My situation was in October 2020, and for the most part, I have kept it to myslef since. I am reading these reviews and finally decided to let everyone know since it appears I'm not alone. I had made my wedding hair style appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. The day of my appointment, I was 15 min early and.... LONG STORY SHORT... waited for OVER an hour with no Regina. Was told several times "She's on her way" or "She will be here in a few minutes". Eventually, I had enough of waiting around and being lied to... and had to leave. See what I'm saying here???? I had to LEAVE ON MY WEDDING DAY with NO HAIR STYLE! I was told by the front desk gal, who had been on the phone with Regina twice, that she was on her way. I found out she was at another WEDDING party's location. She had gone to them and did not budget her time appropriately. Not only was she doing the brides hair, she was actually doing ALL OF her bridesmaids hair as well! She didn't have to do that!! She knew she had to be back to her salon to do MY HAIR! She did all those other ladies hair because it was a good opportunity to make MORE MONEY!! She told me (when she called me directly AFTER I had watied an HOUR and she still was "on her way") that she didn't know she would be doing everyone's hair, and that if I came back, she'd style my hair "for free". I want to know how many brides, ON THIER WEDDING DAY, have extra 1.5 or 2 hours to wait on others??? NO ONE! Wedding days are BUSY and things have to be planned accordingly, which is why I made my appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. At the end of the day...I had no professional hair style and had to do it myself. Needless to say...I felt like I didn't look near as good as I should have on my big day. I am still very hurt by Regina and was made to feel like I wasn't as important to her because I wasn't "worth" as much money as a full wedding party. Obviously, after reading a lof of these other posts, I can see I'm not alone in that situation. How sad. read more

We went to the salon for a bridal party of six to have hair and make up done. Every single person in our party redid their make up. Fake eyelashes were an up charge, blush wasn't applied, and several people didn't even have lipstick applied. The airbrush came out spotty on several bridesmaids. The bride was told that hair and makeup would be $115 for each member of the wedding party. The day of services, everyone was charged $145. The bride even pre-purchased a gift card to pay for the mother to have her make up done. The owner then said that that was not the cost of make up that it was more than what the gift card was! The bridal restroom had a stained toilet, was out of paper towels, and was disgusting. Do not go here for wedding needs! read more

Had an appointment with Regina at the salon. Her receptionist put me in a room to wait. I waited 30 minutes after my appointment time (she only had one customer since it was a week day and early). No one came in to tell me that she was running behind. I could hear her in the other room chatting with another customer. Finally, I went to the front desk and cancelled my appointment. My time is as important as hers I feel. read more

This is gonna be long one but a good one. I saw Regina Webb Salon and Spa online. My husband and i both live in separate states and decided Bowling Green is a halfway point to get married and is where we had our first date so I started looking for a great salon in Bowling Green. Her page popped up with tons of great reviews so I booked my wedding hair appointment and the appointment for two of my bridesmaids there. She called the morning before and had moved my appointment so that she could service more brides on that day which was not a big deal as she said it would only take about 45 mins for my hair (based on the picture provided to her before hand) and about 20 to 30 mins for each bridesmaid (hair just curled and pulled back a little). When I arrived she had a very nice salon. I had brought extensions with my and my hair was washed, straightened (i have very curly hair) and ready for her to work her magic. I was super impressed when she started telling me she does all the pageant hair in town and sits on the board for the ruling board for hair college. She bragged on how she has her own hair product line and is super successful which made me even more confident with what she was doing. I presented the extensions but was told she didnt need them. After a whole 20 mins that she spent on me for my WEDDING HAIR, she basically told me it was as good as it was gonna get and to send in the next people. I will try to upload the pic provided and what I actually got but have no idea if that is possible. The other two bridesmaids got a whole 15 mins each of her curling her hair for her to shove us out the door for her next client. If you want someone who takes pride in making a bride look beautiful this is NOT the place to go. I spent 97.00 on my hair and 65.00 each for my bridesmaids only to have the bridesmaids redo their hair before the wedding. This place is a joke. Its all about the mighty dollar and how many she can get in and get out with absolutely no regard to what YOU actually have asked for. read more

Regina does an amazing job. My daughter wanted her hair dyed purple. Regina gave her a purple hombre and it is beautiful. And the products she used, that she makes, made my daughter's hair so soft and light. Everyone was very friendly and it is a beautiful salon. We will definitely be going back. read more

I only wanted a trim. I was very clear that I didn't want a lot of hair cut off. Regina didn't seem to bother to pay attention to anything I was saying. She cut my hair in less than 5 minutes, cutting off wayy more than just dead ends. She didn't seem to pay any attention to my hair at all. She was barely even looking. Instead she was only concerned about how her credit card machine wasn't working. She even left in the middle of the cut to take phone calls about it. read more

