This place is NOT just another crappy strip mall nail salon, they are a high-quality, professional place that actually cares about their work product. Took woman who runs it actually took the time to explain to me the various types of manicures and the pros and cons of each. I have been many, many very terrible experiences at nail salons. One very popular salon gave me an extremely and nasty fungal infection. It took a YEAR for my nails to heal AND I had to take medication! So many salons clearly run just a business of scale and speed. They don't seem to care at all if your manicure lasts or how it looks. Why so many of these crappy salons continue to stay in business is a mystery to me. This salon felt far better in terms of the quality of my result and the customer service I received. They don't even charge prices higher than all the others. This small portion of the economy does not make much sense to me, but I'm just happy to find a place to give me a nice manicure. read more

A very good basic manicure and pedicure, but the woman who did mine was rude--she looked to the side the whole time as if my feet were too ugly to look at. When it was time to pay, she asked for a tip and acted shocked and insulted that I only gave her 18%. She actually haggled with me over the tip! Never returning here. read more

Cost is a little higher than what I am used to paying in Seattle, but I like the idea that they sterilize the instruments. It's never been a problem for me in the past, but you never know. My favorite place! I have been coming to Salon Savi for over 10 years. Friendly staff, clean salon and quality service is what you should expect for every visit. They keep up with all of the new and improved techniques. I recently have been doing the SNS Dip and have had them last just over 3 weeks (when I had to change my appt unexpectedly). I get my hair and nails done on a regular schedule and have had facials and waxing done too. They have a full menu of great services and dedicated staff to make you feel great. read more

I got a mani and pedi here on 5/20 by Sandy. Got gel nails for the mani. $50 for both. Told me the color I picked for my fingernails would change color due to the temperature. Never heard of that before, so I tried it. Kinda a weird novelty but it's fun except for the fact that Sandy didn't tell me the special polish would cause my fingernails to burn like the sun with the top coat being put on and my hand under the heat lamp. I would have liked to have been told that BEFORE. Then I would have chosen a regular gel polish. Pros: Salon that does nails, hair, eyelash extensions, waxing Clean Modern design Easy access off of Edmonds Way Friendly service Cons: Water was cold for the pedi Cut one of my toes and it bled Stabbed a second toe No warning that the heat lamp was going to fry my fingers at the end! My mom is disabled & can no longer trim her toe nails. I brought her to Salon Savi hoping they could trim her nails & accommodate her special needs. She cannot easily climb up into a chair. They allowed her to sit on the lobby chair & gave her a pedi right there. Covid has really hurt small local businesses. This is why we need to support these places!! read more

I find the staff their are super sweet but the shellac manicure I got was not great. I understand I asked for more details but it was only 3 days in and my nails started chipping. The stars I got are bubbly and smeared. Also they accidentally added base coat when it was suppose to be a top coat and wiped it off, leaving the paint to be spotty. I got a pedicure over 8 weeks ago at this lovely shop and it was one of the best I have ever had! Tina was my nail technician and she was so sweet, she did a wonderful job it was one of the most comfortable pedicures I have received and it has lasted with minimal chips almost 2 months! The customer service was outstanding, They steam clean chairs in between each appointment. I will definitely be going back soon and highly recommend it read more

My last SNS dip powder manicure lasted less than a week before it started cracking and chipping. The nail tech was new and she was not properly trained. Sounds like what the previous reviewer stated about the high turnover and pressure to rush through clients. read more

The staff are very friendly. They served good services but the interior is not very nice, not clean on tabes and shop-self is pretty small. It's a little bit mystery to me, price is different with same service depend on staff. I did shellac/acrylic recently and it was $36. I paid tip separately. Shellac average price is around $25 in salons which I've been. You might want to make sure how much is your service first in case you ended up wondering like me. If you like to have a friendly and nice customer service, I recommend this shop. They might still need to update the interiors. read more

They said they were sorry to rush the appointment but that I should come back in 2 months to fix it. I was there maybe 15 minutes. It ended up a sloppy, choppy, uneven cut where spots were missed. My hair wasn't washed or styled and only barely blow dryed. Yet the wanted to charge me $55 for what I could've had a child do. Now I have to go somewhere else to fix it. When you screw up, don't charge over the listed price and don't schedule someone if you don't have time to do it. read more

