Chicken boneless biriyani, tika masala, and vindaloo curry chicken.

Brought my daughters to eat here today and it was as good as the last time. We even have leftovers. I had the chicken boneless Biriyani (my favorite).

One of the few places open during Thanksgiving day! So that was a plus in my book! + Biryani portion is fairly large! And packed with spice including mint. One of the tastier biryani I've had. I wish the curry and yogurt that came with it were larger as it's a lot of biryani... + Naan and chicken masala were up to snuff. + Friendly staff - The waiter who brought the food to us needs to be a little more thoughtful when holding the dishes as I could see his fingers slightly touching the food, fortunately we didn't get sick. If you do make it up this far north in Austin, definitely give them a shot

That first bite of Kashmiri naan was like stumbling upon a secret spice route in my own neighborhood - jewels of pistachio and apricot embedded in pillowy dough, each chew releasing whispers of cardamom and saffron. We devoured it so fast, the waiter blinked twice at our empty basket before bringing a second round "for protection." Why This Place Shines: Naan Royalty - Their version puts other bread baskets to shame (ask for the "dirty" cut - extra charred edges) Hospitality Alchemy - Staff who remember how you like your chai by the second visit Controlled Chaos - The tandoor's fiery maw visible from every table, chefs slinging dough like circus performers

It was time to introduce my youngest grandson to Indian Food. I felt he would get the best experience at Salt N Pepper -a short drive to Cedar Park and we were there! The huge menu is easily seen above the counter however since we were dining in we were advised we could simply take a seat and use the digital app to obtain the menu. We took a comfortable booth and a server came over to offer assistance. She also brought us complimentary bottled waters. I asked her to make some recommendations to my grandson -as to some of the more common foods, he may want to try. She was very nice and very helpful. I asked her for time to make decisions and she said she would gladly come back to take our order. (You can also order right through that digital menu.) I did ask her to return, which she did after giving us a few minutes to make decisions. I think Indian food is designed to share so that is exactly what we decided to do. We both just wished there were more of us so that we could've opted for many dishes, as it was very hard to choose. My grandson wanted to try a curry so he requested the family, friendly, chicken curry, we also ordered samosas. What's your filmed with aromatics along with peas and potato encased in a crunchy delicious pastry. I ordered a Dosa after discussing it with our server, she explained it as a large round light pastry and you could get a filling inside which we chose one of the vegetarian ones that she mentioned. We didn't need any naan ----but had to order it because even if we needed to take it home, I knew it would be delicious. Our Samosas arrived and hot, with dipping sauces, accompanying them one a milder green sauce, and the other a savory orange sauce and was addictive and built heat on the back of your tongue. Next came the bowl of chicken curry with a nice bowl of rice that accompanied it. Our butter naan and garlic naan also arrived. On the third trip back to us came the dosa. Oh my goodness -I was shocked although she had described it is a large & round- I had no idea how big it was actually going to be!!! It was rolled up like a crepe , with a large mound of vegetarian deliciousness in the middle. It was huge! The chicken curry was mild as ordered, but still held spices that made it very flavorful. The chicken was moist and delicious. I don't think my grandson had ever seen long grain rice, and he asked about it. After tasting it, he agreed that it was very flavorful and perfect for the curry. We both begin to tear off pieces of the Dosa. I wasn't really sure how to eat it, but we worked our way through a very large portion of it!!! It was really good and it came with three different dipping sauces one that was ginger one that was garlicky and one that was lentil forward. That one was definitely my favorite and my grandson enjoyed all three! I discussed the dosa a little bit further with our server, and she advised that it's quite often a breakfast item. I could easily imagine that. We ended up with To Go containers of the curry and rice and a portion of the Dosa as well. My grandson declared that he definitely enjoyed his first taste of Indian food and would like to return so it was a very successful venture!!!!

Still an awesome value for the quality and quantity of food we get, and we appreciate the adjustable spice levels! I like extra spicy, and they gave me the "make the gori cry" level, and the Hop Queen likes extra mild, and it fits her tolerance well.

The portion sizes were generous too, so you definitely get good value for your money. Service - 10/10: The service really stood out. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience. They checked in on us throughout the meal without being intrusive, which made us feel well taken care of. Ambiance - 7/10: The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but the atmosphere is fairly simple. It's not a place I'd choose for a fine dining experience, but it's perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. One small change that could make a big difference would be swapping the bright white lighting for warmer yellow lighting--it would instantly create a cozier, more inviting vibe. Overall: If you're craving authentic North Indian food in the Austin area, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Great food, excellent service, generous portions, and a satisfying dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

There was one customer waiting, and not another person. I waited about ten minutes. My son loves chicken Tikka masala, so we ordered him some. It is spicy. I'm into a moderate spice, and this is burning my lips as I type. There was no option when ordering online to determine level of spice so we weren't ready for that. Beyond the spice the chicken was tough, so even if the spice was toned down the chicken wasn't great. The tandoori chicken is nice and flavorful and tender. $17 for three drumsticks and two thighs might be a bit steep. Overall not an overwhelmingly good experience.

Our server, Pushpa, was exceptional - he was kind and patient with the kids, and very attentive to our table. I appreciated him going above and beyond. We ordered the kids the cheese dosa combo, which is served with fries and either gobi 65 or chicken lollipop, and an ice cream. Both kids loved the dosa, and finished their meals happily. We also ordered: 1. hariyali paneer kebab for appetizer - my partner loved this but I thought it was mediocre and a bit tough/chewy. 2. nagas special chicken curry - delicious! Loved this one. It hits, especially on a cold day. Beware that medium spice level is actually pretty spicy. Served with rice. 3. nagas special goat curry - my partner ate this as I don't eat goat. She said this was ok, and that she preferred the chicken curry. The only negative is that the food took a LONG time (over an hour) to arrive, hence I am docking one star. Our server told us there is only one chef, which makes no sense for a Saturday night. They do need to address this.

We went there on a weekday dinner around 8pm. They just had the grand opening couple of days ago. We ordered masala dosa and veg uttpam. Both items came quickly. I was really amazed to see their plate and utensils. Sambhar came in a really big bowl and all 3 chutneys (coconut, peanut, tomato) were also good. The waitress came to check in on us after few mins. We provided her feedback. Restaurant is spacious and restrooms were clean. Location is good as lot of Indian families in this area but good competition as well with other south Indian restaurant. They also have bunch of pastry and snacks options pre made and available at the counter. Its a women owned restaurant. Really nice to see another good restaurant in this area.
