Nail shapes are different sizes and design is not adequate. I expressed my dissatisfaction during the service and yet they still could not follow through with the desired shape or style. I love coming to TT nails. The staff are super sweet. They always remember me even when it's been a while. I come her specifically for the pedicure and leg wax. The pedicures come with the best massages. They offer tiger balm (kinda minty stuff for you legs). The wax is well executed. The women who does them is detail oriented. She gets my toes, checks for ingrown hair, and even gives a nice little foot and calf massage. This is the place I go for a little extra luxury. Adding that they are currently requiring masks. I'll start by saying I was completely desperate one Sunday (they are closed Sundays!) because I was relatively new to the area and had basically been using all the wrong nail salons! I have had acrylics and gel nails for years but the local salons had truly damaged my nail beds by all the drilling. Well, one of the gals welcomed me in and gave my nails some TLC to where 6 months later, there was absolutely NO damage to my nails!! Yes I know nails grow out. But I'm saying the processes are much more friendly and I've never been happier!! The girls are always so friendly and love to show you all the options. They really do pull no stops. I drive all over and so eventually I found another salon I liked. Well, the polish from there didn't last nearly as long but I loved the colors they had so I kept going back intermittently. Well I mentioned this to the girls at TT because I was just being honest that their shellac colors, while very high quality, were on the boring side with the color options. I came back a month later and they added more colors!! I love it when a business listens to their customers. That kind of improvement will be competitive for a gal who drives all over greater seattle and, while loyal, will do business based on many different factors. This very well impressed me and I've been totally convinced that I'm going to the right place! It's not a full-blown spa experience. But you do get very friendly ladies, other nice patrons (I've even done business with other gals who sat next to me getting our nails done at some point!), fantastic quality of work, and all the options for nail color you could ask for! A friend of mine recommended T&T to me last week so I thought I would check it out over the weekend. Her recommendation came with a couple of warnings: 1. having an appointment doesn't mean anything. She called ahead and was told they could take her right away (which they did) but then as she was having her nails done others came in that had appointments but were turned away and told to come back at a later time (kinda strange). I decided to hedge my bets and showed up at opening on Saturday morning. I was the only one in there for a good 20 mins and by then I was almost done with my shellac manicure and pedicure. 2. great prices but you get what you pay for. can't beat a $20 shellac manicure but it's also not the best I've ever had. the pedicure was good and comes with wax paraffin. The ladies are all very friendly, too! I'll definitely be going back to T&T, they're nice and cheap so as long as you're not super picky it's a great spot for a cheap mani! read more

Worse pedi ever!!! The lady that was doing it was rushing through the whole thing. Ended up cutting me not once but 4 times even after I kept jerking my foot away. On top of that for them to scrub your feet it is an extra $5 when that should be included, you don't even get to keep the scrubber they use. Also the flower looks horrible they don't even look like flowers at all. Sad to say that it use to be one of my fav places to go back in the day never again. read more

Lately checked out this place since my regular nail lady wasn't in town. My friend and I decided to try them out. This is probably the worst shellac manicure I've gotten, and prices aren't so hot either. The woman who did my nails was more focused on listening to her coworkers convos than focusing on my manicure. I had to correct her twice with what shape I wanted. My toe has been on and off very sore since I had my pedicure here in June of 2019. They clipped the side too short and blood got under the nail. It turned black, the nail peeled off, and it grew back and it's still black under it. Now it looks infected and is sore again. I keep soaking it in Epsom salts water and it gets better for a while. I don't know the name of the woman who did this to my toe, so I won't be going back. They also charged me $5 extra when I said I wanted my heels scrubbed. She did it all of 30 seconds with a tool I have at home. Waste of money and not a good pedicure. They used to be better, but they've gone downhill over the years. read more

I've been getting my nails done for 20 years now. I've written many reviews about various shops I've tried and I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. This was one of the bad. The people working there are nice enough but the lady who did my fill BUTCHERED my fingers. Out of 10,5 of them were bloody by the end of it thanks to her overzealous filing. TT nails has been my go to nail salon for at least 15 years I love my artist--Denise. She's excellent and extremely efficient. Under 45 minutes for a fill!! Can't beat that. I've given this place 2 chances and am now back in search of a good salon. First attempt, I called and made a 10:30 am appointment for a pedicure and set of nails. I arrived at 10:32 and waited until 11:08. I was going out of town and had to leave by a certain time so I had to forego my set and just did the pedicure. The pedicure was done quickly, there was no attention spend on my embarrassingly callused heels and the massage was quick. My toenails were shaped wierd as well. This was by far the worst pedicure I have experienced. Because the service was friendly and i've had friends recommend this place and it is located right down the street from me, I decided to give it another try and go back for my set of nails that I was long overdue for. Granted I'm a horrible nail biter, thus they didn't have alot to work with. However I've been getting this done for years because of my nervous habit. Never have I recieved a worse set of nails. She put on tips that were too large for my nail bed and they didn't match from hand to hand. She barely filed them down to fit my nail bed or to shape them so they looked somewhat natural. Instead she just slapped on the acrylic over top of ill fitting tips, of which I thought she might still file them down. No such luck. I'm left with thick, flat shaped, crooked and un-natural looking nails of which the color chipped the 2nd day. I have learned a valuable lesson, convenience factor isn't worth it! That and if a salon can't give a decent pedicure, don't waste your time there for anything else! read more