I have curly, thick hair that is not at all forgiving of a bad haircut. I have had some TERRIBLE experiences in the past, and once I found Regina, I knew I'd never go to anyone else. Typically, she does exactly what I ask her to do, and I walk out with exactly what I want. The last time I was there, I asked HER to design a haircut for me. She took her time talking with me about different options, explained different styles that would suit the shape of my face, and even mentioned other things we could do if I wanted to go longer or shorter in the future. I left with a haircut that's very cute and easy to style, and I'm looking forward to experimenting with different lengths and styles in the future. I feel like I'm in very good hands with Regina, and I love having her as my stylist. read more

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would!! I contacted the salon 3 days before my wedding because last minute we had a problem with hair and makeup. Regina said she could get us in and take care of us. To start off the day before she changed the time on us, then changed the time on us twice the day of. After two of my girls got there they called me and said she had been rushing and had both of their hair and makeup done in less than 30 mins. So spending less than 15 mins on each girl!! I had arrived a litter after the first two girls to find out that their makeup was so orange and blotchy looking with their eyes looking like they had been punched in the face from so much sloppy makeup just thrown on them. Their hair had so much back comb showing that it looked like a birds nest on the top of their hair along with the bun falling down in many places. I immediately told Regina how poorly of a job she had and refused to let her even touch my other girl and myself. So here I was with so much time wasted on her that I was left to make a trip back hom to clean everyone back up and do our own makeup and hair. My regular girl was busy. I wanted a haircut today, dangit! Now I look like Shawn Cassidy after a horrible accident. One where people walking down the street would see him and say, "My God! What HAPPENED to him????!!!" Only I'M A WOMAN. Paid $65 for a shampoo, cut and style to look like this! The style is nothing like what I showed her. I went here with a bridal party. The group was 10 minutes late getting there, but the salon was made aware of this ahead of time. As soon as we got there, the employees were rude and spent more time fussing over us being a few minutes late and didn't even acknowledge the bride to be. I had a manicure, pedicure on the first day and an updo on the second day. I asked for shellac on my nails and they ignored my request and out some vinyl nail polish. The pedicure was the absolute worst I have ever had. The entire pedicure lasted 10 minutes, including her painting my toenails... She didn't massage my legs or feet, she didn't scrub the junk off (which is the main reason behind a pedicure), didn't clip my toenails, she rushed through painting my toenails (missed a lot of nail and got a lot of polish on my skin, it was smudged and had her finger prints in it, and she was utterly rude. The only positive thing about the place was the updo. She did a nice job with it as well as all the other ladies. The place was empty for a Friday and a Saturday, very rundown looking outside. Completely not worth the money, very overpriced for what you get. Another bridesmaid cancelled her appointment 4 days in advance because she couldn't make it in time, and they still made the mother of the bride pay for it all. Another young lady wanted a massage but was uncomfortable with a male masseuse. So they still made her pay for it but she never received the massage. Such a disappointment. The upstairs room provided to bridal parties was a wreck. It was hot and dirty. Regina was nice but she could not take criticism when she was asked to correct one of the bridesmaids hair. She then charged one of the bridesmaids $20 to pour a bowl of acetone for her nails. Regina needs to learn to make a bridal party of 8 as priority instead of putting appointments in between. She took 5 mins on my hair (the bride) it looked nothing like what I asked for, in fact it looked like a bird's nest. Of course I couldn't tell her it looked bad because she wouldn't correct it. She then demanded photos after making us an hour late. She also criticized her other stylists saying "they would just get in her way." Very unprofessional. Do NOT waste your time at this salon or with Regina Webb. If you want someone who cares how you feel on what is supposed to be one of the best days of your life, do NOT go to this salon. I'm not sure if she was just hustling or what but I will never recommend her or her salon. read more

The stylist I have gone to there is really good but the salon itself is not...Their management is poor or maybe just isn't suited in a way that puts clients wishes above their own interests. I'm the type of person who gets attached to a particular person...I like her to do my hair and I don't want someone else. I don't care if you think someone else is as good, I want my person. The last several times I have gone my person has been running behind and they have tried to pawn me onto a different person or have me wait for 30 or 40 minutes...If I am coming in for a two hour service the last thing I want is to wait for an extra half hour. read more

