This place opened just about 6 months ago. When my husband requested kebabs for his birthday treat, I discovered Tandoor online. We were both highly impressed. My husband ordered the mix platter and the kebabs were tender, well cooked, well flavored, and filling. I, being vegetarian, ordered their weekend special of aloo-Poori-Chana-halwa and had an excellent meal. My family is from Delhi and these flavors reminded me of visiting my grandmother growing up. The service was excellent and the ambiance is so cute. It felt like being in an upscale Dhaba. You have to order the tea while there - what a fun and unique presentation. And also, prices are so reasonable for the quantity and quality they are providing. 5 whole hearted stars and thank you to the owners for providing this excellent experience.

Went around 5:30pm for early dinner and food was good. Diljit Dosanjh songs were playing and coincidentally his concert was today in Dallas. Service was decent.

This new Pakistani restaurant in Cedar Park offers a lovely ambiance and friendly service. Unique ethnic art, decor and fixtures surround the space. Dishes are presented beautifully - small table burners to keep curries piping hot, lovely chai service for two in a beautiful pot served with parle biscuits, and more. The menu was thoughtfully curated. The food was sadly lacking in my opinion. Chicken Malai Boti was tender but lacked flavor. Beef seekh kabab was overcooked and chewy. Mutton korma was unexpectedly tangy with an overwhelming flavor profile. The silver lining were the generous portion sizes (easily lasts two meals) and reasonable prices.

I been wanting to try this Pakistani place for a while now. And I am glad I did. Tucked in a huge shopping center but great corner location easy to find. Ambiance was really good for being a desi restaurant. We ordered Shadi wala mutton, paneer tikka and chicken seekh kababs along with tandoori roti and mango lassi. Everything tasted delicious and the service was really good. I will be back to try more different foods

Food was a slam dunk. Came here for Indian food that's healthy. Got white basmati rice and chicken Bihari boti which is bbq and marinated chicken breast chucks. Flavorful and succulent with good tenderness. Along with the chutney supplied to me (I think one is yogurt cilantro and one is tamarind, the meal was scrumptious. Service was quick and professional as well as friendly. Ambiance was relaxed and airy for a weekday lunch. I'll definitely be back!

We tried this place on the web and we're not disappointed. Being Caucasian, we're not exactly sure of the difference between Pakistani and Indian food, but our server was able to explain the difference and we really enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambience of the restaurant itself. We were so happy that they were able to take the time to explain all the different options and give us some suggestions.

We tried their soft open menu and ordered the Dahi Puri, Chicken Biryani, Mixed Grill Platter, and the obligatory Mango Lassi. The Dahi Puri description mentioned potatoes, but it felt more like chickpeas--either way, they were pretty tasty. Personally, I prefer a different style from another region, but these were enjoyable. The Chicken Biryani was fantastic--Pakistani-style but with potatoes, which really elevated the flavors. As any Bengali will tell you, the potatoes make the biryani and they are not wrong! The Mixed Grill Platter was also well done. My favorite was the Beef Bihari Kabab, with its paste-like texture. The Chicken Malai Boti was soft and creamy, while the Chicken Tikka was marinated as expected. I do wish the platter came with at least two naan or parathas, instead of having to buy them separately. The Mango Lassi was delicious, though I only managed to get one sip before my kid claimed the rest! One suggestion would be to offer more kid-friendly items, as most of the regular menu options are a bit too spicy for the little ones. Price-wise, it came out to around $28 per person with tax and tips. The service was attentive and checked in for feedback throughout the meal, which I appreciated. There's some Instagram-worthy decor giving off a cool chic vibe. I'll definitely be coming back to try other items and, of course, have the biryani again! For those with dietary restrictions, all meats are halal.

First time coming to Tandoor after seeing the influencers rave about it. The restaurant serves mainly Pakistan and Northern Indian cuisines. We came at 1pm on Saturday and it wasn't crowded but only had a few tables occupied. The interior was really new and had a nice decor to it. We ordered chai for 2, and it came out in a very traditional way. It also tasted authentic too. For entrees, we ordered the beef nihari curry and grilled platter including beef seekh , tikka chicken and the beef Bihari roll. The curry was spicy, but I think it lacked some spice flavor to it. We did enjoy the beef Bihari roll a lot, it was so tender. As for the beef seekh and tikka chicken, it was a bit dry. Service was accommodating and decent. If we were to come back, we would go for the beef Bihari roll and try out the chicken Bihari roll and chai. Definitely a nice addition to Cedar Park!