Horrible. Just horrible. My first trip in there was for my birthday. I brought a girlfriend and our kids. They were so rude to the kids, kept trying to convince the girls to change their polish color to something else and was so pushy to the point to where my daughter felt so uncomfortable she didn't even want to get her nails done anymore ( the kids are both 8) at one point the nail lady doing my nails told me to stop talking and laughing Because she couldn't concentrate on keeping the polish on my nails and off my skin. My shellac didn't last more then a week. This last weekend I decided to try them one more time and it wasn't any different then the first time. Kept trying to get my daughter to change her polish colors, which she gave in this time and hated them so much she asked me to take them off as soon as we got home. My shellac was done on Friday, it's not Wednesday and I have a total of 3 nails left with polish on them. Not worth the money. Zero stars. Won't be back read more

I've been here about 7 times, and the last time I went in I got a spa pedicure and a manicure. They charged be 5 over what they had quoted me, talked in vietnamise the WHOLE time didn't bother asking me if I wanted a design on my nail, they just placed it on there. Granted the work was good, but it was extreamly rude to not say two words to me, and charge be for having different colors on the toes and hands (Yelllow on the toe's and white tips on the fingers). As a stay-at-home mother of two little ones, my hands take a beating. I was looking for a cure for "man hands," thought it would be fun to try a shellac manicure. The place was packed when I arrived, and the women were friendly. Got seated and picked a pale pink shade. Cathy offered to clean up my cuticles for an additional $5. Not sure if that traditional manicure treatment just doesn't come with the shellac manicure, or if my man hands really looked that bad. (They probably did...) I was happy to pay extra to have my hands rescued. Paid $35 total for shellac and cuticle care. Nice buffing job before the shellac, color was nicely applied, great shape on my very short nails. Remember you won't get any lotion or hand massage with a shellac manicure...paint needs to cure for at least an hour before you can apply cream. Next time I may ask to have a lotion/hand massage before washing my hands for the shellac. No hand massage was my only disappointment. They work quickly and expertly, the salon is very clean, and everyone seems to know each other. (Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name...a la "Cheers.") I'd like to become a regular here, and convince them to throw a little Tiger Balm lotion massage in with the shellac manicure! ;) read more

I went in there for acrylic nail tips with a gel coat for $37. The price was not bad considering, but the service was sub par. I had Nini do my nails, and she was as rough on them as they come. She did them without much care and treated my nails as though she just wanted to get them over with. She actually cut my pinky finger while filing my nails, and when I told her I was bleeding she put nail glue on them to "fix" the cut. I asked for round nails and she made them uneven, which she did not even notice until I asked her to fix them. After the manicure my nails hurt all around and were very sensitive, and I know it's not normal because I've had them done elsewhere for less with a better result. I've been going here for a few years. They are so sweet and impressively know pretty much everyone's name when they walk thru the door. I see Nini for my nails and she does a great job on my gel fill. Every once in a while I get a pedicure and I love the tiger balm rub they do!! Heaven! (As someone else mentioned yes, they do ask first) All the ladies are nice and welcoming. They will talk to you as much as you like, or let you sit and relax. Went there and was not impressed. Got a mani / pedi and when I got home, I realized that the bottom of my feet were all scratched up. I'm used to having the rough skin removed and they just did a poor job. Couldn't were sandals it looked so bad. I asked for french-tip finger nails and they lady kept making mistakes and then saying "I'll fix", "I'll fix." When she finished and I pointed out how jagged and uneven the white parts STILL were, she told me that she couldn't see it. Seriously? It looked like crap. So much for treating myself. I have been going to TT Nails for over 17 years. Nini has done a wonderful job making my nails look amazing every time I come in. I was a retail worker and was very hard on my nails, constantly breaking them off within a week or two. Nini found the perfect was to get them to stay on for more than three weeks before I needed a fill! Now that I have a desk job and am typing all the time. I only get to see this amazing group of lady once a month because my nails stay beautiful that long. read more

