My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here! I had the grilled grouper sandwich, and my husband had the Grouper Imperial. Both were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. Had a wonderful meal at harpoon Harry's. Sat down outside, but it was too cold so we asked to move inside. Our server, Lauren was very good. We started out with the cheesy crab dip with chips. They were very tasty. My wife got the coconut shrimp which she enjoyed very much. I got the grouper platter which was amazing. The fish was very flaky well seasoned, and the batter was very crispy. This restaurant is right on the beach, great view, lots of good seating inside and out. They have both tables and chairs and booths. Lots of room for small and large parties. The food is nothing amazing. Ordered the seafood queso. It had two shrimp and tasted like it came out of a jar. The monster burger, which they say is a speciality, was not good. None of the cheese was melted, the onion rings were mushy, the fried pickles were mushy. The bacon was good. The fries were good. But none of it was hot, warm at best. The shrimp was good, but not the best around. Service was so slow. It was not busy, but took forever for everything. Asked for drink refills, never received them. Its location makes it a good choice, as you can walk from so many local hotels/condos. But, based on this visit, I would look for another option next time. read more

After traveling a long distance to get here we decided to door dash dinner. We've had HH in Pigeon Forge so we figured it would be a safe delicious go to. We ordered a grilled chicken salad,Philly cheese steak and grouper. The grouper came with one side that wouldn't let you pick it so we called the restaurant and asked what the fresh vegetable of the day was. She didn't know. Then she started guessing and naming off whatever vegetables she could think of randomly. Now, yes I guess I'm assuming it would have fresh vegs since it was a choice off of the healthy items menu. But... when it came it had soggy fries with it. The Philly cheese was on the burnt side but the chicken salad was on point. read more

The food was way below average for cost and misrepresented for what it was. The waitress was young and inexperienced at waiting tables, when ask about the food she did not know and was unavailable for follow-up orders. The table was small and after appetizers they brought the main order and did not clear the table. In order to eat we had to put the appetizer plates on the table next to us. The cost of dinner did not come close to what was expected. This place would be considered a tourist Trap by all definitions. I left extremely dissatisfied and would never go back. We got the "famous" seafood bucket and two drinks - bill was 107 and some change. I was astonished. My family and I were really looking forward to a festive holiday buffet, but unfortunately, our experience was below average and quite disappointing. As someone who's worked in hospitality for over a decade, I don't usually write critical reviews, but there were a number of issues that really impacted our experience, and I hope this feedback helps the restaurant improve. We had made a reservation for a party of 7 at 4:00 PM and arrived around 3:48 PM, but we weren't seated until more than 30 minutes later. There was no sense of urgency or empathy from the hostess team, and it was frustrating to see most of the staff just standing around, with only one woman addressing guests. The lack of teamwork was noticeable and off-putting, especially when we were finally seated at a table that was still being wiped down and had no silverware or plates. Our server, Jared, was very friendly and did his best to accommodate us, but we were never given an overview of how the buffet worked. It wasn't clear that we needed plates to serve ourselves from the buffet, and we had to wait for plates before we could start eating. A simple explanation when we were seated or on the way to our table would have made a big difference. Throughout the evening, it was hard to ignore the staff socializing instead of attending to guests. Rather than helping each other clear tables or checking on diners, several staff members were just standing along the walls or walking back and forth to the kitchen without helping with dirty plates. No one greeted us or wished us a happy holiday, and the lack of cheerful attitudes really detracted from the festive atmosphere we were expecting. As for the food, it didn't live up to the holiday buffet experience. Many of the dishes appeared to have been sitting out for too long, with edges that looked burnt or crusted, suggesting they weren't replenished in time. I asked the kitchen staff about the salad dressings and they couldn't provide an answer. For a buffet at this price point, the quality should have been much better. The dessert selection included pie slices and pudding, but there were never any dessert spoons available in the containers. I had to ask multiple staff members to refill them, which was an unnecessary hassle. Lastly, the cleanliness of both the restaurant and the restrooms was concerning. The women's restroom had toilet seats that were barely screwed on, and every stall was dirty. When we walked up to our table, dirty napkins from the previous party were still on the floor. This kind of neglect really impacted the overall experience, as it gave the impression that cleanliness wasn't a priority. At $50 per person, the experience felt far below expectations. Despite the efforts of our server, the overall service, food quality, and ambiance were lackluster. We left with more complaints than compliments, and I sincerely hope the team can improve their standards in the new year. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be returning. read more

