Love this place. I attended a sound bath in the salt cave and it was amazing. It has such a spa vibe to it

One of the worst customer service I ever had. The cave is pretty small, and feel absolutely not effect at all.

My mom and I decided to try going for a foot massage at Big Feet in North Vancouver. They're a…read morechain store with many different locations throughout Greater Vancouver. Their massages are based on the principles or reflexology and acupressure.  Prepare to grit your teeth if you come for a massage here. They have very strong hands and apply very strong pressure. I was wearing my face mask and aside from just trying to stay healthy...I was kinda glad to have my face mask on so that nobody could see me scrunching up my face in pain while they were massaging my feet! I like strong massages though. I kinda tend to think that the more pressure they apply...even though it might be painful in the moment, it's probably doing more good for me in the long run. So...would I go back to Big Feet? Yes. Even though it was actually kinda painful and hard to tolerate...I'd go back.  The staff were all chinese and it didn't seem like they knew much English, so...go for the massage only, and don't expect any conversation while you're there. If they do happen to start chatting with you then....all the better!

My therapist was terrible as well. She asked if I wanted an hour session instead of 50 mins so I agreed yes and then the massage was just awful. She spent so much time on my backside and legs pressing with her elbows and then I finally asked if she could use oil and do my back and neck. The guy doing the massage next to me had to tell her in her language I am assuming to use oil. She proceeded to dump so much oil on me and barely massaged my back and neck. Honestly the weirdest and worst massage I have ever had. When she told me I was done I looked at the clock at it was 50 mins and not the hour we had discussed. Think there was definitely a language barrier there. Would not recommend! My husband however had a foot massage and loved it. My girlfriend also had one at the same time and said hers was rough and terrible.

I was recommended this place by a good friend of mine and so decided to go and visit to see what it…read morewas all about. I got a chance to try both the salt cave and the PEMF therapy. The salt cave was a really cool experience, I went in with bare feet and reclined in an anti-gravity chair which felt divine. The main lights go off which makes it even more relaxing. It feels like you are on the beach, with ocean/wave sounds playing in the background. I had a nice relaxing snooze for the 45 minute session, although I understand others choose to bring a book to read or a tablet device. I did find it a little bit cold but I was warned in advance about this (Tammy says she'll be getting blankets soon for people who need them). The PEMF therapy was especially good for me. Basically you go into a room (the room has two mats, one in each corner of the room) and you lie on the mat which is positioned on sort of an elevated massage table kind of thing, and Tammy helps you get comfortable with pillows and a blanket. She gives you an eye mask for the light therapy portion (if you want it) as well as headphones which play soft music. You close your eyes and the lights begin to flicker, which sounds like it would be annoying but it's actually very soothing and kind of clears your mind. The music is very low so it's not distracting or anything. The blankets are soft and so you just kind of chill out there for the session length. I believe each one was somewhere between 10-20 minutes and then Tammy would come back and adjust you for a more targeted session, ie. your feet or back. At the start of the session I was experiencing lower back pain and by the end it was gone. I was treated to an extra long session and so got to experience some targeted therapy in addition to being on the main mat. My upper back, lower back, pelvis area and feet all got extra attention which was so nice. During the treatment I could feel different sensations going through my body, such as a glowing warmth, waves of energy or a light bubbling/popping feeling. I am very sensitive to energy so I have felt things like this before when I've had reiki energy healing sessions and knew it was totally normal! Tammy is so caring, generous, and a lovely person who seems to genuinely care about her customers. I am thankful I got a chance to visit this wellness center and would definitely consider going back sometime.
