If you're looking for a stylist who is arrogant, scattered, and makes you feel like you're the greatest inconvenience of their day, Trinity is your girl. Honestly, I should've known better... Trinity was referred to me by a close friend who is quite meticulous about their hair, so I thought I'd see what she could do with my hair. I scheduled my appt with her via text. First and foremost, she was 15 minutes late to my appt. Since she was the only one at the salon that day, I waited in my car as she text me her eta. I figured this was just a fluke, everyone has messy days... Just to make sure you have all the info, I am a plus-size girlie, and I have never been one to really fuss with my hair. I've attempted many many different stylists, and even when I seek something more modern or trendy, I leave with a short bob. I explained this to Trinity, my first visit stating my insecurities and concerns, as well as asked for something different that would be flattering to a rounder face. Trinity playfully mocked me, stating she was surprised if I didn't want attention since I had so much jewelry in my face (I have lip and nose piercings). It was kind of crass, but I smiled and hoped we'd move on. At this appointment, Trinity bragged about her clientele and how she doesn't need new clients, the ones she has know how awesome she is, etc etc. The cut wasn't bad. She styled it, and the grow out was easy. I was pleased. Remember, I don't keep up with this stuff. It's been approximately 1 year, and my hair was driving me crazy. With hormonal changes, I have grays coming in and thinning on the crown but thickness at the base with wave, curl, and frizz. I reached out to Trinity via text and she sent me 3 different time slots, I chose mine. I arrived 15 min early to my appt. Trinity had another client in the chair, so I stated I knew I was early and had no problem waiting. Trinity grilled me about what time my appt was, was I even on the right day, she didn't remember having me, etc etc. I should have taken the sign and walked away. Once she determined I was just seeking a haircut she said she could do that easy and quick (another red flag I shouldn't have ignored). Trinity was working on a client with extensions at her station, so she put me in an unused station. This station was absolutely uncomfortable and awkward. I showed her the poc of the style I was hoping for, told her how I thought it would work, and she took a 30 second look and said, oh, yeah, layers, I love layers. When I tell you my hair was mid back in length and I was seeking a chunky layered LOB...it's absolutely NOT what I got. I was in the chair no more than 20 minutes. She gave me a SINGLE layer...ONE LAYER!! Then she used texture shears for the rest. So, I mentioned the gray. I had all these baby hairs under my hair at the base of my neck. We talked about them, she recommended cutting them, and I agreed bc they're straight frizz factors. Well, she used the clippers, however because she cut the back, you could see the shaved hair on my NECK on the sides (think of when a man shaves and its been 2-3 days of no shaving). She explained since the hair is growing gray, this is what I should expect of my hair feel/texture moving fwd. I requested more layers and her response was to SHORTEN the SINGLE layer she'd already cut. So, here's the deal, when you cut off the wavy/curl at the end of my hair, it's stick straight. Envision this, a whole layer of straight hair weirdly setting on top of your head like a bowl. I told her it looked rather mullet-esque. She said, yeah, it does, but if we go shorter it most def will be a mullet. WTF?! Reminder, I wanted a shaggy, chunky LOB NOT a MULLET. Trinity asked if I liked it, I told her I couldn't even answer that question bc she didn't wash or style, she literally just CUT. I could assume I'm just being petty, but the whole experience sent me. From feeling like an inconvenience and unexpected (she had messed up her own schedule/calender) to a horrific haircut and experience. Even my husband said, it's not the worst cut you've ever had but it's absolutely not great. He said it resembled something out of 1970s-80s and I should just AquaNet the shit out of it. I had rescheduled a follow up appt while I was there, but the sobbing on my way home and really looking at what I walked away with was enough to cancel my appt and advise I won't be back. I explained it was uneven and not what I wanted, and how I felt like an inconvenience. Trinity told me I could come back for her to fix...I expressed that would not be happening. I told her I had wanted to keep the length but since she removed so much, the only real fix will be the typical short bob (sigh, always!). She essentially told me I was lying and she didn't remove any length. I told her the right thing to do would be to refund my monies. Evidently, she doesn't believe in them, nor does she stand by her product. Schedule with Trinity at your own risk. Do not recommend. read more

Overcharged for an AWFUL "balayage" color. The blend wasnt blended, very straight lines and messy. Trinity was confident that she could give me the look i wanted. i brought her my inspiration picture. She quoted me 250 and reassured me that she could get it done. After 3 visits my hair still looks AWFUL and she wanted to charge me an additional 140. Total of $390?!! Thats crazy!! Especially since my child could've done a better job. I've had lots of comments on the blend and price.. an appointment scheduled elsewhere on Thursday to get it fixed. There is absolutely no way i would give this hairstylist another chance to touch my hair. I have never given them a 4 star review as the owner commented on Google review. I would never! The conversation was a little inappropriate and the salon is dark. Not very welcoming atmosphere. read more

