I don't know where to start... the service, the quality, or the vibe? I guess I'll start with the service. When I first entered the salon, I was immediately greeted. After I checked in with the front desk, I took a seat in the lobby area, which was super nice and clean. I waited for maybe five minutes at the most before Carrie called me back for my men's cut. Within that short time, I could already tell it was going to be a great experience compared to other places I've been. Once I was called back by Carrie, she immediately did a consultation with me since it was my first time at the salon. I explained exactly what I wanted, and wow, she executed it beyond what I expected! The conversation flowed smoothly between us, and we even joked around. Once she was done with my hair, she made sure everything was perfect and looked even on both sides. On top of that, she also washed and styled my hair. Had a horrible experience. I'm New to Bowling Green so needed someone who could get me in after 5pm since I work full-time. Booked with Hannah. She's a very sweet girl and the salon was beautiful and well kept. However I don't think she had a clue how to do what I asked for, I wanted a chin length front with swoop bank and short back that edged towards the front and layered, side shave that blended in. It's not even close. Also asked for a silver light blonde, ended up with a dark ashy light brown. Very disappointed. read more

I am EXTREMELY picky about who does my hair and how, and i was really nervous to try a salon for once, but i decided to just give it a shot and see how it went and i am so happy. I got a balyage done, and i LOVE it. it was done in a timely manner and they were very neat and clean with everything they did, and i felt so comfortable and welcomed. Very disappointed, will not be back. First time to this salon. I booked an appointment to just have my gray touched up for an event, I would be attending tonite. The salon appeared to be upscale, for they have name brand products & beautiful salon. The beautician was very nice, but stained my scalp, forehead & sides of my face that I cannot go to my event. She handed me some liquid & told me to keep scrubbing it to remove it. I called the salon, asking to speak to the owner, the salon manager said she is never really there & that I had to talk to her. An upscale salon would never allow a customer to leave unsatisfied with obvious staining & not allow them to speak to the owner. I was very, very disappointed. Day 2: I went to another salon to have the stain removed from my forehead & sides of my face, to have the technician tell me my hair color also, did not match. I made it a point when she was coloring my hair, the previous dat, to call the salon that does my hair for the formula they use on me. I gave it to her & she said that is what she mixed. My hair has different colors in it now, that I had not asked for. read more

I'm from OKC and I scheduled an apt to get my hair trimmed. I let them know that I was looking for someone that was good with women's short hair bc I post pictures online of my workouts and progress for my company not only that but I have a photo shoot for my company coming up in a month as well. Craig tried to convince me to something "edgier" I told him I wasn't comfortable with his idea but I would compromise to and extent. The first time I left my hair had been buzzed very high on the sides and the top was looked like bowl with a fauxhawk/ small mullet in the back... Aside from being in shock over most of my hair missing my hair was sooo heavily gelled that I could not tell just how messed up my hair was. I spent $50. After washing my hair at home, seeing the hot mess on my head and crying I then called and said "I hate it and he needs to fix it". I went back same day and he trimmed up the sides and put color in my hair then told me I had been parting my hair the same side for too long and needed to change. He also told me that I needed a cut that was little "corky". I AM NOT a "CORKY" Person... I had spent another $50 for color and my cut to not be fixed... When I got back to the Hotel everyone with our company that saw my hair was in shock of how messed up and uneven it was. I had someone else show me how uneven it was in the back. I then realized, bc of my shocked state and anxiety of my "trendy" and bad cut, he never showed me the back of my hair... My mother did hair, several of my friends do hair, and I spend a lot of time in salons with my girlfriends. This was AWEFUL... He did everything HE wanted and was very dominant with his opinion. I've NEVER cried so much over my hair in my life and I don't think I've done so sense Jr. High. I'm nearly 30 and I was reduced to sobs. Today I went to the salon in Ulta to see what they could for me. As a girl who Never goes to chain salons this was a hard pill to swallow. The girls there took one look at me and was wowed in a bad was. One even respond "oh shit". She helped me a lot and talked me through the whole process. I not only feel violated emotionally but also professionally. My business relies on my social media posts with pictures and I now don't even feel comfortable going to the lobby of the hotel without my head covered. This man talked about how he did hair for a Brittany Spears video, New York fashion week and so on... I'm calling his BS... I went in looking what should have been a simple cut and left embarrassed by the way I looked. This man should NOT be doing hair so he doesn't do this to someone else. It's just mean. read more

I went to SANELA for a brazilian. She was great. However the price listed on the website was $45 and they charged me $65 saying it recently changed but it wasn't updated on the website yet. Doesn't seem fair. If SANELA hadn't been so nice I would've given it 1 star. read more

The salon is way too dark to see what the stylists are doing and I don't know how the stylists see !! There was a not so thin layer of dust on much of the furniture and salon equipment. I had my eyebrows waxed and they came out crooked . One whole side of my face was in shadow, so I'm sure the stylist couldn't tell if my eyebrows were even or not ! I really wish the salons in BG would step it up . Be clean with good lighting and creative hair styling . read more

I was a first time customer. I was running late and called the salon to see if I needed to reschedule. I was told by the gentleman who answered the phone since I was only going to be 10-15 mins late to come on. Well, when I arrived the stylist told me I was too late (15 mins). I was being spoken to like a bad child. I explained I realized that I was late, but I had called and said I would be glad to reschedule so as not to throw her schedule off, but had been told to come on. There were 4 people behind the desk (3 ladies and one guy) who never said a word and several people waiting for their stylists. Two of whom were a mother and child who were in my classroom. The stylist grabbed the appointment book and started flipping pages. The current date was in April. She told me her next opening would be in August. Obviously she had no intention of ever doing my hair. I thanked her and left. The way she spoke to and treated me was so embarrassing that I burst into tears when I got to my car. If I had been late and not made any effort to call and reschedule I could understand her being upset, but I had in no way imposed on her. It was her employee who put me on hold to ask her what she wanted to do and told me to come on. I'm sure many talented people work there, but if this is the example of how the place operates then I'm surprised they stay in business. read more