My hair had been ruined from a stylist I used to go to at another salon, came to Regina Webb Salon and Spa and came out a new person. Regina was attentive to my needs and wants and made sure I left satisfied, looking and feeling fabulous! I have spoken to and seen a lot of her clients and they love her and what she does as she uses chemistry and math to do hair, so you won"t be getting just whatever. This is a high quality salon with high quality employees who make sure you look and feel great! My daughter scheduled a massage for herself for her birthday. There was a mix up with the scheduling. While my daughter was trying to work out the time with the receptionist Regina took the phone and proceeded to berate my daughter, tell her she was wrong about the time and that she was paying for it anyway because of the 24 hour cancellation policy. At this point my daughter was totally overwhelmed by Regina's nastiness and TOTAL LACK OF BUSINESS ETIQUETTE. She went to the appointment because of the cancellation policy, however was very tense and the massage only served to release some of the tension that Regina's disrespect and disregard for the satisfaction of her clients had caused. This could have so easily been handled with professionalism and care by simply starting the conversation with an apology for the misunderstanding. This is not the first time I've heard this about this person and her business, however it is the first time I can personally say I know for sure it's true. I will shout it to the rooftops now, I will tell everyone that I know NOT TO PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!! Poor customer service is unacceptable in a service industry, Regina learn your manners and get some business sense because you live in a small town where word of mouth means everything. Have been there 3 times in the past 5 months, the first time, I was overcharged ($220 for 1 color highlight and 1 color low light on barely shoulder length hair...) and upon leaving, my hair was unacceptable, bad roots showing all along my part, I had to go back to have it fixed the next day. The second time, my hair was fine, and the price was better, ($185, still high, but $50 less than last time) and the third time, I asked for root touch up and only 1 color of highlight to be added, but Regina had already punched in my invoice for touch up and 2 color highlights, and refused to change the price, arguing across the counter with both myself and the stylist that colored my hair. I was forced to pay $225 for root touch up and a 1 color highlight. Never going back, seems to be a pattern of ripping people off... Very disappointing! read more

One of the worst spas I have ever been to. I have never experienced the salon but I would be hesitant to, after the seeing the quality of the spa. If you would like a day of "pampering" don't waste your money here. There are much better, quality spas around that make you feel welcome, comfortable, and that have much more experienced staff. I made my daughter an appointment here to have her hair styled for prom. We got there and Regina was the one who worked on her. She was eating when we got there at 3:30, which was our appt. time. We waited a little over 30 minutes for her to even call us. My daughters hair was about 2.5-3 inchess past her shoulders. We were wanting a nice "updo" for prom. Regina literally, parted her hair down the back and took the two side lifted them up on top of her head and tied them in a knot. THAT WAS IT!! I asked if she could put some finger curls around in it. she said no, she had another appt. coming in. We paid WAY too much. My daughter left crying, as it was her senior prom. I was apologizing as we got into the car, since I was the one who called to schedule with her. My daughter was so so upset! It totally ruined my day and hers!! It was too late to try an go somewhere else. By the time we got home, it had fallen down anyway. It was a total mess!! We combed in out, and I tried to put it in a french twist!! What a horrible experience it was!! Now that it is all over, we always make jokes of Regina when we hear her name, or see a commercial. Please Please beware of this Place!! How it's still in business amazes me. I know the turn over on employees is very high, as hairdressers don't stay very long with her. Best Advise: Go elsewhere!!! read more

This place doesn't give a "spa" feel but still charges spa rates. Went in for a facial that only lasted 15 mins or so. Wasn't given a spa robe but just asked to lie down. I had to ask for a neck roll. The room was too warm. No spa towel was placed around my hair, which is always done at actual spas. So cream was smeared into my hairline. It felt very rushed. Then to get eyebrows waxed I was asked to go to another room. Attendant said don't mind the sheet that even though it looked dirty it was actually clean. It was definitely stained though. I paid and even tipped but I would never return. I can't believe people actually go there and spend $$ for such a sub par spa experience. Also as I was coming out of restroom before leaving there were 3 or 4 people just sitting on floor in hallway laughing. I had to step around them to leave. Not sure what that was all about. Bad experience for me. Stylist Allison cut a large gap in the side of my hair as well as "trimming" approximately 4" layer in the back of my head. After calling the owner, she had asked me to come in to have it fixed. When I arrived the owner stated they stylist had told her the gap was from a previous hair cut. I showed the owner where the gap and rings cut out of my hair was fresh, not 8 months old and she then stated it was from a cowlick. The owner then proceeded to cut my hair as she had little time. The cut I received from the owner is approximately 1" shorter on one side than the other. I was not offered a refund of my money. I can't speak for the other services or stylists at this salon, however, my experience with the owner and one stylist was very very very bad. I felt disrespected by both the stylist and the owner. I felt they belittled my feelings and the facts, by making excuses for the reason my hair was so poorly cut there and the mistake the stylist made when she created the gap.