Yesterday I went in to have my hair done for the first time ever in my 40 years of life and I was so nervous, but I was blessed to get in with an amazing colorist. Trinity was awesome! She made me feel comfortable and was confident that I would love the outcome and I absolutely do! Unfortunately, I didn't take a before picture, but this is a picture I took today. I was in a hurry so I didn't put a whole lot of effort into styling it but you can see how beautiful and evenly disbursed the highlights are. Prior to getting this done my hair was a very mousy light brown with a lot of gray growth. I feel like a new woman! Trinity really knows her stuff and she did exactly what I asked for. I will start by saying that there was only one hairdresser wearing a mask and they allowed multiple clients to come in without masks and even encouraged me to take my own mask off. At the start of my appointment I shared photos of what I wanted. I wanted a cut with layers and long side bangs. My hair was blonde from a balayage I had before and I wanted to go back to brunette. The hair dresser (Kim) did not ask what color brown I wanted, she just assumed I wanted my natural brown and everytime I tried to speak up she brushed me off. She was going to charge me for an extra long color and I reminded her she was cutting my hair and she wouldn't need to because my hair would be shorter. She barely glanced at my photos and started cutting. She cut my bangs WAY too short and in the end styled them to be straight across bangs, when I originally asked her for long side bangs. The ENTIRE visit she blabbed on about how this pandemic is a scam and how the government already has cures but they are keeping it from us so they insert chips into us through the vaccines, she continued to disregard every scientific research that has been done and blab on about her conspiracy theories. I had to endure 3 hours of these conversations even though I myself work in healthcare as well as having family who work in public health with the government.. I have never been so uncomfortable. I now have to pin my bangs back everyday because they are choppy and WAY too short.. here's to hoping they grow back fast.. I will never return here. read more

Omg! I spent 5 hours at the salon and my hair is orange in spots, I look like a cheetah!!! Was never communicated about this or I would not have done it. Kim was very rude and unprofessional when I told her I was unhappy. I have a text with her telling me " I should have just left it orange", wow really? I spent 195.00. She never once asked me about my color history or anything, if she says she did, that is a lie! I did not use box color on my hair and if she'd asked then she would know that! I PAID 135. for the service, 45. for products that were to get out the orange (why would I need these if it wasn't orange?) and I tipped her 20. because that's what I do. This was before I got home and got a good look at it. That is a total of 195.00!! POINT IS, SHE SHOULD HAVE COMMUNICATED AND ALSO ASKED ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY COLOR HISTORY BEFORE SLAPPING BLEACH ON ME AND PUTTING ME UNDER THE DRYER!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. FOUND OUT SHE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A BUSINESS LICENSE. I TRIED TO REPORT HER TO THE BBB AND NO LICENSE!!! Beware! When she texted me "I should have just left it orange" that's when I lost it! Couldn't believe it! P.s. I never would ever, step back near her ever!!! Never asked never would. Wow! Why would I let someone near me again after not asking my color history and burning my hair off? Oh... it's been 5 hours,... let's do more! NO WAY KIM!!! She changed her story from saying it would be a double process to the lie saying she said it would be two lightening processes plus a toner after my attorney had a discussion with her. i.e.- Double-process: A double-process color refers to anytime two color services are done in one visit. This can include lightening the hair then applying a toner, or doing a permanent color followed by a glaze. So basically she did 4 processes on my hair! Frying it! I lose so much hair every time I wash or brush it. I have all of the texts to prove all of this. What a waste of time when she could just have apologized and we could have moved on. Wow! Sad. Trinity Yoder is a disgusting person. None the fact that she's horrible at hair and customer service. Came in for a bleach left with my hair with barely any color when I texted her asking if there's anyway she could add some more blonde. She ignored me for weeks until I made an appointment and she then reached out to me. when I came in immediately, she was disrespectful and super unprofessional. My mom was asking questions because she was worried about it not coming out how I wanted as a normal person would do. she started arguing with my mom and yelling at her and then refused to do my hair and said she would give me a partial refund. As the days go on, she refuses to give me any money back and she refused to do my hair. she fried my hair and ruined it and now I have to go pay to get it done somewhere else. She is very disgusting she is very narcissistic and just a horrible person in general she should be fired. Her disgusting personality could be overlooked if she was amazing at hair yet she sucks at her job too. She will leave your hair fried. Don't not go to this salon. She said she would give me a full refund because she refused to do my hair. Then she changed it to half a refund and then no refund at all. They said they have 100% guaranteed happiness but they will not do anything to help you leave happy read more

Kim is awesome. She's very friendly and gives great men's cuts. Have been to her twice and will be coming back.
