I was in need of a hairdresser desperately as my hairdresser all of a sudden close their door. My hair is shorter than shoulder length, and I needed my grey covered and some foils. I also wanted to trim and a blowout. The woman on the phone was very nice and very friendly and said l when I inquired on the price " you're looking at $160" and I will put you down for a Color and root touchup. Then I heard someone saying something in the background and she said may I put you on hold when the call came back on. It was a different woman's voice who sounded older and told me -now mind you site unseen. -It would start at $230. $230!! START??They haven't even seen my hair they don't know if I have thick hair, thin hair how short my hair is - how ridiculous is that?! Needless to say I didn't make an appointment and I would never step foot in that place and I would tell everybody who asked me for a good hairdresser about my experience with them on the phone.

There are angels among us! Callie, one of the Bella Salon & Spa stylists, is an absolute angel. My…read morebeautiful Mom was recently in the hospital/Sky Rehab for one month. Two days prior to discharge, my Mom was excited about going home; however, she was embarrassed that her hair had not been cut and styled in a number of weeks. I called two local salons asking if any stylists would be willing to come on site to Sky Rehab to cut and style my Mom's hair. Unfortunately, the first two salons I spoke with (by phone) thought my request was somewhat odd, they were short on the phone, and unable to assist. Fortunately, my third call was to Bella Salon & Spa. The receptionist I spoke with was very cordial. I quickly explained the situation and made my request. I then overheard the receptionist repeating my "odd request" to a room full of stylists. Fortunately, I heard a "I'll do it" and the phone was handed to Callie. I quickly explained the situation and my request to Callie. She very quickly agreed to assist. I wanted to make sure I had enough cash to pay for the service and tip, so prior to hanging up, I ask for the total charge amount and she said "it's free, I want to help your Mom feel beautiful." We worked the out details for Callie to come to Sky the next day (a Friday) at 3:30 PM. Around lunch, Callie texted me that she was running behind and would likely be 15 minutes late. Callie arrived on site at 3:40. I greeted Callie at the Sky front door and escorted her to the courtyard where my Mom was seated in her wheelchair. Callie was so sweet to my Mom treating her like a VIP client - asking how she was doing, talking about my Mom's grand kids and wanting to make sure her hair was cut and styled exactly how she wanted it. Once Callie finished, she gave my Mom a hug and I gave her a very nice tip as I escorted her back to her car. This was Callie's last style for the week and she could have easily passed on the request to go home early to spend time with her two sweet kids. I will forever remember and be grateful for Callie's generous act of kindness.

It was a seamless and smooth process. My stylists name was Natalie. She was extremely friendly a nd courteous. She talked with me about relative current events. I had a foil color and cut done. She was an expert in the foiling process. Some stylists pull your hair while they are getting it put on the foil. This stylist did not. She was gentle. I highly recommend this establishment for your hair needs!.

I came in for a haircut and partial highlights and my hair is just past shoulder length. The website says they charge $65+ for partial highlights so I figured it might be $10 more than the listed price due to my hair being short/medium length. When it came time to pay, I realize that I've been charged $90 for my partial highlights! When I asked why I was being charged so much I was told that because my hair wasn't above my shoulders, they consider it to be "long hair", though by anyone else's standards my hair is medium length. I am so disappointed that my money was wasted in this salon.

I had red brassy roots from another stylist who put me under a steamer with a hair color you're not…read moresupposed to use heat with-and went to Regina's to get it fixed. Also all over hair color fade. Alisa consulted Regina and did my roots but also pulled color through hair because it was faded. I was told if it doesn't cover I could come back by Alisa. It looked OK when I left but they have poor lighting and after 1 shampoo I saw light roots and gray at my part with a red cast at crown as well as my part as seen by a friend who is a retired hair stylist so it's not just me! I had her look at my hair to be sure. This was 3 days after I had my roots colored & color pulled through to ends. The photo with very dark brown hair is what it should be and not what I got. I went back in after calling first & Regina said I could come in. She did not sit me down and look at my hair. She never combed through. She was curt from the time I walked in. She called the stylist who colored my hair to apparently come watch as she "handled me". Regina glanced at my part and said she saw nothing wrong. She didn't look close at my hair, her mind seemed made up. I asked her a few times. No nothing she said several times. Finally I said you don't see gray HERE pointing to my part in front. She said yes but that's going to happen as your hair grows out. I said not in 3 days! I told her what I read on the brand of color's website & also what my retired stylist friend suggested: add a cool/ash color in to the mix of the 4n color desired. Regina said she would never use ash on gray hair. And she said she was a trained color expert. I didn't say that: I said mix ash ie a cool color with the other color to keep it from pulling warm Colors (red/gold/brassy) and to cover the stubborn grays that grew back after chemo. She refused to correct my hair after alisha said she would make it right if it didn't cover. I also called & spoke to Regina twice and she told Me I could come in but she clearly had no intent of correcting it or allowing Alisa to. Regina did all the talking and Alisa stood there. I finally said well I paid $150. For a root touch up and tipped $30 so I'm NOT ok with this. Regina just said sorry and was very curt/talked over me. I will never go back. My hair may be more hard to cover after chemo but she made no attempt to make it right & not how I expect to be treated. My hair should be dark brown not medium brown and not have gray still at part along with lighter color at part and crown. Lastly I could not tip with my debit or credit card per Regina's salon rules and had to Venmo Alisha her tip! I was never told a total and had to ask so I could tip her. I was told I would be emailed a receipt and never got one. **The photos with dark hair were both done after chemo. So it can be done.

My situation was in October 2020, and for the most part, I have kept it to myslef since. I am…read morereading these reviews and finally decided to let everyone know since it appears I'm not alone. I had made my wedding hair style appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. The day of my appointment, I was 15 min early and.... LONG STORY SHORT... waited for OVER an hour with no Regina. Was told several times "She's on her way" or "She will be here in a few minutes". Eventually, I had enough of waiting around and being lied to... and had to leave. See what I'm saying here???? I had to LEAVE ON MY WEDDING DAY with NO HAIR STYLE! I was told by the front desk gal, who had been on the phone with Regina twice, that she was on her way. I found out she was at another WEDDING party's location. She had gone to them and did not budget her time appropriately. Not only was she doing the brides hair, she was actually doing ALL OF her bridesmaids hair as well! She didn't have to do that!! She knew she had to be back to her salon to do MY HAIR! She did all those other ladies hair because it was a good opportunity to make MORE MONEY!! She told me (when she called me directly AFTER I had watied an HOUR and she still was "on her way") that she didn't know she would be doing everyone's hair, and that if I came back, she'd style my hair "for free". I want to know how many brides, ON THIER WEDDING DAY, have extra 1.5 or 2 hours to wait on others??? NO ONE! Wedding days are BUSY and things have to be planned accordingly, which is why I made my appointment FOUR MONTHS in advance. At the end of the day...I had no professional hair style and had to do it myself. Needless to say...I felt like I didn't look near as good as I should have on my big day. I am still very hurt by Regina and was made to feel like I wasn't as important to her because I wasn't "worth" as much money as a full wedding party. Obviously, after reading a lof of these other posts, I can see I'm not alone in that situation. How sad.
