I booked this salon last minute for my 9 year old who was wanting a bob hair cut that day. They had same day availability, so we headed that way when I got off of work. Turns out, when we got there, we realize they also did ear piercings which was just something she's wanted for a while too, but has always been too scared to do it.
We met with the stylist Mildred, and she was amazing with my daughter. My daughter usually has high anxiety when it comes to her hair and the way that it is cut, and usually when we leave the salon, she tells me all the things she hates about it. That did not happen this time which floored me, she was actually happy with the way that her hair was done and I feel like Mildred actually listened to her and Knew what look she was going for. I can say that my daughter is very particular with her hair and very hard to please, however, Mildred managed to do that.
When my daughter realize that they did piercings at the salon as well, she wanted to go ahead and get her ears pierced that day. I assume that we would not be able to get in right that second and would have to come back another day or a week when the piercer was there. They were able to fit us in as soon as they were done with their current Customer and I was sure that my daughter was going to check out from getting her ears done, like the last three times we tried to get them pierced. We got into the back area where they did the ear piercing and it was quick and painless. I was again amazed that they managed to get her ears pierced when we have tried three times and it had not happened. Mildred made her feel very comfortable and managed to distract her just enough to get it done. Piercing was done straight and quick and my daughter was in tears from being happy when it was over, I know that sounds silly, but it's true.
10/10 place, i'm so glad we stumbled on it. We will be back for the next haircut, no more bouncing around from random salon to random salon! read more
