We had a lot of work to do together over the 8 months, but Cortney made it all possible (and enjoyable as well)! Also worth mentioning - as Bay Area-based clients planning a wedding in Los Angeles, we especially appreciated how seamlessly Cortney supported us through every step of the long-distance planning process. Cortney is infectiously positive and genuinely committed to helping you execute a wedding that feels like you. We came to her with a lot of specific, unconventional ideas -- the kind that a more traditional wedding planner might have pushed back on or struggled to execute. She embraced every single one of them, helped us shape them into something cohesive, and made us feel like no vision was too much to ask for. That willingness to truly work with us rather than steer us toward something more conventional made all the difference. Every person who attended has told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to -- and as cliché as it sounds, it was genuinely the best day of our lives. I have to admit, Mi was the second or third florist I spoke to while planning for my wedding so I was expecting to go through the same boring Q&A dance as I had done previously. But Mi was different from the other florists. She was very passionate and proud of her work. Even after learning that we had a smaller budget for flowers than most brides (I'm not a flowers type of gal), she was still 100% attentive and worked with me in choosing arrangements that fit both my budget and style. She took the time to understand the style I was going for and offered suggestions/alternatives that I didn't even know existed. On the day of the wedding, everyone was blown away by EVERYTHING -- the bouquets, ceremony flowers, centerpieces, boutonniere, etc. My mom, who is a retired florist, absolutely loved Mi's work and kept taking pictures of everything just so that she can admire them afterwards. The flowers were better than we could have imagined and she even elegantly wrapped flowers we purchased last minute. She stayed around until the end of the evening to make sure that there were no hiccups with the flower arrangements (not that it was needed) and made sure the flowers looked as they were freshly plucked. We found Kat before the lockdown at a bridal expo and immediately hit it off. She was so easy to talk to and personable. It was important to us to like our coordinator and she fit the bill! We hired her right away as a day-of coordinator and shortly after, the pandemic hit us. We had to postpone our wedding date for THREE YEARS. She honored her original price and stuck with us the whole time. When it came time to start planning again she was right there ready to go. She encouraged us to reach out to her about any questions we had about any aspect of the wedding. She was available via email, text, phone call, you name it. Planning a wedding is like a small infinity of work. Each task seems to generate three or four more tasks. But Kat was there with answers and options to help us navigate the whole experience. It was certain that nothing would go wrong, and nothing did. Not a single thing was missed. On the day of, I could swear there were twenty copies of her and she'd been working since 5am. She came with two assistants and so while she was busy managing me and the bride, and both our wedding parties, and our parents, she was also managing her team.