One of the most difficult decisions for any large event is "Who is making the food?" For us, it was serendipitous....a chance meeting with their catering manager at their resturant...made everything fall into place. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Tandoor's Catering Team for our son's graduation party, and I can confidently say working with them was one of the best decisions we made for the event. From the very beginning, the process was seamless. Communication was clear and responsive, and they made everything incredibly easy from planning to execution. They were willing to customize certain dishes and made sure we were supported through the whole process. (Texting was a preferred method, it kept all asks and methods aligned.) One of the highlights was the tasting session they offered before the event -- a great chance to try out different menu options and fine-tune everything to our liking. It really set the tone for the level of professionalism and attention to detail they bring to their work. Their mango lemonade something i never considered and it was a huge hit! On the day of the event, Tandoor showed up with a full team who handled the entire setup beautifully. Three stations, appetizers, diner and desserts. The chafing dishes, were beautiful. They added their own esthetic to our event. The team didn't just drop off the food -- they created a welcoming and well-organized dining experience that fit perfectly with our celebration. Throughout the evening, their staff kept the food and drinks fully stocked, ensuring no guest ever had to wait or go without. The food itself was exactly what we had discussed -- 8 dishes, hot, tasty and made to specifications we requested. They were full of flavor, beautifully presented, and served at the right temperature... The drink options were just as we had requested, and everything flowed smoothly all night long. Our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was! And at the end of the evening, Tandoor's team handled all the cleanup, leaving the space just as they found it -- spotless. We didn't have to worry about a thing. They packed everything up for us to take. Thanks to Tandoor, the graduation party was not only stress-free, but a genuinely an amazing, well executed and memorable event. Their professionalism, quality of service, and delicious food made all the difference. I look forward to working with them again. Menu: Mango lemonade Appetizers: Papri Chaat Chicken 65 Dinner: Salad Chicken Hakka Noodles Biryani w/ Chicken and potatoes. Good Pakistani food !! We tried their BBQ mixed platter and paneer tikka and loved it. Their lassi and mango mint lemonade is on the sweeter side and could have more flavor than sugar. We also tried their chicken korma and liked the way they serve with small fire pit. Kept it boiling hot for people who love to eat very hot food. Pandu chaat was just okay . Their menu has fewer dishes but we liked what we tried. Overall it was good and I recommend!!

Garlic Naan, Chicken Bihari Boti, Chicken Tikka Masala, Beef Bihari Kabab

This place was PHENOMENAL. I saw some content creators rave about this place on instagram and they weren't lying. My husband and I shared the Mixed Grill Plate and got: chicken tikka, chicken Bihari, and beef Bihari. All of the meat was melt in your mouth and spiced perfectly! The staff were incredibly kind and made suggestions based on what we ordered. It's overall a very quiet restaurant from a noise perspective, but multiple families were dining when we walked in. We will definitely be back!

What a total Gem of a place! So glad we have such an amazing authentic Pakistani restaurant right here in cedar park! The best Pakistani food I've had in a long time! It can give bundu khan a run for its money, yes it's that good! The Bihari kabab and the beef sheekh kabab were to die for! The Bihari kabob literally melts in your mouth! Even something as simple as a dal was so good and flavorful that It made me warm all over! They give it ina burner so it stays piping hot, just the way I like my food, I want it hot and they serve it so it stays hot!!! The service is amazing. They went above and beyond to cater to our daughter who couldn't eat spicy! So kind and sweet servers! The ambiance is great! For a change we have an Indian restaurant that has great food and great ambience! They actually cared to make it pretty! Love the decor! Can't wait to try more items! Please don't change! We loved the food!

The food is top notch . One of the best place in Austin with the vibes , great food , great ambiance. We took a platter and beef navari which came with a burner that kept it hot throughout. So happy with the food and Nada was so humble she took her time to talk to everyone I was very impressed with the way she took time for her customers. Great music to top it .

