For several weeks, I communicated with the owner of La Te Da. My daughter was coming in from school…read moreand needed to have some extensions. We spoke on the phone and sent pictures I sent extremely long emails explaining exactly what we needed and wanted. And what we got was a $1188 bill for ONE ROW OF BUTTERFLY for $850 which took her five minutes to put in -she slapped them in so quick my daughter was in shock. She said if it took her longer than 5- 10 minutes she would've been shocked. Hair color for my daughter was $85 for red hair color and then another $55 to put temporary color on her extensions literally a glaze. Not even a real color. My daughter wanted cake chips, but the owner insisted that the butterflies would be better for her hair because K tips rip your hair out. The first bead that she put in my daughter's hair was front right side and it was extremely tight. It hurt all night long and we called back the next day and they got us in with Lake. Lake was able to adjust that bead and then tighten up another bead that had already slipped down within 24 hours. My daughter's hair color did not match her extensions either even though they were done at the same time by the same person at the same Salon. Her extensions were several shades lighter. So that was adjusted. She also adjusted the tightness on the one extension and cut my daughter's bangs straight. We then tipped Lake $20. This is an addition to the tip that we gave the owner on $1000+ bill. We asked several times about the extensions. They were supposed to be wavy or have body to them. They are stick straight so my daughter's hair is very wavy and she has straight extensions. I asked several times for them to double check what kind of extensions they put in her hair and supposedly they were textured which is different than being or having body wave. My daughter has been very careful with her extensions. She has been braiding them and keeping them dry and just being all around very careful. This morning she looked and she could see that the bead that was put in too tight to begin with, and then adjusted had torn out a lot of her hair and she used a tool that I ordered for her to release the bead. She remove the bead and collected her broken pulled out hair. We are now going to have to pay to go someplace to have this addressed, which means more money. It is so frustrating that real Color wasn't used - so now as she washes her hair each time the extensions will get lighter and lighter and using the glaze will only darken her natural hair, so the extensions will continue to always be too light, too straight, and apparently ripping her hair out. Not once has the owner spoken to me. She has the sweet girl at the reception desk. That's always mediating. I asked for something as simple as the color that they used on her hair so that we could duplicate it and we didn't even get a response to that..

To my surprised, especially as I walked in my hair not done, looking a total mess. I needed a haircut desperately. It had been over 6 months. When I met Brian he was very friendly I could see he's very professional & sweet but best of all he is truly a wonderful hair stylist Brian did my hair so quickly & yet such a great cut. I only went in for a bottle spray cut. I wanted to do blonde highlights to kind of drown out my grays I have growing in. I wish I would've gone to a different colorist because I am heartbroken from my results.
