If your looking for a hairstylist... look no further! I found Dee on Instagram and she responded to my DM immediately. I called the salon and Brandon was so professional and answered all my questions. Most salons are closed on Sundays but Dee was so accommodating and booked me for a same day appointment. From the moment I walked into the salon I felt a sense of calmness and coziness. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and Dee designed it herself. Brandon started prepping me and he is very talented and knowledgeable of the salons products. Brandon explained the benefits and uses of every product he used on my hair and recommended a few as well. Dee and Brandon are simply amazing at their craft. I visited this salon for the first time on 06/25. I have not met the owner Dee personally, but I did speak with her over the phone. She was very helpful with getting me in at the last minute as a stylist at a different salon had cancelled on me. I was looking for a fabulous look for my anniversary on 06/26, and Salon Olori delivered! I saw the very sweet Rebekah, The Rouge Stylist, and she worked her magic. I have naturally curly black hair. I received the balayage color service as well as a precise cut. I will post a pic as soon as I can, but I can tell you my hair is the bomb! Rebekah was on point in achieving the multi-dimensional color I asked for, and my long layers are oh so defined! I look like a different person and get compliments daily! Besides the expertise of the stylists, it is the atmosphere itself that I love. Everyone was so personable, to the customers and to each other. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salon Olori. The salon's atmosphere is gorgeous, the stylists polite and warm and to top it off the hair care and styling services are as good as they get. My hair was styled by the owner (a true treat!!) Dee Desalu who is extremely knowledgeable about hair care and when she's finished with your sew-in you'd swear the hair had grown off your own head. I keep getting compliments about how wonderful my hair looks. I also loved that they had tons of Moroccan Oil and other hair care products available for purchase to help me keep that just left the salon look. I have been going to Dee for years. The only reason I haven't seen her recently is because of a move cross country. If you want AMAZING hair and aren't going to settle for average, then this is where you need to be. If you want something fast and cheap, then I suggest you go elsewhere. I have worked with hair artists all over the country, on some of the best sets and I still maintain that Dee is one of the best, she will not let you leave that chair until its up to her standards. The person who helped me check out (i didn't catch his name!) was very helpful with product questions i had and i ended up walking out of there with about $100 worth of their fabulous products Moroccan Oil. Anybody that knows me knows that I'm extremely picky about my hair. I've had so many unfortunate haircuts and color jobs from stylists that didn't really understand my crazy thick natural hair. I found Salon Olori through a recommendation from a friend whose hair is always gorgeous. So I decided to bite the bullet and make an appointment with Najja. First impressions of the salon was that it was impeccably decorated - loved the super classy, upscale vibe. Upon arrival, Najja did an assessment of my hair. Admittedly, I suffer from dry scalp, so recommended a Moroccan Oil scalp treatment which worked wonders and smelled fantastic. She then shampooed and conditioned me and set me under the steamer. For the finish, she gave me an amazing silk out blow dry and curled my hair so it was voluminous and shiny. My whole experience from start to finish was amazing! Najja is so knowledgeable about hair and is definitely a gifted stylist. Ohh and they carry the complete line of Moroccan Oil products. I'm hooked! read more
