Quesadillas, nachos, patatas bravas and grilled shrimp
    Halima D.

Went there with a friend on a trip day for a quick lunch. Took some time to order and get our food but it was so good! The prices made us think that it was small portions ... it wasn't! We both had to ask for doggybags and finally our quick lunch lasted an hour and a half but totally worth it. And it was very delicious, honestly the quesadilla even hauntes me sometimes (that's how good it was haha)

Salsa is a decent club. I went on a Saturday night and my friends and I were looking for good Latin music but instead we got half Latin half commercial/top 40. Which was ok, but not ideal. The interior of the bar is beautiful and definitely fits the vibe of the whole place. The bar is absolute chaos, which may have just been because it was so crowded, but I think they could throw an extra bartender or two in there to get people in and out faster. Also they only had one credit card machine so they had to wait until another customer was done to ring up someone else- this definitely slowed things down. That being said the staff was very friendly and the drinks we had were quite good. I appreciated that they had a wide mix of cocktails. I also think they should add like two extra tables in the corners of the dance floor to leave your empty drinks. There were too many empty glasses rolling around on the floor and that felt dangerous. All in all it's a decent club but I hope they fix the things I mentioned above.

Came here from the reviews on Yelp while traveling in London on a Friday night. Sometimes they have a live band. There are A LOT of beginners, which means many people without courtesy on the dance floor. The place had a good size dance floor. The bartenders were slow. I just wanted water and it took quite a long time. Entry price was great. Overall, ok place, but if you can only go to dance salsa at one location, go someplace else.

Go for the salsa and other dance lessons but not the food! The wings are okay but the nachos are a hot mess.

The flavors are the closest to the authentic Latin creations I grew up eating, yet also manage to add their own unique and delicious twists to make them pop even more. The ingredients are carefully selected, paired well, and cooked to perfection to make every dish unforgettable. For my first run, I tried the Seared Braised Beef with julienned crispy potatoes, which reminds me of the Lomo Saltado we do in California. The beef is tender and succulent, salty & flavorful, and topped with sliced roasted veggies. The crispy potatoes are amazing, too, but I wish there had been more. This is also the first restaurant I've been to in London that serves fried yuca (cassava) since I moved here... and that was more than 4 years ago. If you're hungry, get this as your side. Brownie points to them for using truffle oil to give them that little extra flair. The drinks don't disappoint, either. Their cocktails are utilizing "better" versions of Latin spirits (think Fair Quinoa Vodka), which means they're slightly pricier but also offer a more varied experience. The wine list is also plentiful, so pick your poison. Given the lively nature of its environment, it's definitely a restaurant for the social experience. However, reservations in advance are strongly recommended, whether you're coming alone or in a group. The ONLY downside I could find about this place was their complete lack of alternative milks. So, if you want something other than dairy to go with your tea or coffee, you're out of luck. In my case, I ended up opting for their Espressini cocktail with Fair Trade Coffee Liqueur instead. I know. What a sacrifice.

Highly, highly recommend if you're in town or live in London.

While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the experience is undeniably worth every penny, especially if you're looking for a night of shared dishes, attentive service, and great atmosphere. the mood is perfect for an intimate dinner or a celebration with friends, as it was when i came here for my birthday! the guac was prepared on the table, and had a great freshness to it, but was not worth the money imo bc it tasted pretty ordinary to me. same for the antichuchos de pollo - they were so small and tasted like regular skewers to me - they had a nice smoky flavor, but nothing that couldn't be achieved at home easily. i liked the trio de maiz, which had many different types of maiz, and was presented beautifully! the dish was very fresh and almost nutty. also liked their take on patatas bravas, which was perfectly crispy and with a delicious creamy sauce. love love loved the tiradito de pez limon, which had the most melt in your mouth yellowtail crudo/sashimi. it was paired with an amazing slightly spicy green chili sauce, and overall flavors were phenomenal. the orange tobiko wasn't there though... the salmon was one of the best things i had that night - perfectly cooked and tender, melty and delicious! amazing flavor pairings, scrumptious overall! dessert was one of the highlights of the meal as well. the churros were citrusy and fried to perfection, and paired with a great sauce. my personal favorite was the passionfruit mango pavlova thing, which had such a bright tartness! everything was served on what looked like homemade pottery, so lovely! the price point seemed a little irrational for what we received, but everything was delicious, and the overall experience was amazing! highly recommend if you're feeling a bit posh or just want to treat yourself!

Our server was nice enough and service was quite quick, especially given how busy it was. The chicken fajita stack was probably the best tasting food we got. The table side guac was nice but overpriced for the size. However there were a few cons; Very loud location so was a bit hard to have a decent conversation. They don't have great a-la-carte options. The tacos would be great if you didn't have to pick two of the same flavour and if there was an option to add an extra taco. The crispy fish tacos were really bland. The chicken wings weren't crispy at all. The portion size of the padron peppers is definitely smaller than it used to be. 4 peppers for £4.20 is crazy! Fine for a quick Mexican food fix but definitely not authentic cuisine.

The decor is classic and comfortable, not stuffy. And for all the food being cooked nearby, ventilation is excellent because we did not smell of roasted food when we left! We especially liked the beef, pork crackling of the pork chop (the "eye" of the chop dried out, but still tasted nice), and the melt-in-your mouth lamb. Being able to sit at the counter and watch them make the meats is just such a treat, and I cannot wait to come back for a meal that is not Sunday Roast. In addition to the typical Sunday Roast items, they have a few fun additional possibilities including goat cheese tacos and burnt end tacos which you should most definitely get while you're here! The mint sauce for the lamb, horseradish for the roast beef, and apple sauce for the pork are all great, but they also have a homemade chili sauce that you can ask for that goes splendidly on the cauliflower if you're feeling in the mood for something a bit spicy. Though my strong suggestion is do the goat cheese tacos over the cauliflower - they're to die for. The roast beef is my favorite of the meats followed by the Lamb, however my wife loved the Pork. Not hard to order all three - someone I talked to was not impressed with the chicken, but I don't eat much chicken to begin with. Cocktails are good and so is the coffee - dessert is even better! Chocolate mousse was absolutely a dream.