Had a great lunch here. Dave is an excellent host, friendly, attentive and kind. I had a bun-less hamburger, no cheese, with fries. My husband had the shrimp quesadilla with onion rings. We other enjoyed our meals. Patio seating allowed us to enjoy the weather which was nice, breezy and quiet. Eating here during the weekday, later in the afternoon made for quieter surroundings while people watching, few people fishing and the Naval airplanes flying exercises. Loving it all. read more

This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. When we arrived, the host wasn't very friendly toward me and my friend, which immediately set the tone. We had a 6:45 reservation but weren't seated until 7:08. After we were finally seated, we overheard two servers asking, "Whose table is that?" while referring to us. It then took about 15 minutes for a server to greet us. When she did arrive, she mentioned that no one had told her she had a table, which really highlighted the lack of communication and teamwork among the staff. From there, service continued to be slow. We waited another 20 minutes just to receive our appetizer (fried pickles). The manager was barely around, and overall the staff didn't seem coordinated or supported. As a first-time guest, I was hoping for a better experience, but the disorganization, slow service, and lack of communication made it hard to enjoy the evening. Harpoon Harry's managed to turn what was supposed to be a celebratory final night of our PCB trip into an absolute disaster. After a full week of excellent food and service everywhere else, this was shockingly bad. We were told a 30-minute wait and ended up standing around for over an hour. Once seated, we waited another 30 minutes just to place a drink order--and even that only happened after watching multiple nearby tables give up and leave because no server ever showed up. At that point, we should have followed them. After finally ordering, our food took another full hour to arrive. When it did, it wasn't even correct or coordinated. One person's seafood bucket came out 15 minutes after everyone else had already been served. A to-go order that was specifically requested for the end of the meal came out before most of the food, had to be sent back, and then re-made--adding even more delay. Sauces that should have arrived with meals came out late or not at all, and drinks were never refilled a single time. When I asked to speak with the manager, the experience somehow got worse. Instead of addressing the issues, she blamed us for not having a reservation and lectured us about how their grill is "small," as if that excuses an hour-plus wait for fried food. She argued with my account of what happened, then bizarrely pulled out her phone to show me she had been "watching the dining room" and insisted our server had been attentive--despite clear evidence to the contrary and multiple tables walking out. We then had to wait again for her to even review our checks. The "resolution"? A few dollars taken off one item. That's it. Our final bill was $152 for chicken tenders, a fried seafood platter, a kids burger, and a cheesesteak--food that was mediocre at best and not remotely worth the price. To add insult to injury, gratuity was automatically included, forcing us to tip for what was easily the worst service of our entire trip. This place didn't just miss the mark--it completely failed at the most basic level of hospitality. Avoid it unless you enjoy wasting time, money, and patience. read more

We decided to head here because it was close to our hotel, and we went a bit later at night. The atmosphere here was a little bit dull, but I'm blaming that on the fact that we ate rather late. Our server was very kind, helping with very honest menu recommendations - some of his favorites and some he was not fond of. I ultimately landed on the grouper sandwich, which was actually quite delicious. One of the unexpected downsides here is that the food seems to be a tad bit overpriced compared to some other options, and they also add an automatic 5% 'Tourist Destination Fee' to your check. This was the worst dining experience I've ever had, hence my first ever (good or bad) restaurant review. 1.) Wait Time- We were told by the host that we would have to wait 30-45 minutes. We ended up waiting 2 hours, and saw multiple parties seated before us that we should have been ahead of. 2.) Food quality per dollar- this was without a doubt some of the worst seafood I've ever had. Maybe I chose badly, but the "shrimp quesadilla" that I got looks like it was made by a five year old. I also got sick from the taste, I think the picture I included in the review says a lot. 3.) Service- the waitress was nice enough, but after waiting 2 hours for a table it then took another hour for our food to come out at a relatively non-busy time (we were seated around 9pm after arriving just before 7). In conclusion, I would avoid Harpoon Harry's like the plague. PCB is not known for good food, but if you're looking for a spot try Sharky's or Pinapple Willy's instead. read more

We were a little disappointed when we started to order our food. One of the items, Cod, my wife's favorite type of fish, was available on their online menu. That's why we went to Harpoon Harry's. But when we started to order, it was not available. Also, there was a drink she thought looked good, online. We were on our way to someplace else for dinner until she saw the cod and drink she wanted. She was upset that the options were in fact not available. After all, we were on our way to one of our favorites, and then changed at the last minute. Anyway, I had the Shrimp Trio and it was probably the best shrimp I've ever had. My wife had the grilled shrimp and she was pretty happy with it. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Even though she had to be the one to hear how disappointed we were, she was very nice.
