Normally love this place! They never mess up, they're super generous and the best in town. But today I had an appointment booked at 9am that I had for a week, I showed up at 8:59 and the door was locked. I saw someone unlocked it a couple minutes later and when I told them I had an appointment at 9 the receptionist told me my appointment was at 8:45 and my hair stylist left? Why didn't they call me? I am embarrassed that this would happen and the receptionist did not even apologize and rescheduled me for two weeks. read more

Just finished my Mom and I's nail appointments at Salon West and can't say enough great things about Paige. My mom has anxiety and can be very antsy while getting her nails done and Paige and Ashley make her feel comfortable and welcome every single time she comes in (every 3 weeks). Paige's patience and kindness with my mom are amazing and as a customer I appreciate the extra time she takes to make her feel relaxed and not in a rush. She could easily be impatient and pushy to get other clients in but instead she treats my mom with respect and sincerity. In terms of pricing I think they are fair prices and they do a great job! They also focus more on quality work rather than quantity so they are never rushing to get your nails done.. they truly want you to be satisfied with whatever service you receive. I booked hair appointments here for myself and my bridesmaids for my wedding. They did an fine job, however I was charged more than I was quoted. On top of that a couple of my bridesmaids were charged and extra $20 an updo for having "long hair." This extra charge was not mentioned to me when I called for a quote and I was horrified that I had to learn about it days later from one of my bridesmaids. I was really unimpressed with this and I feel it is very unprofessional. read more

In the past, I have gone to so many salons where I left upset, let down and to be honest ready to cry. I was sure I just had my expectations too high. I needed my hair done badly ( it had been a couple of years since I had gone to any salon.) My hair is poker straight, and thinning badly in the front and to add even more fun to my train wreck hair, I have mousy brown hair with red highlights that is greying. I walked in just hoping to get a perm to fill in the very thin spots. I knew I'd have to wait a couple of weeks for color after a perm. My stylist was Lacy. I walked in and immediately the receptionist made me feel welcome and at ease. Lacy listened to my hair "dreams", and understood my problem with my thinning hair, color and poker straight hair. After my two appointments, one for a perm and cut and the next for highlights. For the first time in about 15 years, I LOVE my hair. I wish we could post photo's on here so I could show other ladies with thinning hair, the before and after's. When Lacy finished my hair at the second appointment, I sat in the chair ready to cry tears of joy. My hair looks AMAZING. I type this now ready to go back for my root touch ups and to get more beautiful highlights. If you want a stylist who will do your hair, their way without listening to YOUR needs go elsewhere.
