Wow I'm so disappointed. I called this business hoping to make an appointment because I am brand new in town and do not currently have somewhere I can go to get my hair done. I talked to kaylyn. She said she would have to talk to her stylist and get back to me. She texted me later that night and said that her stylist just got back with her and that there were no open appointments. She didn't even try to see if I was interested in having something at a different time or a different day. So I told her that I was willing to do it at a later date and no reply. I called and got an appointment the next day with another stylist (megan) and have been using her for a couple months. In the 3 appointments I've had with her she had to rearrange my appointment, tried to cancel due to a cold and now have just canceled my last appointment which I had to make a month out because she has a limited schedule. I know things happen but it's been something with every appointment. Now she just canceled my appointment that I've been waiting a month for and was just oh I'm sorry our schedules no longer align byeee. read more

This review is totally over due. I only get my hair done once a year, maybe twice. I'm not super picky, but I do anticipate my color will last a while being that I don't go all that often. I found the salon via Yelp and figured I'd give it a shot. I was referred to Megan. She's done my hair 3x now and I'm always incredibly impressed. Tried to do a walk in and the staff member was just plain rude. She ignored us for a good 5-10 minutes and then asked if we "needed something". After telling her we came in for a hair cut she proceeded to tell us that she was booked for the day and then went back to curling hair as if we weren't there. Wow, I don't know where to begin. I have hated my hair since 2016. I have been to 4 different hair salons and everytime my hair turned out brassy and orange. I would go in with a picture asking them to do it and it would come out so bad they would ask me to come back in 2 weeks. That happened 3 times! In an effort to save money I thought I would lighten my own hair. Messed it up so bad! I dyed it orange and freaked out. I found out this salon has online booking because my mom went to see Wendy the day before and her hair turned out great. She gave me the business card and I was dissappointed that the next appointment was 2 days away. I booked it anyway. Got a text immediately saying see could see me the very next day. The salon itself is very cute and very clean. I showed Malori (specializes in highlights) what I did to my hair and a few pictures of what I would like. She spent 4 HOURS lifting out the mess I made and then adding the right colors. The highlights and overall color turned out great. Nobody would guess that she was just fixing a mess, no sign of the orange. She even flat ironed it and gave me some layers. It was all a very very reasonable price. She did an amazing job and I will be recommending her to everyone I know. Wendy is great as well, my mom is always happy. Just go to the website and put in what you are looking for and they match you up with a stylist. This place is most definitely worth every penny. read more

I was in a wedding in Lodi & needed to get my hair done. I went to a different salon that did a bad job w/ a simple blowout w/ big bouncy curls. When I went to the bride's house very disappointed, there was Kaitlyn & soon my hair would be saved! I asked Kaitlyn if she could foxy his disaster & she did. She gave me the look I wanted. Love this little salon. It's pretty darn cute inside! I go to Jena to get my hair cut. She's awesome, knows what she's doing and is very friendly. I have shorter hair, and she's had short hair in the past so she knows how to cut it... Even if my hair fights it! When Jena wasn't able to cut my hair, she recommended Cassie. I took my sister-in-law with me to get her hair styled for my wedding day, and both of our hair came out fantastic. My hair looked perfect all day. My sister's stayed put until she took it out at night, and was so cute. Another lady helped Cassie with my sister's hair, I never caught her name but she did a really good job. read more

SNOTTY OWNER WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE The owner Wendy is often late to her own appointments, which she never ever apologizes for. She will also text confirm your apts and if you don't respond immediately she will give your appt way and blame you for not responding immediately! Besides being late to her own appts she has text me 10 mins before my appt to tell me her credit card swipe isn't working and that if I don't have cash she'll have to reschedule me? Are you kidding me?! Final straw, today she text me she's would be 20 mins late, which I accepted. Then I text her after to tell I'm going to be a 5 mins late to the new time. What does she do? She starts her next client instead and had the nerve to tell me she has a tight schedule?! I didn't mention she always has a disgusted look on her face no matter what time of the day it is and I've seen her treat walk in customers with questions like they are a total bother to her. If you're asking why I stayed with Mrs. W, well in all fairness she's a brilliant stylist. Usually I'm a basket case going to a new stylist (due to many botched colors/ haricuts), but as soon as I stepped into the salon, I felt completely confident in her capable hands. She gave me beautiful highlights & haircut. She LISTENED to what I was saying & squeezed me in on short notice, too! I was so happy to leave the salon feeling beautiful again. The whole salon was welcoming with no "too cool" vibe. The pricing was amazing! It was less than I thought it was going to be considering the level of service provided. I love wendy! I have long hair, get bored with it and like changing up the color often. Wendy jokes that I am going to give her a heart attack with my ideas (Dark, light, medium, light, dark which ever) I also really enjoy her personality, I moved to Lodi a few years ago and found Wendy by chance. She will make you feel comfortable instantly and talk to you like she has known you for years. I have several hairstylist friends who have worked with my hair and I am sad to say most of them have damaged it. Wendy is by far one of the best stylists I've had do my hair. The shop is comfortable and adorable as well. She has outstanding prices and you would think moving down here would cost a fortune to do your hair as I lived 3 hours north. I was happy with the price which makes what she does even more fab! ;-) Salon W! Also I would like to point out to the person furious with no phone calls back, this happens with all Salons. Typically I get my stylists direct number like her cell phone and call or text her. My friends and one of my sisters that do hair have told me sometimes they forget to call back due to being so busy and it is easier for them to look at text messages at the end of a shift or break to remember to schedule an appointment. My best friend that does hair wouldn't call me back if I called her shop. Most stylists have a card with a cell phone number on it. Less confusion! read more
