Blake was my stylist for a number of years. He consistently dyed my hair blonder than I requested and left bleach spots in the crown of my hair several times. Additionally, Blake flirted with me and several other clients (that were quite young) despite his wife being in the salon doing hair in the next chair over, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. Then following a conversation about race, Blake chose to terminate our professional relationship as client and stylist. This has led me to suspect that Blake is deeply racist. Personal views on politics and race should not interfere with the ability to effectively provide a service. I was getting my hair cut and an elderly woman came thru the door with a walker. Blake the owner was cutting my hair. He said in a low voice "man that walker is going to scratch up my floors " his floors are concrete. Made me feel uncomfortable right then. We are all going to get old and maybe will need a walker. This place is a hidden gem. For being tucked away in a small town, this salon is better than any salon I've gone to within Atlanta. Jennifer is awesome. Her cutting skills are so great that a cut from her lasts the full 6 to 8 weeks still looking great. She is not just a stylist, she is also an artist with an eye for current trends. I love this place!! I went for my first time yesterday and saw Jennifer. Jennifer and her husband,Blake own and operate this salon. They are both very kind and truly want to make their clients happy. I am so glad I gave them a try because I normally drive over an hour to go to my normal place.;Yesterday, I did not feeling like making the drive so I looked on yelp and figured I would give them a try. I will be a regular customer from here on. Jennifer really listened to what I wanted and took her time getting as close to my scalp as she could. Their prices are very reasonable. Blake has been cutting my hair for about a year now. He's super particular and does a great job! I highly suggest this place.

I made an appointment two weeks ago to get my hair colored. When arriving there the lady helping (I can't remember her name) was very snobby towards me. She quickly tells me how she can highlight my hair even though I told her I didn't want that she just insisted. I got the feeling that she didn't want to go through the trouble of coloring my hair and opted for highlights. I have darker hair I understand but I know it can be done because I have done it in the past. I ended up leaving with nothing done because I felt that the lady could of cared less about what she was doing. She was rude and talked down to me like I was dumb. Due to my experience I would not recommend this place to anyone. I should of stuck with the salon that I usually go to, even if its an hour and half away from where I live. I was truly disappointed. read more
