Kevin, one of the owners, has been cutting my hair for the past year, and I've been pleased with every cut. He also offers a 15-minute trim-up at no charge if needed in between regular cuts; who does that in 2023? Kevin does. I highly recommend the salon as my girlfriend is also a very satisfied client of Holly's over the past two years. I got my hair done by Holly on September 21st. Really sweet girl. Professional. But didn't give me what I asked for the first go around and charged me product fees to fix what she admitted was her mistake. I paid and didn't argue because I'm afraid of confrontation but still upset about the encounter considering my color faded within 2-3 washes because she didn't re-dye it only re-toned it. Ended up tipping 20% the first time, so in total I spent ballpark $350 just to be back to square one after two weeks. I think the reason I'm the most frustrated is because when I went in the second time for the toner she said "my bad just when people come in saying they want red a lot of the time they don't actually mean it so I underestimated it this time". Yet I showed her exactly what I wanted and she knew it was her fault and still charged me the $40 product fee. I'm in the service industry and would never still charge a customer for something that was my mistake especially after admitting it was my mistake. I'm not looking for anything free just hoping the owners see this and are able to talk to their stylist about giving good customer service and how to right their wrongs the correct way. read more

Wanted to update, after receiving the response from the salon. We wanted to pay for the full service, which is what we thought we had booked. The problem is that wasn't offered when booking or even offered for the weeklong period between booking and arriving for the services. We were not told your are only booking for a haircolor...no wash, dry, cut or style...we were never given the option to book those additional services. TRUST ME, that is what we the client that paid a deposit of $ 120 to just book the 90 minute appointment for. Now it's our fault for booking online?!! TRUST ME. TRUST ME, I wouldn't have booked if we didn't want the service or to pay for the service. The arrogance astounds me. read more

What I asked for vs. what I got... I wanted a cute shoulder length chop, which I've had many times before, but never like this. The stylist took some creative liberties and delivered a cross between Carol Brady and Charlize Theron in Monster. I did express my displeasure with the stylist and the owner and I requested a refund, and was told they do not issue refunds but I could go in for a complementary cut. Well I don't think my self esteem can possibly take another hit from this salon, I mean I'm already living in a baseball cap, one more cut from them and I'm sure I'll end up looking like the Cynthia doll from Rugrats. So if you're finding yourself a bit too full of self esteem or confidence, take a trip to Salon Perspective and they will happily knock you down a few pegs, making sure you leave their establishment looking and feeling your absolute worst! I have been getting highlights by Michael for years. My last appointment he spent 4 hours doing my partial. Mainly because he spent more time telling me a whole lot of detailed personal information (that I will not disclose out of respect) than he did focusing on my hair. Which at the time was fine until I got home and saw bleeding marks from the foil slipping. A few days later Kevin was kind and saw me right before closing to blend it out. 8 weeks later (last Friday) I came in to see Michael for another partial. He was 20 minutes late and said Mindy come sit in this chair. He continued to talk with his other client across from me then looked at me and said take your hair down let me see the bleeding. I smiled at him and said hi! How are you? He said good, let me see the bleeding. He was super defensive from the start. I said it looks better but it was pretty bad at first. He said well life happens are you going to cry about it? I looked at him completely appalled and said are you kidding me? I don't want you doing my hair if that's the way you're going to speak to me. That is so unprofessional. He said you're going to go after my character? I said yes I have been coming to you for years!! How dare you treat me like this when I spend a ton of money on my hair and tip you 20% every time. He got close to my face, said more rude comments and I had to tell him to back up.. I told him I wasn't coming back and neither would my mom. He said okay great bye! All of this was in front of his other client but he could careless. That night he decided to be even more professional and made a tiktok about me and how horrible of a person I am. He ended the video saying for me to go f*ck myself. I have maybe written one other review in my life. Never have I ever experienced anything like this. Do yourself a favor and spend your time/money somewhere else! read more

Would not recommend. Just had color added (highlights) and charged me $250 for two streaks of highlights in the front and one in the back. Once again wonderful service at Salon Perspective. I took my 15 year old daughter to have her hair colored a Smokey blue/Smokey lilac color and Michael did an amazing job as always! Her hair looks beautiful and it feels great. Michael also colors my 17 yr daughters hair fun fashion colors and always does a fantastic job blending, making obvious unnatural colored hair look natural lol. I ran across Amy about a year ago as I have been searching high and low for someone who hasn't been intimidated in doing bi-racial hair and I can honestly say I have found my forever colorist.
