type of discrimination. read more

The huge crystal chandler takes your breath away. Great fresh scent in the space. You don't get overwhelmed with the smell of any products being used. The decor and the arrangement of the salon equipment is extremely impressive in the way it's set up. Definitely gives you a spacious feel. Hair products are displayed to in the front right and left side as you enter. There's a cozy sitting area in front to the right by the entrance. The spaces for eyebrows and bathroom matches the entire salon space. Also very spacious. You don't feel closed in. Prestige and excellence all around. I was so nervous to go to yet a new place to get a haircut, but the reviews for this place were great so I came to give it a try. I had Isabella, and she was wonderful. I didn't even have my phone with me, so I had no photos to show her how I wanted my hair! I had to describe what I wanted and she did a wonderful job with my curly hair. I was impressed by how quick she was and how good of a job she did. She didn't pressure me into buying products or into services I didn't want. They were also incredibly clean here, with people constantly coming through to clean the hair that was cut on the floor. I'll be back to see Isabella when I'm due for my next cut! read more

You know that post cut high you get while leaving the salon? Well, sadly hairsay totally missed the mark. I left frantic and sad and feeling like they robbed me. They offer revisions within two weeks but when you show up, you are not greeted kindly. I have curls and went for a cut, glaze and conditioning treatment. Honestly, my hair felt drier after and I felt like they forgot to cut my hair. It also took them 2.5 HOURS to accomplish all of this! It was nuts. I paid $200 and was visibly disappointed at the end of the visit. Again I went back to see if they could fix it but they were clearly not pleased that I was there. The girl who was fixing it literally took my hair and snipped it in three places and sent me out. It's unfortunate bc this is an aveda salon but I could never recommend the facility. Okay so this review is long overdue and I'm so excited to be writing it tonight. Those who know me know how much time and $ I invest on my hair. Well after not being able to go to a hair salon in over a year due to Covid I was on a hunt to find a place that was closer to home. I came across this place after searching Yelp and then starting an Instagram search of this place I came across "Alexlilyhair" This how I came across Alexandra and her work. As soon as I checked out her page I saw exactly what I wanted. Right away I called Hairsay and was able to do a virtual consult and schedule a visit with Alex. First let's talk about Alex, she is just AMAZING and her work is is beautiful and classy. Alex takes her time to discuss what your ultimate goal is and then she explains the steps, sessions and process needed to get there, she does all this while always focusing on the clients satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of the hair. I say this because I have really dark hair and getting me to lighten up takes a lot of patience, but most importantly knowledge. The first time I went to see Alex I was the true definition of a quarantined cave woman going through a midlife crisis, yes that was absolutely me. Alex was able to transform me in one session and boy was I grateful. I had planned on returning 2 months later and couldn't, so I came back for the second session 5 months later and my color and cut were still looking amazing. In the pics you'll see the second session where I wanted to go a little lighter so my grays would blend in more. I'm obsessed, I LOVE it so so much! If you're in the search for a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring stylist, Alex is your girl. She will literally not let you get up from that chair unless you're 100 satisfied. Her assistant Isabella is very sweet and attentive. She also gave the best wash I've had in a long, long time. They are a great team together! Now let's talk about Hairsay itself. You can tell that all the stylists here are very well trained and experienced. If you follow them on Instagram you can see they are constantly having training for the most up to date techniques. The place is impeccable, super clean and very Covid cautious. They practice social distancing, sanitizing, mask use, dividers between wash stations and bagging of personal belongings, you name the precaution and they are practicing it. Yay for Hairsay , thanks for making us feel safe during these crazy times. The prices here are aligned with the quality of the service you are receiving. I find them quite reasonable considering all you're getting. I'm familiar with many products and they are using top of the line products here. 3rd time coming here. My rating would have been higher if not due to my most recent visit (today). It's not a haircut/hairstyle issue, more so a lack of communication or knowledge on the front end side. I've called twice prior to my visit and asked about prices after I made an appointment. I was told BOTH times a haircut for my mediums mens length hair was $65. After the haircut is finished, the price changed to $95. It's not the issue of $30 difference but the issue of I was mislead and if I walked with only $65 it would have been an issue. read more

I came for a blowout with Alyssa. She did an amazing job with my hair and made my hair look amazing and last the whole night. She understood what I was looking for and my hair texture well. She even blow dried my baby hairs so well, which not everyone pays attention to. It was reasonably priced too, about $45 and there is a small additional fee for paying by credit card as there is at many other salons. I went to get a blowout when I called to make my appointment I specified I had curly hair. The girl that blew out my hair did not have any idea of how to handle my hair. When she began blowing it, it seemed a little unusual how she was doing it but I let her finish since it was my first time there I thought maybe they just blow out hair differently. By the time she was done my hair looked like a broom, I was so upset because I was excited going in there. When I went to pay the girls at the first desk noticed I wasn't too happy they offered to have someone else fix my hair. The other girl attempted to fix it and it looked a little better but still bad. At that point I just wanted to get out of there. This place definitely let me down. It's more so the owners/managements fault because they should have people who can handle more than just one type of hair texture. read more

Senior Stylist Nicole is amazing! I have been seeing her for about 7 years and have never been happier with my hair! She does my color, balayage and cut/style. Until I started seeing Nicole, my hair was long and I could do much with it -- all I ever did was get long layers and trims. I told Nicole I wanted to go shorter but was very hesitant about the change. She definitely eased me into it and I was thrilled with the results! She even took the time to show me how to style it myself. Recently, she suggested a new color tint/glaze and knew I was a little nervous. She showed me pictures of what it would look like and it turned out AMAZING!!!! I love it and get tons of compliments! Her skills and knowledge are undeniable. She is very friendly and extremely professional. I trust her suggestions with color, cut, and products. I truly enjoy my salon experience with Nicole and all the staff at Hairsay. Cassidy is amazingly attentive and helpful! I had severely damaged level 10 bleached hair and needed color correction from previous mistakes from another salon. I had shadow root gone wrong (super dark), that went into warm blonde on top, down to long cool ash violet. It looked horrible! She was so careful, doing a strand test of bleach first with 30 volume developer for 15 minutes. All good and my hair didn't fall out, but the bleach didn't take well to the previous shadow root. So next she tried a strand test for color removal of the shadow root. Unfortunately it did not work enough. At that time she told me to keep washing it out and grow it out because color removal will damage my hair further. I was extremely upset because how bad it would have to look for a few months, but I do appreciate that she cared that much to tell me no at that time due to my hair's health. I mostly wore it up in a bun for months, and finally went back so she can fix it. It came out amazing. She works so efficiently and her foiling was so so precise. I appreciated the work that went into that and I love how well it blends now. My haircut is great as well by Kat. I got my cut done by Kat due to scheduling conflicts and short notice, but I really love it. She was so careful not to cut too much off, even though I said cut 6-8 inches. I like that she was careful because some people can get shocked from going long to "short". It happened to me once when I got a layered cut and my ponytail was above shoulder (different salon). So she did long layers in back but shorter face framing in front. It's a great balance. My problem now is that I need to learn how to style like Kat did I keep trying but it just won't come out the same way! It was soo nice and flowy. Going level 4 to 10 isn't easy and anyone who does this knows you have to find someone with skill and it's scary. I've had so many mistakes done to my hair now but I do trust this place with my hair. read more

I've had bad experiences at other hair salons in the past so I was a bit nervous but I'm glad to say that I finally found a hair salon/ stylist to go to.