I've given this salon a few goes and every time I leave, I'm dissatisfied. First off, their color selection for shellac is minimal and not very good. Mostly all glitter colors, which would be great if that's what I wanted. But I don't. Secondly, they are not following standard sanitary practices (feel free to pm me for further details) Thirdly, they do not do a through job. It's very quick and sloppy. I've been going to TT Nails for a long time. When I was 3 my mom used to come in all the time to get her acrylics filled and the ladies their would put me in a chair and my hands in a water dish to make it seem like I was involved. I believe they often painted my nails as well. I love hoe the ladies at TT Nails always take the time to learn and remember the name of returning customers. When you enter they all sporatically say hello (caling you by name) and when you leave whoever notices (usually a good 2-3 of them) says goodbye. Its a very friendly experience at TT Nails. K-12 my mom always treated me on the last day of school to a pedicure in one of the chairs with TT Nails. We would talk about summer plans and the various ladies at TT Nails would comment on how big I had gotten since the previous visit (comparing back to that little 3 year old me). Some of the things I like about their pedicures is when they lotion they have the option of Tiger Balm (which is personally a must). I also apprciate that unlike a lot of other nail places they don't lather me in lotion and then put a hot towel and rub it all over freshly lotioned legs. I've been other places that do that process and it just dries out my legs. The massage chairs are also typically updated every few years so they always look fresh and clear rather then run down or old. Now days I come into TT Nails once to twice a month (2-3 weeks between each) to get a nail fill for my acrylics (my how the world goes round.. theres no mini me yet though, don't rush me ;) I'll get there). I go to school over in Ellensburg and I've tested the nail places out there and none compare to TT Nails. TT Nails is always on top of it with precise painting, matching or complying to the nail shape I desire, and timely appointment dates. I also love and apprieciate their willingness to re-create the fun nail designs I find and often want to try. Scheduling wise, I don't have just one of the ladies that I always visit. I prefer the flexibility of appointment times with not having a preferance to who does my nails. Do I have favorites? Yes, and I get quite excited upon arival to see I'm with a particular person. Yet I still don't specify when I make my appointment because I like to see a variety of people and honestly some of the ladies are better at different types of designs then others. So if I only met with one I'd have to keep that in mind for all my desired designs. They do take walk-ins, you might have to wait up to 20min for an opening, but they rarely turn people down. The rare occasions I have seen a walk-in turned down was a weekday evening (it was between 5pm-8pm) and a busy Saturday morning (this is not to say all Saturday mornings are this way, just that they could be). Side Note: I've seen complaints about one of the ladies seeming in a rush and in the process cutting your fingers in their apparent carelessness. I want to say some of the ladies are just really speedy. This is their craft, they've perfected their methods to the T. If they do cut you though, you could always ask them to slow down or tell them your fingers are sensitive to the nail file (my pinkies are that way). Or when you come back another time, request a different person to do your nails. I too have ran into that issue a few times, but I've found it to be an easy solve. Price wise, I typically always get some sort of design on one finger for each hand which ups the price for my acrylics depending on the complexity of the design. For example if you look at my pictures.. The orange nails with daisies for design were $24. I believe the tips were around $25. The crazy orange, green, and blue geometric design was somewhere in the $30s (the other hand was identical to it.. it took FOREVER. I don't know what I was thinking..). The maroon nails with real simple design was probably closer to $22. The Snowman was more expensive then expected, but it was a pre-prepared option of theirs at approx. $28 I believe. The red with lepard print had two fingers per hand with design so it was more expensive and for that was probably priced in the $30s. Toes if you get no fru-fru extras I believe its priced in the $30s. I however, usually get tiger balm (absolutely spectacular stuff that goes with the lotion), and often a design on the big toe which typically makes my total in the $40s. Perhaps most might consider TT Nails on the expensive side, but I've found it worth it due to the quality I've recieved. I get really bad ingrown nails and calluses on my big toes that TT Nails always takes care of beautifully (much better then when I try to handle it solo). Anyway, TT Nails has proven itself to be my favorite nail place. Not for lack of trying other places, but rather for the all around experience I have always recieved with and from TT Nails. read more

Went here with a girlfriend for manicures. She got that gal who seemed to be in charge who was very nice and communicative asking how she wanted things done and did a great job. My manicure started 20 minutes later when my gfs was almost done, even though we booked appts. My girl never have me her name. It was THE WORST manicure I've ever had in my life. I got a full set of acrylic gels which I've had several times in my life previously. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain and the gal was so rough when pushing back my cuticles I was forcing back tears. She made almost every single one of my cuticles bleed! Then she put some sort of chemical on that made my fresh cuticle cuts sting so bad that I actually cried out "ow!". The rest of the manicure was equally painful. She was so aggressive and then had the nerve to keep telling me to relax my hands while I was clearly wincing in discomfort. On top of this, a couple nails were put on crooked and it was fairly expensive compared to other places I've been, even in downtown Seattle! The damage she did on my cuticles actually CAUSED me to have a series of hang nails and ripped cuticle skin tears over the following 2 weeks! It was pure torture. Please don't go here unless you want to take your chances on getting this girl and a similar experience. read more
