She is meticulous and checks in often with your expected vision and provides feedback. I have also seen Megan for highlights for the first time and she was patient with me explaining the process for someone new to color. Everyone is so kind and welcoming here. The salon is also such a cute, fun vibe too. They sell more than hair products with jewelry, bags, and other accessories. Perfect place to buy a holiday gift card for family and friends. I've been really into hair tinsel lately, but didn't want to do it myself, so when my last set started to fall out, I knew I just had to get more. I found myself in Chandler with some time to kill, so I thought why not look for a salon who can take me in today? I did a quick Yelp search and called a few places that offered hair tinsel. Salon Terrene was the only one who had availability that day as well as great pricing so I booked an appointment! They were able to squeeze me in as their last client. The salon is cozy, warm, and welcoming. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Once in the chair, they showed me all their available colors, which they had a ton of. I chose a deep pink shade and about 10 or so tinsels. The hair stylist was very thorough and carefully attached the tinsel strands one at a time. I was in the chair for no more than 30 minutes! The tinsels lasted a little over a month. Most of them fell out within a month or less and some faded over time, both of which are normal, so I definitely recommend getting at least 10 strands! read more

Came in for a haircut after not having one in about a year (oops). My stylist was SO kind and the vibes of this salon are immaculate. Laid back but aesthetic and every single person was so welcoming. Prices are competitive with other salons and I really felt like my stylist listened to not only the style I was looking for but also what cut would fit best with my lifestyle. It's been about 2 years since I have gotten my haircut, and I was so excited to find a place in my new neighborhood that I could get both my haircut and A Lash lift done in the same appointment! I didn't need anything too special just a trim and some layers and Brielle did an awesome job and really made sure that I was happy at the end of the appointment. Sometimes stylists make you feel bad about wanting an adjustment but she truly cared about what I thought and made a small adjustment that I had requested and I love the haircut! I had my lash lift with Diana and she was the sweetest! My eyes are super sensitive and so they were very watery and dry and she took really great care of me to make sure that I was comfortable and happy with it. This is a cute salon. I have been getting my nails done by Ashley for a few months. Ashley is excellent, she does a great job every time. I'm impressed with how detailed and meticulous she is. I always receive compliments on my nails. Front desk check in is quick and friendly. Ashley is always on time for my appointments which is always an issue at other salons. The salon is small which also has a tiny parking lot and the salon can be extremely loud on certain days. Loud noises make me uncomfortable so I try to find my zen before my appointment. read more

I have been going to Salon Terrene for many years now. It has always been a quaint setting that feels comfortable to come as I am. This is a very different experience from the studio salon setting. Recently I had my usual nail appointment with Ashley Beck. She always is very creative and listens to my needs. Her work is impeccable which means less frequency in my appointments. My nails hold up flawlessly for at least 4 weeks or more. I also have regular pedicures with Ashley...so RELAXING. At my last visit, I had a lip wax from Katie. Another Salon Terrene gem. I was amazed at how painless this experience was and how thorough her work was. For the past TEN YEARS I have always had Megan to address my hair care needs. I trust her so much. She is currently on LOA and I needed to change temporally. I have been working with Shelly and am so relieved she is as talented as Megan with very fine hair (those of us with fine hair know how disastrous it can be to have the wrong stylist). They use clean products that don't smell like chemicals and everyone is welcoming and so helpful. read more

TLDR: Excellent service. They clearly care about their customers here. I was a long-time customer at Salon Terrene a few years ago when it was the Pampered Pinkie. They did a really great job, so I decided to start getting my hair cut there again after the prices at my other salon increased. When I scheduled my appointment, there was a misunderstanding that left me feeling disappointed. However, the next day, I received a nice voicemail from the owner, Megan, wanting to resolve the issue. I returned the call and spoke with the manager, Nicole, who kindly asked how they could make it right. I am so appreciative for their understanding and concern for their customers' happiness. It's a good salon super cute & everyone is really nice but it's expensive for what it is. They charge for everything little thing. I initially booked for structured manicure + design on 2 nails (2 total = 1 per hand) and when getting there I showed my tech an inspo photo (French tip with a minimal sparkle design), clarified that I only wanted two finger design and I said yes, but she didn't inform me that there was an up-charge for french tip. So the price I saw through vagaro was $67, when I went to go pay I was charged $74. It was fine, I just wasn't expecting the price difference. And for what I got I feel like $74 was a lot. Again, they were nice just wish I was told about an upcharge before checkout. read more

What a treat! I was in town for a few days and searched Yelp for a salon near me. This little gem popped up and somehow had an opening for my desperate toes on NYE! Yay! I was lucky enough to have Shelly S. work some magic on my toes and tired legs. She was so sweet and friendly, and reminded me of someone who the world would love on her own HGTV show. The location is charming and boutique. Wonderful, comfortable oversized chairs, plants and hand woven baskets adorn the walls, transporting me to a hip version of the southwest. UPDATED: Jessie called and followed up on my review and invited me in to redo my service. I decided to schedule another appointment in and had Cassandra as my nail expert. She took detailed care with shaping my nails and applying the gel polish. Her massage was wonderful and relaxing and she was a joy to chat with. This service really redeemed the salon in my book. Obviously, it will be a few days before I see how the polish will hold, but it looks rock solid and I'm excited to rock this neutral. I've followed this place on instagram for quite some time and was excited for my first visit. I'm a bit underwhelmed with the service for the Le Petit Gel Mani. The hand massage was basically just lotion being rubbed into my skin with no actual massage. Two days later I noticed were there wasn't a good seal between the gel and my nail. The polish was already separating from the corners of my nails. My gel, which should normally last me 2 weeks before signs of chipping, didn't make it a week.