I highly recommend getting a full spread to try all their offerings but whatever you do, DON'T SKIP THE PEACH TEA GLAZED PORK BELLY! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a strip shopping center with a decent size lot in front * Online ordering - you can pre-order and schedule a pick up order (must be at least 3 days in advance) * Open Wednesday - Sunday from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm (or sold out) * Water available while waiting in line * Order meats first and then sides and desserts * Sauces are self-serve by the to-go containers to pack up leftovers We arrived at 8:15 am (almost 3 hours before opening) on a Sunday morning and were first in line (the next group arrived around 8:30 am). By the time they opened at 11:00 am, there were probably 50 people in line. SERVICE - Always impressed by Interstellar's hospitality! They make conversation with you while taking your order and preparing the food. There's also a worker floating around helping with clearing trays, getting leftover containers, etc. I spoke with Warren while waiting in line and told him about how much I love the pork belly... within minutes, he brought a piece for each of us to sample while waiting. Then, I mentioned that it was my dad's birthday when ordering my meats and the slicers threw in an extra pork rib which was above and beyond! PRICING - The total was $321.10 after tax ($24.48) but before tip for the following: * 2.01 lb brisket ($84.42) * 1.59 lb peach tea glazed pork belly ($57.24) * 0.92 lb pork ribs ($33.12) * 0.52 lb pulled lamb shoulder ($18.72) * 0.51 lb (1 link) beef Kielbasa sausage ($15.30) * 0.46 lb (1 link) Polish sausage ($13.80) * 0.54 lb (1 link) lamb merguez sausage ($20.52) * 1 qt of poblano creamed corn ($19) * 1 qt of four cheese mac ($19) * 1 pt of smoked scallop potatoes ($10) * 1 single of tomato zucchini salad ($5.50) House made pickles, pickled onions, sliced white bread, and sauce are complimentary. The pricing is slightly higher than other barbecue places in Texas but that's the "Michelin Star" tax at work! BRISKET (10/10) - This is some of my favorite brisket in Texas (along with Franklin's and Goldee's)... it's incredibly juicy, it's seasoned well with salt and pepper, the bark is flavorful without being overpowering, and the smoke ring is visible. You can request lean, fatty, and/or burnt ends. PEACH TEA GLAZED PORK BELLY (11/10) - I think this is the only food item I've ever given a 11/10 to but it's THAT GOOD! There is just nothing like this anywhere else... it's a unique offering and really sets Interstellar apart. You get cubes of super tender pork belly coated in a sweet peach tea glaze... it literally melts in your mouth and is like candy. PORK RIBS (8/10) - They're tender but don't completely fall off the bone which is exactly what I like. They're seasoned well but don't stand out as much as some of the other proteins. PULLED LAMB SHOULDER (8/10) - Very tender and juicy but it just isn't as flavorful as some other pulled lamb that I've had at other barbecue places (KG BBQ has my favorite). SAUSAGES (9/10) - All 3 were phenomenal! The casings have a nice snap to them, the texture of the meat inside is ideal, and they are packed with flavor. It's all about personal preference in terms of which is best but I think the beef Kielbasa is a good one to try! POBLANO CREAMED CORN (9/10) - This was a newer side that I was excited to try and it's fantastic! I love the poblano flavor and the texture of the creamed corn was fantastic. It's garnished with green onions. FOUR CHEESE MAC (10/10) - I was sad when they got rid of the gouda mac because I LOVED it but I have to say... this new mac is somehow even better! The creaminess is next level! It's garnished with crispy brown butter cracker crumble (with extra on the side to add later) and green onions. SMOKED SCALLOP POTATOES (9/10) - I've always loved this side but they have somehow improved it recently... the potatoes seem slightly thinner which helps them hold on to even more flavor. TOMATO ZUCCHINI SALAD (9/10) - Refreshing side to add some veggies... simple but delicious! PICKLES, PICKLED ONIONS, BREAD & SAUCE (8/10) - The pickles & pickled onions are some of my favorite around. The bread is just a basic sliced white bread (skip it). There is a Texas red sauce and a mustard sauce... try them both! I'm just now writing a review after visiting close to 10 times but I'm happy to report that Interstellar is still worth the hype, even after gaining popularity from earning a Michelin Star. They have unique menu offerings (like the peach tea glazed pork belly), top-notch service, and keep innovating their menu by improving their classics and offering specials. I will recommend Interstellar to EVERYONE and can confirm it is worth any travel and wait!

