This may be random but the star of the show was the fresh bread they make with the oil on the side. Don't get me wrong everything else was absolutely delicious too but us girls went crazy over the bread. The caesar salad was big so me and my best friend shared it. The sushi was really good. The four of us got a roll of sushi each and shared amongst each other. All the rolls were very good. The service was great. They brought a free dessert for one of our best friend's to celebrate her birthday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant has a classy dinning experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Half of the people were dressed up nice and others were dressed casual.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I say to check out this spot when you can.

Found this restaurant through Yelp, and OMG! The food was delicious, the service outstanding, portions were huge, you definitely get what you pay for. When we first walked in, we were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not, but we went in for an early dinner (around 4:00pm). If you are going later, I highly recommend a reservation because it got packed quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The outside didn't look as formal, but inside was beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were very underdressed, but we were still served, but I am not sure if there is a dress code and we just slipped by because it was early. Our waiter was excellent, he was very patient with my non English speaking mom which was lovely. He took the time to answer any questions we had, his name is Dani R. We will definitely visit again when we return to Panama.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really beautiful interior with the aquarium and romantic lighting/decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server, Chris, was very hospitable and friendly. My sister really loved her shrimp and grits and said it's the best she's tried so far. Nigiri was good, although I wasn't a big fan of the rice, not sure why (maybe too much sesame oil/rice vinegar?). The complimentary bread and oil was SO GOOD!!! The desserts are HUGE! Definitely ask to see the dessert cart, it's a show in itself! We did wait a pretty long time for our checks, but overall very pleased with our visit. Would love to come back.

Hands down my favorite place to eat! What won me over were their sautéed blue crab legs in garlic and butter--absolutely delicious. Every night of our Panama City Beach vacation we tried different fine dining restaurants, but this was the only one that offered the crab legs. It brought back so much nostalgia for me, since I've had them before in Fort Lauderdale but usually only the Jonah crab claws. Our waitress, Lucy, was very nice, and the manager, Fred, went above and beyond. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us great advice on the menu. Here's what we enjoyed:    *   Drinks: St. Thom Toni (not a fan), Old Fashioned, and Iced Tea    *   Appetizers: Crispy & salty calamari, and sautéed blue crab claws (a must-try!)    *   Entrées: Scallops with brown butter, string beans, whipped potatoes, and fried lobster Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. This place is now a must-visit for me whenever I'm in Panama City Beach!

Lobster Mac and cheese & shrimp and grits

I came here last night with my partner for my birthday. My lobster in the lobster Mac and cheese was rubbery. Not ideal at all. Our server seemed really inexperienced. She asked us if wanted bread the END of our meal. She only refilled our water once at the end of our meal as well. We had to ask for silverware when we got our entrees. She asked us if we needed anything else- I asked for a second cocktail and she ran off before my partner could also request another drink as well. We got our dessert togo just to avoid anymore mishaps. She made us feel rushed and gave subpar service for what we were expecting. Not worth it.

This was our favorite dinner from all vacation. My shrimp and grits were amazing and my family loved the snow crab legs and lobster Mac and cheese. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had an amazing fish tank.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Ask the Community - Saltwater Grill

    Is there a dress requirement?

Hi, Anita - We do not have a dress code. Typically, men wear pants or shorts with a collared shirt, while women tend to wear sun dresses or pants with a nice top and sandals. Hope this helps!

Do you offer reservations or call ahead seating?

Hi there! We don’t, but certainly hope you will visit us soon. Take care!

Are the tables spaced for COVID or are they normal? Want to go here for a big Valentine's dinner but definitely don't want to be right up next to other people. Thanks!

They had all guests spaced out.

He walked off and brought the food. Wife returned to get the crab leg cracker and butter. He had no comment to her as well. Prior to sitting every empty table was dirty so I got towels and cleaned it as a worker stood in a corner on his phone. The good side is the food was pretty good except for the tuna dip. It was terrible. Comparable to a generic can of tuna mixed with generic mayo and funky on top.

As I got my food a band was setting up to start live music. The guys behind the counter are willing to answer questions and make sure you good ordering from the kiosk. Food smelled great and was just as tasty. A bit of my liquid/butter leaked out of the container in my way back to my hotel but that did not stop me from eating it. The corn was a bit over cooked and tasted cooked from frozen. The potato's were banging. The shrimp was so good. I bought a side of the garlic dipping sauce but did not use it as the cocktail sauce was so much better. Skip the garlic sauce and just go with the cooking liquid it comes in or cocktail sauce. Really you don't need a dipping sauce just eat it as is like I do the next morning for breakfast.
