It's horrible from the start, thought I would surprise my daughter & wife and found this salon,…read moreworst day of my life for both. we thought this person was a professional (Lisa van pelt) should have her license revoke, she kept on saying it's $90 for her full color (B.S.) by the time she was done it skyrocketed to $150 and her hair looked worse than when she first came in (she says she had to do the color twice) if she did the color twice it would of showed) I want my wife's hair to look and feel great (like a million bucks) and I am willing to pay for it but when you're not honest from the beginning then I have a problem with that, I could see the heart ache in her eyes and no man wants to see that look, she tried her one more time and again it was a disaster not only for her but for my daughter too they dazzle you with the way the shop looks and all that fancy talk but they are amateur's at best and Lisa doesn't know what she is doing so she chargers more for her time and with little or no results to show for it but a larger bill, the color was all wrong, all wrong her hair was turned into a dirty sponge color WOW UNBELIEVEABLE I don't know what she (lisa) thinks she doing but it's all wrong my wife would of been better to go to a barber, and for my daughter OMG her hair cut was the lousiest cut I have ever seen, I could of cut her hair better than that "not kidding" over charge her as well for a crappy haircut, It was the worst day certainly of my life I didn't know what to say I just wanted both of them to look their very best ( as woman should) and I got instead was a disaster, I'm am still to this day apologizing for their hair when I should be making them feel great and all I did was try to make an appointment for them(because their salon was closing down and I was trying to help because my wife still works) It was to say the worst day of my life (not exaggerating) and instead of being honest about their lousy misdoings lisa says "oh by the way were moving to Benton Harbor on plaza dr."my wife (god bless her soul and my daughter too) wanted to give them one more chance to right this ship but it SANK when lisa didn't even call to remind us that they had a appointment until that day passed on by it was like she already knew what she had done, she (lisa) might have a bubbly personality, but no skill set, once again my wife wants me to find her and my daughter a salon ( I was grateful both of them trusted me) I guess it's like a restaurant, looks great from the outside but it screams RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN and don't come back ever, she should of got a job at a horse farm because she knows how to shovel shit. And that was our experience with lisa van pelt at Statements lounge. And if I could give her a zero I would but I would be lying. There's got to be a salon out there that cares enough, who professional enough, and is not all smoke and mirrors. If anyone out there knows of one please respond to me thank you for your time

She matched my hair color so well, even without having to bring out a color swatch...I was super impressed. Her and her associate even teamed up to get my hair color on pronto for even application (I have a lot of hair). Bonus for NOT over trimming my long hair, even though I know it wasn't her personal preference for me.