The staff was so sweet and welcoming. I came in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The pedicure turned out great but my when it came to the gel manicure, unfortunately the sides of my nails weren't painted properly and it looks like I've had my nails done for a week even though it's only been a day. Some polish even ended up on my skin. I'm going to have to pay to get them redone since I originally needed them done for an event, so it's a bit disappointing. I feel bad giving them 2 stars because they truly are so kind here but it just isn't a place I'll be returning to due to the end results. read more

Just moved here from Texas and mourning my wonderful hair stylist there... I ventured to try Victoria because of the Katie L recommendation here on yelp. Bonus, she's right up the street from me. Don't be scared off that she's in a little nail salon, though it looks generic and ordinary, she is anything but. It doesn't have a harsh chemical stink in the air, and she was timely and prompt. I also liked scheduling via online "MyTime" email. Victoria spent several minutes looking at my pictures, talking with me about my hair texture and lifestyle and what I wanted... then she actually cut my hair "in its natural state" without washing or wetting it first. She was able to observe the natural curl pattern (my hair is part wavy, part curly, part just frustratingly straight) and she informed me that she was using my pictures as guides only, because unless I wanted EXACTLY what the pictures showed, she wanted to follow my hair and cut it at the length that would respect the spiral waves where I had them, or the curly ends where I had them. Then she washed it and styled it-- and holy cow, I was afraid! but it turned out just like the pictures, no crazy hodgepodge ends or wildly varying lengths... and I love it. She was gentle and thorough, hysterically funny at the beginning, then as I began to get drowsy with the scalp massage, she got quiet and I pretty much fell asleep while she curled my hair. It was a very relaxing and peaceful experience, and I woke up to be really pleased with the cut. I am delighted. If you have curly hair, I think Victoria really knows what she's doing. My only suggestion would have been to give me a hand mirror and let me look at the back of my head-- didn't think of it till I got back into my car, but no biggie :) read more

I love this salon. I go there due to Alison. She has been my nail stylist and my waxing technician for 10 years now. When she moved to salon Savi I had to follow her - the others I have tried simply don't provide the quality she does. And I had the pleasant surprise to find that the salon is clean, and the atmosphere is nice. The owner is very welcoming. They also take calls quickly and they have been able to accommodate me when I needed my appointments. But again, who does your nails/waxing still matters quite a bit. If you get Alison, your shellac won't chip. And if you do waxing with her, you probably won't want to go anywhere else. She really is very very good. read more

They are so friendly there- great place to become a regular. Heidi was also very sweet and she seemed to have many regulars as well! Everyone is friendly and they all do a great job. Salon Savi is also among the more affordable salons. They don't cut corners, but you don't walk away feeling overcharged for services. As someone who has had many years of traumatic haircuts growing up, I have been very picky about where I go to trust someone to cut my hair the way I LIKE, not the way the hair stylist likes or thinks it should be. I am happy and relieved to have finally found this place in Salon Savi. The two times I've been there I've had two different women cut my hair and they are great; they really know what they are doing and then they style my hair in a way that works for me too. If I ever decide to get a perm or do something fancy, this is where I'm going to go. Victoria does an *amazing* job with my hair. She's fantastic. Joey has done such a wonderful job with my nails I almost hate telling you about him. I prefer NOT to use the drill on my nails. Usually that means they fall off in a week. Since going to Joey my real nails have been slowly growing out (I'm a biter) AND my acrylics do NOT fall off. I am super happy with my hair and nails. I am so picky about where I go, and I have been super satisfied with both my hair color/stylist and my nail tech. Plus the prices are absolutely reasonable. read more

The people are super nice and I'd give them 4 stars, but the business itself just isn't up to par. The space has so much potential if it were JUST a nail salon, but they cram a hair salon station, merchandise shelves, and facial/hair washing into the same space. The pedicure chairs are outdated and rickety. And I left with every nail on my hands having the sides completely missing paint and the paint is super thin...I can see right through to my real nail. The final straw was the fact that we (my husband and I) paid $100 for both of us to get a mani/pedi...only one of us got paint/gel...how is this right?! Sorry Savi Nails... read more
