I got as far as speaking with Olivia to try to make an appt for my teen daughter to get a hair trim. We've never been there before & Olivia explained their 48-hr cancelation policy & that they would need a credit card for her first time appt. I had no issue doing that, however Olivia stated that half would be $30. I asked how that is because Skye's website said $46 hair cut & $60 for cut & style, my daughter just wanted a trim. Olivia said they would have to blow dry her hair & that that is considered styling it, so it would be $60. I don't get why she wouldn't just honor their website price. I feel like instead of trying to get an extra $14 out of me that she should've just given her the appt she wanted & would have had a repeat customer instead of no customer now. Good place for a hair cut- I really like the vibe of this salon! They have tea and all the latest / trendiest hair goodies and products you need! I don't always get offered tea at an appointment or water but you can definitely ask for that and I'm sure someone will offer it. I'm deducting a star due to the previous remark and as sweet as the staff is I do feel they are a bit pricey for blowouts/style/haircuts. I don't have much hair so for me it's a splurge to come here. I believe they also charge depending on hair length and thickness which is also tricky since I'm never sure what the price will be but generally it seems to cost $60 for my past shoulder length/ halfway down my back hair yet only usually takes a half hour to cut. The staff here is friendly but it definitely is a bit pricey. My go to gal here is Delena she is very sweet and does exactly what you want with your hair! read more

My hair stylist moved to this salon; after finally tracking her down, I started getting my hair done here. Prior to knowing that, I had been referred by several friends and family members to try this place out. Some salons in the area make you feel like they're doing you a favor when you walk in and get primped by their staff. This place is not like that at all! They are friendly, accommodating, and helpful...especially when deciding how to do your hair and/or make up. I made an appointment with Ban; she has been doing my hair for years and I love her! She is talented and knowledgeable about all hair types and styles. I was getting my hair done for a wedding my first time at this salon. She did a "low" up-do for me. I got a lot of compliments on my hair and it stayed up in place and beautiful all night. I was very happy with it! I also made an appointment with Gehan to do my make-up for the same event. It worked out nicely; I got my hair done by Ban and immediately following, I got my make-up done by Gehan. I have admired Gehan's work as she's done make-up for a lot of my friends for weddings, photo shoots, and shows. She takes her time, matches all applications to your tones and any color suggestions you prefer, and does a really nice job. My make-up, as well as my hair, looked as if I just walked out of the salon by the end of the night. This is a sure sign that they use excellent products and are truly talented. My make up matched my skin perfectly, she outlined my eyes as requested, and I loved it! I have been referred to Danny numerous times, although he has never done my hair. Overall, I really like the vibe in this place and will definitely be coming back for any events I have in the future. I highly recommend making an appointment, they are full service salon. read more

One of my favorite salons, you can't really go wrong getting serviced my anyone here! The staff is nice and polite and the black and white decor adds a nice look.. feels very open and fresh. I used to go to Monique to get my hair done, cut or color.. but when she was pregnant I had to cheat on her so I have been going to Natalie for some time now. Both girls do an AH mazing job! I have also had my make up done here and I did bring extensions in to put a long braid in my hair for a party.. I have never had any issues or problems with anyone! The only down side is, you can't add tip when paying my card. So make sure you bring some cash! read more

Went for my first time yesterday and OMG it was absolutely amazing. Never going anywhere else to get my hair done. Stephanie did an unreal job with color and cut. To top it off she was super speedy so I wasn't sitting there for 3 hours. Definitely recommend this place if you have long thick hair.... a lot of places can't handle Middle Eastern hair or they do and it takes them too long. Love this salon but giving 3 stars because some hairdressers charge a bit too much. Saya cut my hair a little while ago and i didn't realize until I washed it a few days later how horrible she cut my hair. The blow out made it hard to see the ends since they were slightly curled, but my face frame was horrendous, not faded at all, looked just like two pieces from the front cut straight across. Any other hairdresser i've been to faded the face frame into the hair. I could've probably given myself a better haircut than she gave me. Definitely not worth $65 at all. Not sure how a salon with so many good hairdressers has someone like that cutting hair and charging that much. read more

I recently had a straightening/frizz treatment done on my hair to eliminate the frizz and make it easier to tame by Jennifer Abro at Salon Skye. First of all, prior to actually getting the treatment done, Jennifer was so informative and so willing to answer any and all questions I had whether it was 2 questions or 20 questions. It's definitely obvious that she does her research on the products she uses on clients, she never hesitated with any answers to the questions I had. I've never done any type of treatment on my hair but I felt really comfortable with her. The day of she explained every step of the way to make sure I knew what was happening, she did everything alone with no assistant and really took her time and didn't try to rush through the process. So now that I have washed my hair over and over, I am so happy with the treatment, I can't begin to explain what a difference this had has made for me. There is absolutely no frizz in my hair. I normally get a blowout every week and I have only gotten a blowout once for an occasion and it took half the time that it normally does for my blowout. I have been able to let my hair air dry and it looks great. It has been great especially with the summer and being in and out of the pool. I highly recommend this treatment with Jennifer, she isn't a specialist for no reason. Thank you again! read more

Honestly a little disappointed. It looked great when I left the salon, felt refreshed and was so soft, but there was no hair product used besides some heat protection and some pomade, and naturally the beautiful volume and curling that was done, and included in the cost, fell out. I have normal to fine hair that, despite getting colored to cover grays, missed strands that were then pulled out by the stylist!! I don't know, $140 with tip seems a little high for a style that I'm doing to need to redo, and for grays I'm going to need to keep pulling out anyway. Also, the conversation felt very one-sided, there was no effort made to get to know me, which you know is part of the therapy of a haircut experience. But I didn't factor that into my rating, just a little side note. read more