Lazy G BBQ Company in Cedar Park is exactly what it sounds like: lazy. For a BBQ joint in Texas,…read morewhere the standard is high, this place is embarrassingly bad. Rudy's BBQ should be the baseline, yet Lazy G doesn't even reach that. I ordered the ribs and brisket, hoping for something decent, but both were far below average. The brisket was especially disappointing--you could see the congealed fat right in the slices (see pictures). Serving meat at the right temperature is BBQ 101, and their failure here made the texture and flavor a cold, greasy mess. The sides weren't any better. The cucumber salad was bland, with just a dusting of dill and no seasoning whatsoever. Adding salt and vinegar should be a no-brainer, but apparently, even the basics were too much effort here. I was excited to try the smoked mushroom side (as a mushroom lover), but it was downright unpleasant. There was zero smokiness, and the sauce tasted like a watered-down BBQ sauce, giving the button mushrooms a soggy, unappetizing texture. The BBQ sauce was another letdown--it tasted like bottled Sweet Baby Ray's. For a BBQ place, using (or at least mimicking) store-bought sauce is the ultimate red flag that they just don't care. Even at $22 for a two-meat plate, the quality doesn't justify the price. In short, Lazy G BBQ Company doesn't just fall short--it doesn't even try. If their goal was to live up to their name, they succeeded; this food is lazy, uninspired, and, frankly, not worth your time or money.

Good thing I had my bites right when we arrived at our hotel because I was so hungry. My husband ordered sliced brisket and we lucked out and got a few of the brisket burnt ends. They weren't all "candified" like a lot of the other bbq places serve; but they were smoky and delicious. I also enjoyed the potato salad. We were excited to order the smoked mushrooms but honestly, they could have used a bit more flavor for me. You could just tap the salt shaker and it would have been fine. I appreciated the creative side dish and love how the bbq scene has doubled down on the side hustle! It was cold out so we sat on the enclosed patio that had heaters and were very comfortable. We order a couple of beers and waited for our food. The service was friendly. This was a nice dining experience.

Today, I finally got an opportunity to taste this highly rated BBQ. People...the hype is real!!! We purchased a turkey leg, sausage, brisket (what they're known for) and chicken. We also got two sides of potato salad and dirty rice. I am not a big fan of brisket. However, the owner allowed me to have a sample of the brisket. I fell quickly, madly in love with the brisket. The brisket is so flavorful, tender and moist. So, so good!!! Next, I tried the turkey leg. The meat literally fell off the bone. Yummy to the Nth degree!!! Now, let me talk about this sausage...I have never eaten sausage this good. The sausage was (yes was...we ate it all!) dense, yet moist and super tasty. This sausage did not have a spec of grease. I think I ate most of the sausage. The chicken was also super moist and tender...made you want to slap yourself. The sides were good, however, the standouts without a doubt were the meats. The owner/chef was very personable, and highlighted the preparations associated with his menu items. He created a welcoming and chill environment... I stopped in because my son was getting his haircut at the barbershop next-door. The lady that…read moregreeted me was very informative and told me all about what they had to offer. I didn't intend to buy anything, but it looked so good that I ended up buying two packages of marinated chicken. I grilled the package of chipotle chicken and it was delicious. There was so much meat. You could tell it was expertly carved out by a butcher. They have so many different options. I will definitely coming back to try the other marinades.

This is the original location, out of now 19, in a sliver-wide store near an HEB. The "heritage" of the place is reflected in its somewhat funky interior, and you have to walk all the way back along a narrow aisle to near the storeroom to start your order. But the regulars all know that. It is a comfortably decent, middle-of-the-road Texas BBQ joint that is very consistent in quality, our go-to place. I wish their sides and desserts were a little more stand-out, like Cooper's or Poke Jo's or Terry Black's. The only thing that's better than average is their creamed corn. Recently, they changed their buttered potatoes to add bacon and cheese, which helps a little. On the BBQ side, they've added pork belly burnt ends, which are among my favorite. The service is friendly, and they keep the orders moving. They do a lot of take-out business, given that there are only about six tables inside. Their sauce is what we now think of as the standard, not as peppery as, say, Rudy's and not as sweet as the Salt Lick. We have a bottle at home.
